Bienvenido a 'I Delfini' en la hermosa calle John, Islas Vírgenes de los Estados Unidos; la elección perfecta para el viajero caribeño exigente que busca el sabor de la vida en la isla en su máxima expresión.

Nuestro alquiler de vacaciones está recientemente remodelado y amueblado con estilo, y ofrece vistas espectaculares del azul del Caribe, junto con actuaciones al atardecer que con frecuencia son impresionantes.

Convenientemente ubicado a solo 3 millas de la ciudad principal, también estamos discretamente fuera del circuito turístico para proporcionar el respiro perfecto y tranquilo para un poco de R&R, estilo isleño.

Somos afortunados de tener un par de playas agradables cerca. Además, estamos rodeados de espacios verdes y solo una corta excursión a los senderos del Servicio de Parques Nacionales.

El entorno idílico, con vistas a Fish Bay y una reserva natural virgen, aprovecha al máximo las comodidades naturales de las islas. Duerma con el canto de las ranas de Coqui y despierte con el parloteo de los pájaros Bananaquit. ¡No olvides las impresionantes vistas desde todos los ángulos!

La gran terraza privada es un gran lugar para hacer barbacoas en casa o un cóctel de happy hour después de un día en la playa. Otras comodidades incluyen Internet WIFI gratuito, cocina de teca recientemente renovada, parrilla de gas y estacionamiento en el lugar. La cocina se actualizó hace solo unos años y el baño se remodeló en 2014.

Private, quiet, and beautiful views!

This property had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. They had beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler we could use to enjoy the many beaches on the island. We used the grill on the deck for some meals. We spent a lot of time eating and relaxing on the deck with a gorgeous view of the bay and the Caribbean Sea. The home owner was helpful and answered all our questions. If you are looking for quiet, seclusion and an amazing view, this is the place you’re looking for.

Amazing Hosts

This was one of the nicest places we have rented on St John. We spent two weeks here. Our hosts made it very comfortable. We had everything we needed ... beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, cooler, ice packs etc. The kitchen had every appliance and gadget imaginable. We didn't have to purchase water which was a great convenience because they have triple filtered water. There is also a nice deck with umbrella, lounge chairs, etc overlooking beautiful water views. The most memorable part of our trip was the kindness we received from our truly amazing "hosts". We highly recommend this very special home. Franco & Joanna

Great cozy spot!

A great in-law apartment in Katha and Vezio's home. It's updated, new grill, nicely furnished. Really, everything you could want, and anything lacking, just ask. They could not be more helpful! Steep drive up, have and use 4WD! Really, the only drawback was an occasional waft of sewage or rotting trash odor, i strongly suspect it was either an algae bloom in Fish Bay or else unfortunate wind direction from the closest trash dump. You can hardly fault the property or the owners! Great views, of the bay and sunsets in a quiet and lovely setting. Perfect for a couple! Thanks you two for a terrific stay and for all your help! We loved it!

FANTASTIC!

So much to say about this wonderful, comfortable and well located apartment. It had everything one could need to make their stay exceptional. On a hill, above fish bay we had a beautiful view morning and evening. The large deck allowed for visiting, lounging and cooking on the grill. Katha brought sugar down one day, to put in the bird feeder and this brought hours of enjoyment watching 30 or40 darling yellow birds " bananaquit" feast away...another morning, one of these islands treasures perched on my husbands orange juice glass and was fearless as he enjoyed his early morning breakfast. The bed was quite comfortable and the quality furnishings were well suited to the environment. We would start the air conditioner in the bedroom about an hour before retiring and then shut it off for a restful night. It was warm and humid, but we are in the tropics....so enjoyed the breezes we felt with the sliding doors open and screens closed....and understand this is all part of enjoying our tropical vacation. Hosts were overly protective of our privacy, even calling on the phone before entering our "space". The very best part of our stay was the opportunity to share wine and cheese with Katha and Vezio who were extraordinarily attentive. We enjoyed them so much we invited them to share a day with us on the water, having rented a motorized dingy. We explored the bays and tooking time to hop in at various locations to cool off and enjoy snorkeling and they were great at pointing out information about the sights...can hardly wait to return...what a blast! Ps....we unfortunately had a mishap withour rental car, was clobbered by a hit and run driver....but Vezio worked with my husband to pull out the dent...now, that is going above and beyond!

