SWEETWATER VILLA es una espaciosa casa frente al mar de 4 dormitorios y 3 baños que cuenta con terrazas en cada piso. El nivel inferior tiene estacionamiento cubierto, una bañera de hidromasaje para seis personas con chorros de cascada, una cocina al aire libre con parrilla, refrigerador, mesa de preparación, fregadero de granja y barra de granito. Esta área es ideal para una comida al aire libre junto a la playa o un almuerzo rápido en el porche.

A los niños y a los adultos les encantan las playas, perfectas para practicar paddle, kayak, pescar o simplemente relajarse. Y si alguna vez se cansa de la playa (como realmente podría hacerlo), estírese en la bañera de hidromasaje y deje que se alivie el estrés que trajo consigo.

Todos los televisores están conectados al sistema Dish Network Hopper para que pueda grabar sus programas favoritos mientras pasa tiempo en la playa.

Great place/location

We had 6 adults, 2 kids, & 3 dogs. It was a great location on the beach. Lots of space. I would stay here again!

Great Location/Bunk Beds Awkward

House would be great for two young families with children. We were a party of 3 couples plus one more adult. The bunk beds are all inside the two bedrooms upstairs. We ended up using the sleeper sofa because it felt awkward using the bunks. LOTS of stairs to climb! Big kitchen! Enjoyed the hot tub!

Our Favorite Little Spot on Money Bayou

We’ve stayed at Sweetwater Villa four times and just love it. It’s perfectly set up for our family and has become our home away from home when we need a week of low key relaxation. We love the lower outer deck, easy beach access for our golf cart and proximity to money bayou. The house is the perfect size for us and is well maintained. We hope to be back again soon!

Do not do business with this management company!

We have a lot of experience renting from VRBO and I hate to say that this was one of the worst. We rented this house specifically for the hot tub and the outdoor kitchen which looked so nice in the pictures. However, 4 days before arrival I read a review that said the hot tub wasn’t working properly so I called and asked if they could make sure it was fixed. They assured me they would. It did not happen, even though I called back multiple times during our stay. It was full of sand, no chemicals were added and it would come on and off randomly. The controls don’t work at all. We were very disappointed and let them know that to no avail. The outdoor kitchen is a joke. It was absolutely disgustingly filthy. We spent the first two hours we were there cleaning it so we could use it somewhat. The refrigerator smelled horribly and didn’t work (it did when moved to a different outlet) so we cleaned it really well and used it for drinks. The rest of the house was fine except the vent hood and lights above the cooktop doesn’t work at all and the microwave has seen it’s better days - it took 2-3 minutes to even melt butter. I called several times and the management company was always “going to get to the bottom of this” and “going to call me back” and was “waiting on word from the owner”. Never once did they call back or offer any solution whatsoever. This is just not how you do business if you want people to return. Oh, and just FYI, the Money Bayou which is a few feet from the property, dumps nasty black water into the ocean rendering it useless to play in. The beach isn’t crowded and is nice except for the vehicles driving up and down.

Great stay with some minor hiccups

Spectacular house and location! Only minor hiccups were several appliances stopped working and the hot tub didn’t work the entire week. I attribute the appliance piece to the harshness of the salt air and environment. The mgt company was quick to respond, however the hot tub tech did not respond to calls or emails, time to find another hot tub resource. Other than that, an epic vacation!!

Great Beach! Awful House with Roaches!

Upon our arrival we were given a lock box code. There was no lockbox on the door. There was a person there who let us in. We did not have a key and no way to lock the house when we left. Maintenance said they would come by. Never did. Also, upon our arrival we checked for cleanliness. There was hair in all the showers and bathroom floors. Lots of sand on the floor and counter tops in the kitchen. Because of how dirty it was, I had to go and purchase cleaning supplies to clean the bathrooms and kitchen. We also felt we needed to wash bed linens as well due to how dirty the house was. The bedspreads had stains on them. There was a dead fish in the refrigerator in the outside "kitchen". Also, in the master bedroom we found a glass with liquid in it in a dresser drawer. The tv remote to the living room was not working. The air conditioning stopped working on day 2. The repairman got us up and running quickly. The very WORST part was how we had to endure ROACHES all in the house. Maintenance was called again and sent someone to spray. He stated the house had a bad problem. We had our 5 and 14 month old grand babies. It was awful. The kitchen cookware needs to be updated!

