Wedding wknd at Bear Lake

This property had plenty of beds and space. Very clean. Easy check-in and check out. Adequately stocked with all we would need. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again!!

There was nothing to love about this home. Ok maybe the deer in the area and the view was ok. Pics are deceiving and it’s way overpriced for what you get. It’s an old double wide trailer with a basement. If you plan on parking 10 vehicles there they better be small. The yard is terrible.

Great place for a large extended family

There were beds for everyone and rooms to accommodate several parents and their children, and a variety of other sleeping arrangements. The basement bathroom was a great layout for lots of people. Nice deck with a great view of the lake. Very clean. Just a few things that needed minor repairs. Overall a great place to stay.

Great location but really dirty!

The location was amazing, 10 minutes away from food & most activities. The house is nice but would be so much better if they put more effort into decor / bedding, furniture. Most of the dishes were dirty with old food, so bring your own. We tried to use the strainer to clean fruit we brought and there was bird poop on it. Floor hadn’t been swept and there were a bunch of rubber bands / garbage from the prior occupants. One of the barstool chairs were broken so we just moved it out of the kitchen. I sent pictures to the host. I’m mainly frustrated with the fact we couldn’t do an early check in (asked multiple times) because they were “cleaning” yet it wasn’t clean when we got there.

When I requested more I got towelsLeft front burner on stove does not auto light so they brought me a lighterHand can opener was broken. They did bring a new one. Hot pads were terrible. They did bring coupled of new ones Outside not cleaned up. Garbage. Broken chair. Wire. Roofing nails on the driveway. wire in the fire pit Don’t plan on group activities in the yard. Not much of a flat area Top outlet in upstairs bathroom does not work. Blinds on sliding door are brokenThey ask you to take off your shoes in the house but you are going to kill your feet on the broken kitchen floor and deckDeck banister and floor are not stableWAY OVERPRICED FYI for those thinking of staying. It’s an older double wide on a foundation. Needs a lot of maintenance

Family time!

I love Bear Lake, it’s so much better when you experience the Lake and Garden City with family. The house was perfect for my family, we had a bedroom for each separate family and enough beds for all of us. I was so grateful to have 5 bathrooms also. A good time was had by all!

Great Place With a Great View

Lovely home, plenty of room for all of our guests. Nice size yard. Full kitchen and tons of kitchen gear made it easy for us to make our own meals. Close to activities and attractions. Big deck with a great view of the lake. We even had several visits from a group of cows (on the other side of the fence).

Great group or large family retreat

I had a work group of 10 people. We had a great time. The home is set up really well to handle a big group. We loved the large deck and fire pit for our nightly gatherings. The kitchen has enough room to cook for a large group.

Awesome Views!

This house is wonderful! Great amount of space for a large family and lots of kitchen amenities like a blender, toaster, crockpot, pancake grill, bowls, pans, etc! Lots of big bedrooms and bathrooms. Loved the firepit. Best part of this house is the view of Bear Lake from the deck--it is AMAZING!!!! I hated to leave because it was such a nice and relaxing vacation for our family.

Spacious and very nice

A couple problems were: 1) It was hard cooking for a group because there was no cord for the griddle, thus we cooked in a med sized frying pan. 2) it didn't have any kid-friendky plastic cups...only glassware. 3) There were several maintenance issues.... a wobbly chair & stool, no battery for smoke alarm, tiles on tub were missing., & deck banister duct taped. *It would be nice for you to list the kitchen supplies in the description of the amenities. I would've then known to bring a few of my own cooking items. *We loved the amount of bedrooms & bathrooms, and the nice big couches & kitchen table. *It was a nice location and a quiet neighborhood.

Family Reunion

This was a great space for our family reunion. We had 12 adults and it was plenty of space for all of us. Each couple had their own rooms and there were plenty of bathrooms so there was little to no waiting around to shower or use the restroom. The balcony was nice to eat dinner and had a gorgeous view. However the grounds arent super nice- mostly just weeds instead of grass- which made it so we didnt play games outside or anything.

Family vacation

We had a family vacation with 11 adults and 11 grandchildren. The home was plenty big and well furnished. Great view of the lake. We all were very pleased.

Lots of room

Our family had a great time there! Each family had a room and there were five bathrooms. In Sunday morning when we were getting ready for church and everyone was showering the last several people had to take cold showers as there was not enough hot water. The outside of house looks like, from the pictures, that it is a great place to play, roast hot dogs, and have fun but it's really not kept up. Thistles everywhere, getting out the basement your legs got scratched, and we ended up moving the lawn. If you don't want to be out side the inside is great and so is the deck ( it does need some replacement bosrds)! We had fun despite the outside!

Amazing views, could use some TLC

We loved the location and views from the property. The deck was very nice to sit on in the evening and we enjoyed watching the wildlife. The property could use a deep clean inside and the outside was overgrown with weeds. Would not recommend if you have young with all the large thorny weeds in the yard.

Great deal for the price

Perfect house for a large gathering. Many comfortable rooms, well supplied, good distance from all bear lake activities and an amazing view off the deck. The deck railing was loose and a bit concerning, but I would definitely stay there again.