Cute Apartment with a view!

The Property owner gave great directions on how to get from Cruz bay to the Property. The turn into the driveway is a 2 point turn and the driveway is paved and a straight drive up. The Parking area is shared by the owners 2 vehicles so it's a little tight on space. We managed and I am sure you will be able to do so as well. The owners live upstairs so if you need anything they are close. We have been to the Island many times before so we didn't need to ask much of them. The apartment is cute and enough room for 2 people. It's cozy but has plenty of room for a couple. The small outside deck has a very nice view. We were hoping to see some sunsets, but from the lower level of this property and the mountain toward town - it kind of blocks the actual sunset. We didn't mind because we were on Island for the warm sunshine and the beaches! The property is fairly close to town - but it does still take 15 minutes driving the roads to get into Cruz Bay. The apartment is not over supplied with stuff, but it has what you need. The table on the patio and the large umbrella provide an extra area to be able to enjoy the view without being too hot. There is a grill that worked great and we grilled a couple times. If you are looking to be just outside of Cruz Bay and enjoy the peace and quiet this is the place! There is a newer grocery store just past the Westin with better prices than the main grocery store (Starfish Market) in Cruz Bay. We stopped there several times - saves you the trip all the way back into town if you need to pick up items you might need. It was a great trip!!!!!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Delfini last week and the unit was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Katha, the host provided every accommodation possible. The view from the deck was beautiful. I would highly recommend this property for your stay on St. John and am planning to stay again! Thank you Katha!

Perfect gem above Fish Bay.

During a family reunion we needed extra room and discovered this perfect gem of a space located above Fish Bay. The one bedroom lodging had a beautiful view, was well-appointed, very clean, and overall a lovely space. The owners were very kind and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend it!

The time of our lives

Our hosts fell nothing short of wonderful! They treated us with kindness and generosity. We felt so fortunate to have this as our homestay and would recommend it to anyone. They also went out of their way to accommodate our special needs. This place is in a great, secluded location with a beautiful view of Fish Bay, near a hiking trail with breathtaking sunsets! I Delfini - Wonderful

My wife and I spent 9 lovely days here tucked away from the bustle of Cruz Bay but still close enough to easily get to town and all the beaches. The property had wonderful views. We had everything we needed for our romantic getaway. Our host Katha was amazing - very helpful, attentive and accommodating! Favorite part was taking the day to hike to Lameshure bay, swimming and hiking back. We would highly recommend Katha and Vezio and would be happy to stay again on our next visit to the island!

Just spent an amazing 2 weeks at I Delfini on Fish Bay in St. John. It was just as pictured..only better. The view was amazing and the apt. was clean and tastefully decorated and attentive to detail. Even came to tidy up the apartment mid stay. Convenient to Cruz Bay and the beaches. The best part were the owners, Katha and Vezio. They were very charming and friendly and always left you to your privacy. Would definitely stay at their place again. Took a bit to get used to left side driving and cliffside driving but totally loved St. John.

It was such a special place, the view was amazing! Sitting outside in the morning having coffee was a wonderful experience. Katha was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. It was so great to return to St. John. Will be back soon!!!

Beautiful Place! Great Hosts! Exceeded our expectations!

Katha and Vezio’s home was everything we could have asked for and more. Very clean, and spacious with all the amenities we needed! The view was UNBELIEVABLE! Katha and Vezio went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay, without invading our privacy! I can’t recommend the rental enough. We will definitely be back!

What a great find, a comfortable and relaxing space with extra amenities that made a big difference! The space was perfect for the two of us with a well equipped kitchen and a gorgeous view! No need to buy bottled water as their tap water is extra filtered and they also allowed us to borrow lunch bags and ice packs which made packing luches a breeze. Just far enough from Cruz bay to still be convenient but away from the huddle and bustle. We highly recommend and would not hesitate to return!

Happy Return Visitors!

