When you are not playing in the sun on Lake George or visiting a nearby ski slope, the vacation home’s peaceful wooded setting offers plenty of outdoor space for horseshoes, sledding, sitting around the fire pit, grilling, an endless game of tag, hide and seek, or just lounging on the front deck.

Comfort abounds inside with 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a family area downstairs and the ability to sleep up to 12. Escape the buzz of the crowd in the spacious loft with a master suite and private balcony.

We had a lovely stay this Christmas, second time at this cabin. The host is extremely kind and responsive to all our needs, the amenities were great house is stocked with towels, linens, handsoap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent all making our stay better. Kids had a blast sledding in the backyard!

Fantastic stay!

This was a great place to stay for a bachelorette trip! Plenty of space for a large group and the host was amazing! She did a great job decorating the house and making our group feel special.

The house was better than we expected. Very clean and inviting. It slept 9 of us perfectly with plenty of room. We really appreciated the games and things in and out of the house to fill some time. My only cons are the location (very bad service and far from pretty much anything) and the slow wifi, the latter of which can easily be improved. I would stay again.

Perfect Getaway

This was a great place to getaway before the craziness of going back to school. Great time had by all old and young. Quick ride into the busy town of Lake George.

Beautiful modern cabin in the adirondacks

We had a great time in the cozy and surprisingly spacious modern cabin that was close to multiple ski/snowboard locations, the house was extremely clean and accommodated everything we needed! Great hosts who answered any questions we had!

I just recently stayed at Shae and Gene’s beautiful home with my husband, twin boys, mother, father and sister and it was 5+ STARS!!!!! From the booking process to the end of our stay it was nothing but exceptional service!!! Highly recommend!!!

Lake George/Saratoga weekend

The property was amazing!!! It was very spacious with the rustic look of a log cabin inside. It was secluded and close lake george and saratoga, We've made this an annual trip, but this was by far one of the best places we've stayed. We'll be back next year!!!! Great Cottage for a Weekend Retreat!

A bunch of college buddies get together once a year, to hang out and catch up. We are fairly spread out across NY and New England, so we find a central cottage to meet at in the Adirondacks every year. Finding a place with enough bedrooms and things to do is always the challenge as we like to know we can hang out all day if we are drinking or it is raining. This cottage was GREAT. Awesome communication from the owners. The cottage feels really updated and new. Internet was great. Loved the fire pit and foosball table. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay in this area!

Nurture your friendships is this lovely home

I reserved the Adirondack Retreat for myself and nine of my adult college friends and sorority sisters. We spent most of our time in the great room and screened in porch. The house is beautiful and the hosts added nice little touches like personalized notes, gifts and health and beauty supplies that made us feel welcome. The area was very close to Lake George where we went on a Tiki Boat ride and had dinner. The house had everything we needed in regards to heating up dinner and serving breakfast. We brought wood but due to rain we stayed mostly in doors although the yard is beautiful. I’d like to come again with my family. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and communicated with us quickly when we had questions. The kitchen was well stocked which helped because we cooked alot of meals in our 3 days there. Firestick was a nice touch on television Giving us more choices than just cable. Bathrooms were stocked with tons of different towels. Overall a great house in a decent location.

Great Ski Getaway!

Gene and Shae have a beautiful home and provided us with all the information, details, and what we needed (including a sweet gift at check in). The house was great, cozy, had everything we needed, and was a lovely retreat after a full day of skiing at Gore. The kids especially enjoyed the fire pit and throwing snowballs in the backyard. Would definitely return again, location to Gore was convenient, we were able to arrive and ski easily by 8:30am both days! A lovely home all around! Thank you!

My husband and I built (literally) this home in 2019 and it was complete April 2020. We grew up together in the Adirondacks. My husband builds homes and I am a Physics teacher and manage the Adirondack Retreat in Athol, NY near Lake George and Gore Mountain. We have 6 children and 4 grandbabies.

We love to travel with our children and we love to travel without them all too! :)

This property was built with love and it shows. It is only 11 miles to bustling Lake George Village, only 19 miles to the fabulous Gore Mountain Ski Resort, and sits right in the heart of the Adirondacks. It is the perfect unplugged getaway to reconnect with nature, friends, and family.

The screened in porch is the perfect place to relax in the morning with your coffee, watching the sun rise and listening to the birds. The master suite offers a quiet balcony to escape from the activity of your other guests.
