Ocean Cottage 52 Heron's Haven es una cabaña de playa de estilo casa adosada de dos pisos con 3 dormitorios y 3. 5 baños ubicada en The Cottages en Jekyll Island, el principal lugar de vacaciones frente al mar de Jekyll. Plano de planta de concepto abierto con cocina abierta, comedor y sala de estar. Master Suite se encuentra fuera del área del revestimiento principal en el primer piso. Electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, encimeras de granito, gabinetes a medida, techos de 10 pies, grandes ventanas y pisos de madera son algunos de los acabados interiores. La sala de estar y el dormitorio principal se abren a un gran porche cubierto con comedor al aire libre para 6 y un patio de adoquines frente al mar con parrilla. Un medio baño y una pila de ropa también se encuentran en el primer piso. 2 dormitorios cada uno con baño privado en el segundo piso abierto a un gran balcón superior con vista al Atlántico. Acceso a la playa: La continuación con el Proyecto de Rehabilitación de Revestimiento de la Isla Jekyll del Estado de Georgia, ha resultado en la pérdida temporal del acceso a la playa al agua a lo largo de nuestra costa. Todavía hay acceso a la playa de la marea alta, junto al revestimiento de roca. Recomendamos Driftwood Beach, ubicada al norte de The Cottages o solo a unos minutos al sur en coche de la zona de Great Dunes Park.

Pedimos disculpas por cualquier inconveniente que esto pueda causar durante su visita y apreciamos su comprensión de la importancia de este proyecto.

Jekyll is always a good idea!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my 2nd time renting this specific cottage. It is beautiful and relaxing. I will return again! This stay I was with my wine and his girl friend. We enjoyed the beautifully appointed cottage!

Relaxing Getaway

A very pleasant place to visit. The upstairs porch afforded views over the ocean of lightning storms and cruise ships passing by. Very clean and well appointed.

We loved our stay

We loved our week here! It was a lovely place with a beautiful view. It was perfect for my 2 year old. There were beach toys provided for him to play with and a quick walk to the pool! We highly recommend this place!

Great for family gathering

It was everything we wanted in a vacation rental- comfortable well appointed cottage, ocean views, well maintained community and plenty of local natural beauty and actions (Driftwood Beach, bike paths, turtle rescue center, historic community, fishing charter, some restaurants and plenty of time to spend with family). We loved it and will likely return.

Lovely cottage!

Just as described - actually better! The views are amazing & we loved the community pool. Be aware the tides do change so there isn't 24/7 beach access but we didn't see it as an issue because we still had plenty of beach time plus about a mile down the road was public access. Would definitely stay here again!

First time on these islands

Had a wonderful stay for my first time on Jekyll (& St Simons). The second floor deck was my favorite place to go each day. Even in the summer heat the deck was not hot. Enjoyed all of the special places to go and the kids loved the water park! The sunset dolphin cruise was awesome! Thank you for sharing your place!

Bicycle Trip to Jekyll Island

Great property for 2 couples. Property was new and clean. The only issue was that they did not provide shower soap products (shampoo, shower gel and conditioner) and so we had to run to the store and buy some since most VRBO properties provide these.

Very nice home in a nice neighborhood

The house was very nice and well appointed. It is located in a small community neighborhood with a common pool and gathering area. All located right on the coast. The best beach access is about a mile from the house, but it wasn't an issue. Jekyll Island is very nice and much less populated than other areas, which was okay with me. It is a very good place to just relax and wind down. There were fun things to do, three golf courses just a few miles away and fishing charters as well. Very much enjoyed visiting this area.

Jekyll Island 1st Timers

Not a lot of “condo” options on the island, we made the right choice. Clean, spacious and location was acceptable. “No beach view” was a bit of disappointment from the 1st floor. However, the view from the 2nd was great. Don’t stay here if you are a “beach go’er” as there is very limited beach and when high tide arrives, no beach at all, just a barrier of boulders. Overall, condo was nice and clean.

The VRBO is as advertised: beautifully situated with incredible views of the Atlantic from the upper balcony. The central floor porch is screened in with nice furniture to dine or sit outdoors. The clubhouse, pool, and beach access are about a block away. The accommodations are nice and spacious, and very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped (better than most VRBOs) with quality pots and pans of various sizes, plenty of silverware and glassware, making it easy to prepare meals. The king master bed is comfortable with a good mattress. The twin beds upstairs need new mattresses.If you plan on cooking, make sure to bring extra hand towels and wash clothes if you want more than one of each (when we inquired about more, we were told to use the washer and dryer), similarly with other linens. Each guest is provided a washcloth, hand towel, and bath towel. If you're someone who wants to change out your washcloth daily or need two bath towels, bring your own or plan on washing them when you want fresh towels. There are extra pillows, but no extra pillow cases. There is a coffee pot, but no filters, so make sure to bring your own.These are minor inconveniences for an otherwise lovely place to stay. I would rent this Cottage again. Thank you!

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful and a great location. The downfall were the amenities. We purposefully chose this property over others in the same complex because they offered bikes. The bikes were broken and when I emailed the management company I got no response. We were there 4 days and ended up having to rent bikes and take the car more than we planned. There also were no amenities in the bathroom. No shampoo or soap or conditioner so we had to run about at 10pm to get soap to take a shower. Disappointing

Great visit to Jekyll Island

We just spent three nights at Jekyll Island for spring break. The cottage was perfect for our party of four adults and one teenager. The layout was a good fit for our family and we appreciated the 3 1/2 bathrooms and two full balconies. The view from the upstairs balcony was great but the bottom porch view is obstructed by shrubs. The sound and shade are nice though. The cottage is part of a very nice resort that is beautifully landscaped and clean. We enjoyed the pool and clubhouse. Two bikes are provided and are stored in the back porch closet. If youre able to, you should definitely explore the island by bike. Its nice and flat and the sunrises and sunsets are beautiful...but bring bug spray! The biting gnats and no see ems are no joke especially in the morning and around dusk when the breeze dies down. We enjoyed visiting driftwood beach which is only half a mile from the cottage. Go at sunrise for the best pics but TAKE bug spray. We also enjoyed the historical district and the Jekyll Island club which has a beautiful sunset on that side of the island. You can see a great sunrise from your balcony at the cottage. FYI the coffee maker is not a keurig and takes cone filters. The grill is gas with a gas line directly to it.

Beautiful Spot!

Cherry, easy, spot with a gorgeous view over the ocean from the second floor. Fit us 4 friends perfectly. Jekyll Island is a nature lovers dream with just enough to do, but still give a quiet, sweet vibe. This townhome had the same quiet, fun atmosphere. Lovely!

Beautiful view, clean house, poor check out

The house was very clean and comfortable. Ocean view is beautiful! Only shortcomings with the property were related to the management. Despite saying that they were going to email the actual address of the unit, no one ever did and when we called to find it, no one got back to us until the next day. Check out was awful. The check out time was 10am, but they reset the door locks at 8am meaning that we had no way to re-enter for the last 2 hours of our stay. Housekeeping was busting down the door at 9:15am to clean the unit as we were still packing our stuff. If check out time is 10am, that means the unit should be private and fully accessible until then. AC broke when we were there, but was repaired quickly, so credit where credit is due.

Perfect 50th for my wife

Spent a week with my family for my wife's 50th. Staff was great to deal with, house was terrific, great location, fully functional. So enjoyed it a d would highly recommend it.