We recently returned for our 2nd stay at I Delphini and were delighted with the changes/upgrades made to the apartment and deck! The bed was comfortable and with the air conditioning unit to cool the room before bedtime we slept very well! The deck is wonderful for appreciating island breezes, nature and beautiful views of Fish Bay. Katha & Vezio are friendly, knowledgable and shared fun information about things to see and do on the island. Our favorite restaurants were Rhumb Lines and Morgan's Mango. We snorkeled at several locations and we hiked to see the only Baobob Tree on St. John (they are usually found only in Africa). Katha & Vezio also know many of the local artists on the island. We were fortunate to attend an opening at the art gallery in Mongoose Junction and enjoyed visiting with the local people and artists. We thoroughly enjoyed both of our visits! So if you are looking for a secluded hideaway to relax and enjoy nature yet close enough to many sites, activities and happenings, this is it! We know it won't be long before we visit again!

Quiet. Clean. WONDERFUL!

We enjoyed celebrating our 30th anniversary here. It was everything we expected. New air conditioner in the bedroom made sleeping very comfortable. Wifi made it possible for us to text with our cells. The view was spectacular. We will rent this place again for our next trip to St. John! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Great Stay in Fish Bay!

We truly enjoyed our week at "I Delphini" which is located with great views of Fish Bay. Katha and Vezio are wonderful experienced hosts that shared insight regarding places on the island to visit and explore. The apartment was very private, spotless and nicely furnished. We got used to driving on the left and navigating the steep roads and driveway. On St John do not expect consistent phone service or internet as you are "on island time" and should just enjoy the beaches, rum drinks and surroundings. Beautiful view and great hosts

This place is off the beaten path enough to feel secluded and private but is only a 10 minute drive to town. It had everything we needed and Katha and Vetsi were the perfect hosts. Wish we had booked a longer trip but we will be back!

I Delfini Rental

This unit was a pleasure to stay in. Amenities included a spectacular view, very private, clean open studio apartment space, full kitchen, nice deck and balcony, quick access into Cruz Bay for supplies and really nice hosts. Parking is a little tight but available for one guest's car. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. One night we shared a few drinks with Katha & Vesio which was fun since we learned more about the island and about their history with the house. We will go back to St John for sure and see no reason why we wouldn't book this same unit.

A lovely, secluded pied a terre with beautiful views of Fish Bay.

Katha and Vezio provided a completely private, comfortable, visually stunning accommodation. We were entertained daily watching local birds right from the deck, particularly the boldly curious and completely charming bananaquits and brilliant green carribean hummingbirds. The view is even better than the picture suggests, providing a wide view to the south and allowing glimpses of St. Croix on clear days. Nothing could be more relaxing than watching the play of light on the water in the early evening, and then watching the moon set over the hill on the west side. Katha and Vezio were very warm and accommodating people who were more than happy to help but who also gave us all the privacy we wanted -- in short, they are perfect hosts. If you seek a clean, quiet, attractive place to stay away from tourist crowd, this place is for you.

Lovely, Quiet Location

My friend and I stayed a I Delfini February 21-28, 2017 and it was great. I'm a former resident of the island, so am perhaps more selective than someone who has never been. Katha and Vezio are perfect hosts - there when you need them, but otherwise leave you to your privacy. The view from the deck is just like in the photos - only better, of course. The accomodations are very clean and comfortable with everything you need. Like most places in St. John, the driveway is straight up, so it takes a little skill to get into and out of, but we had no problem. If you want a real island experience, this is a great place to stay. Thank you, Katha and Vezio! See you next trip!

Great vacation, beautiful view, remote location

If you want a remote location away from Cruz Bay to get away from it while still being close to Cruz Bay and not too far from some great hiking trails and beaches this is your kind of place. The drive up and down is an adventure your first couple of times, but you get used to it. It is a cozy place with a great view from the deck and beautiful gardens, but you won't want to spend your whole vacation staying at your rental. The island is just too beautiful and there are so many great things to see and do. If you are looking for a pool and lots of people then this is not the place for you. If you enjoy a place to get away from the action after a long day, then you are in luck. The hosts are right upstairs if you need them and very friendly without imposing on your privacy. We look forward to doing it again and again.
