Extraordinary home with breathtaking views

Incredibly efficient and thoughtful use of space, which was the perfect size for our family of three and pup. The unit is clean, extremely well-maintained, and has everything you could need while enjoying the absolutely stunning sound and ocean views and super easy access to the beach. The property manager and owners were helpful and responsive. This is a dream unit and we had an amazing time enjoying our vacation with it as our base.

Peaceable Kingdom By The Sea

Our 20th+ visit to the Duck area but first time in a condo. This unit was lovely and comfortable. Fantastic views of both the ocean and Sound and very well-appointed with all conveniences including an extensive library and movie collection. Easy access to Sanderling Resort amenities. We loved our stay and look forward to a return visit.

Excellent location!

This property has extraordinary views of both the sound and the ocean. The furnishings are elegant yet comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped light and bright with everything on hand. The library is extensive which was convenient. The outdoor shower made for an easy cleanup and end to the beach day. The owners were most conscientious about ensuring that our every need was accommodated. I highly recommend Peaceable Kingdom by the Sea!

This is my favorite vacation home I have stayed in over the past 50 years! The location was just perfect, close enough for restaurants and shopping but located on the narrow section of the island so that the beach was never crowded. Ocean beach was very clean and well maintained. Walkway to beach is new boardwalk and easy to navigate even with my handicaps, using walker or cane. Views from living area of house are the finest you could ever find from sunrise to sunset! The home is tastefully and comfortably furnished, with books, movies and games for every age. Truly a vacation spot to heal your soul! Wildlife is abundant in this naturally landscaped property which provides enough privacy for the animals to graze with their young. Nice restaurants within walking distance or everything you need to cook a great meal can be found in the kitchen. Our dogs even felt very comfortable here. My family and I can't wait to return!

This is not your typical rental. The location is exceptional with views of the ocean on one side and the sound on the other; hence sunrise and sunset. The furnishings are impeccable and comfortable. Our favorite time is during the winter with a log fire going in the fireplace and long walks on the beach and trails; we bundle up. No crowds just the magnificent scenery and wildlife. This was one of the best weeks we have spent.

Lovely place to stay

This townhouse is situated at one of the most beautiful parts of the Outer Banks. You're located at on of the narrowest points, and from the upper levels of the TH you have unobstructed views of the Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. The owners have stocked the kitchen with an impressive array of kitchen ware, and though we had brought a fair amount of our own things, we ended up not needing them. The owners have also furnished the home with a great collection of books, dvds and vhs tapes. We remarked that we'd love to come back for an extended period and just READ. Our only quibble with the layout of the place was that there's no powder room on the main living area, but that's a small issue. we'd definitely stay here again.