Location was perfect for crabbing and wildlife and great beach access for the golf cart down the road. Only negatives were the windows are super tinted so it always felt dark (we were there a month), broke my foot the first day because the steps blend in with the decking. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home with the most amazing deck views!

Best deck of any home I've stayed in the last 13 years down in PSJ/IP/CSB. The decks are screened and therefore the no-see-ums leave you alone in the morning and evening for coffee and drinks. The sunsets and moon are a full 180 view with no blockage. Gorgeous! Firepit is a great addition as well as the hot tub. We really enjoyed the lower deck and grill and spent a lot more time there than I would have expected. Quiet and peacful...great place. Beautful decor and CLEAN!!!

Very close to the beach and felt safe for our kids to go back and forth. Pet friendly was a plus! Only negative is that the house is on the beach/front side of multiple rows of houses. Families tried to walk around the property multiple times, instead of using the public access. Would definitely stay here again.

House was large with lots of rooms to sleep or get away. Very quiet and private beach and not a lot of people. We sat on the beach each day. Was able to leave our chairs and umbrella out all day even when we walked back to the house for a bite to eat. One day we saw a school of dolphins swim by. Enjoyed late walks up and down the beach under the moonlight. Loved sitting in the hot tub at night looking out onto the beach. My wife and family are already asking when we can go back.Was a perfect get away!!!

Beautiful property! That water though...

The house was great! The A/C had a little trouble keeping up but that was they only issue we had. It was consistently about 80 degrees inside. However, the water was the color of really strong ice tea. We knew that a fresh water source ran in near by but we had no idea it would make the water so brown. Luckily, the Cape San Blas public beach is pretty close and we were able to enjoy crystal clear water there.

Outdoor space and location were just superb

The outdoor space, the beach. Any issues were easy to overlook due to these two items alone. Upstairs king bed was extremely comfortable as well. Property is older so it has some "dings and dents"....had an issue with pest that took a while to resolve. But didn't harm the experience.

Nice beach house

The house was great. Good location on a very quiet beach in early March. Inside was clean and had everything we needed. The screened in decks were spacious and offered a great view. The fire pit and hot tub were key for early spring visit. We would book this place again.

The house sits toward the end of the block, so the beach is practically private. The hot tub was wonderful and we used it daily! The house itself was nicely decorated, all beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were updated. The house was very clean. Our only complaint was that the kitchen cabinets need updating. The slide out drawers are broken. There are plenty of dishes, pots and pans, but there were no cleaning products, so be sure to bring your own. All in all, it was a wonderful month, and we will gladly be returning to Sweetwater Villa!

It's so amazing to have your own private beach, and the views from both porches are incredible. The kitchen is amazingly well-stocked, and we actually enjoyed cooking while on vacation! The master bedroom bed was so soft and comfortable - we slept great every night.The beach was perfect, and we enjoyed our daily sunset walks. The sand is so soft and silky. Some days the waves were calm/quiet, and other days they were quite large and crashing. We were surprised that so many cars drive up and down the beach - honestly probably saw more cars than we did people.The night skies were incredible! I'm an amateur astronomer, and it was fabulous to see a sky with minimal light pollution. So many stars, and I enjoyed watching the Taurid meteor shower from the hot tub.There's a small general store only one mile away, and downtown Port St. Joe is an easy 15-20 minute drive. The chinese food delivery was excellent! Unfortunately, most of the people who work in Port St. Joe do NOT wear masks despite the pandemic, but we did enjoy a couple of meals at KrazyFish Grille where they had a nice outdoor patio that welcomed dogs.We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely recommend this house. I'm sure kids would just love the 2 rooms that have bunk beds.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd year at this same house. We love the location and have enjoyed each year that we spent there. It is our one family vacation a year. The location is perfect and the beach is wonderful. My grandchildren have plenty of room to play and have a good time. We takes bikes and go for rides daily on the bike path. The air conditioner is struggling to keep up and both of the ceiling fans in the family room did not work. The new fans were ordered but just didn't make it in time for our trip. Hopefully the air conditioner can be updated/fixed before our trip next year. Thanks for all your help in making our trip relaxing!! Marsha Miller

Perfection on the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was one of the most beautiful vacation houses we've rented in Florida. The furnishings and kitchenware were lovely. We loved the wide beach with great bird watching at Money Bayou, including the famous bald eagles. It was really great to be able to see both the sunrise and the sunset on the beach. The Port St. Joe area has plenty to do yet is laid back. It was a wonderful month!
