The cleanliness, host communication, value, and location were excellent! Plenty of towels, kitchenware, and toiletries. We enjoyed walking around town with all the great recommendations provided.

Adorable little apartment in the heart of Spring Green. Very clean and nice. Could not figure out to get the sofa to pull out into a bed, but would highly recommend for one or two people to use the very comfy queen size bed.

This was our second time staying in this apartment, and it was just as great an experience as our first stay. It's very clean and comfortable and in such a convenient location -- we can walk to everything in downtown Spring Green and it's only a few minutes drive to APT, Taliesin and House on the Rock. We hope to book again for our next visit to Spring Green.

Great location. Able to walk Spring Green, visit Tailiesen, and APT with ease. Upstairs was a bit noisy early in the morning though.

We really liked this property! So conveniently located in the heart of downtown Spring Green, close to the places we like to see and go to. Spanking clean with all the amenities.We attend American Players Theatre every year at this time and are hoping that we can stay here next year.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Once we figured out how to use the lock box to access the key, we found our apartment just as described, although the sofa is new and the old one is in the picture on Vrbo. The new sofa is very comfortable, and the Spring Green Motel sign that replaced the Coke sign, is a wonderful addition. The bathroom had two types of conditioner and shampoo, plus SoftSoap body wash. We slept comfortably and found it very quiet. The only morning noise we heard was from someone upstairs at 7:30 doing what sounded like weight lifting. We were up, so it didn't matter. Other than that, it was quiet. Outside is a nice sitting area. Inside, the kitchen is well-stocked, although with all of the nice restaurants within walking distance, why would you cook? But, if you want morning coffee, there is a Keurig with supplied coffee pods. Coming back at night is not a problem as a motion-detection light goes off when you approach the door, so you can easily see the key hole. If you are light sensitive for sleeping, bring a sleeping mask, for although the bedroom has a door and no windows, the walls don't reach the ceiling, so light from the living room comes in. If you can reach the living room plantation shutter handles to close them, it won't be a problem. I could only reach the living room shutters by standing on the sofa, and in the kitchen, I reached as far as I could and flipped the slats, so the upper slats remained open. Parking is easily found on the street.

I loved everything about my stay here! Being in the heart of town, able to walk to everything I needed, made me feel like a local. (Don’t miss the general store and book store.) The suite was sparkling clean and beautifully furnished, with everything one might need, including a generous supply of towels. It was very nice that the ceiling fans and a lamp were on when I arrived. As a solo female guest I felt very safe, and hope to stay here again when I come to Spring Green to see plays at American Players Theatre next summer. Highly recommend.

VRBO at its best

Excellent location. 2 minute walk to restaurants. Minutes drive to both Taliesin and House on the Rock.Property just as described.Immaculately clean.I can see how one might be confused finding the entrance. But the host made it perfectly clear in his check in instructions.Would definitely stay again.

Quick overnight in Spring Green

Very cute apartment right in the center of town. It was a quick one-night stay. We wanted to tour House on the Rock and Taliesin on our way to a wedding in Black River Falls. Great location, cute and clean with a comfortable bed.. Thursday night there was music by local musicians in the courtyard patio at The Shed which was really fun. We enjoyed sitting outside on the apartment’s secluded patio afterwards. Great experience. Note that the coffee shops at Arcadia Books and Convivio didn’t open until 10;00. The lattes and scones at Arcadia were very good! We didn’t get a chance to try Convivio. The only comment is that the neighbor upstairs was up early and vacuuming wood floors or something. Maybe it was a fluke.

There aren’t many options in this small town but we wanted a kitchen. The town is charming so location was great. The down side is that it is dark, opens onto an alley and has no window in the bedroom or bath

Property was small and hidden in a narrow passage between 2 buildings. Once we found it everything was good. Couch felt like it could have some cushion adjustment but all else was nice and clean. Communication with owner was good. Would stay again. owner was good. No recommend

Home away from home!

Sumply put, this property is just perfect. Clean and well appointed; the perfect home base for a visit to Spring Green and nearby communities. Tucked right in off main street with a great outdoor seating area. Magical.

Privacy in the middle of it all.

Shawn was most accommodating, letting me check in early, which allowed me time to settle in before beginning my four days of plays at the American Players Theatre. The secluded patio offers privacy with a bit of a view of the world. The bed was most comfortable, which is always a concern. I was greatly impressed with the architecture of the space, where he remodeled an old mercantile building but kept some of the details, such as the ceiling, intact. It is a comfortable, interesting place to stay in a delightful small town.

Highly recommend. There’s a nice outdoor space with seating, a gas grill, and a propane heater. We enjoyed relaxing outside.
