Escapada recientemente remodelada y espaciosa

Relájese en todo el espacio del último piso de nuestra casa victoriana recientemente remodelada en el vecindario "moderno" South Wedge de Rochester. Se tarda menos de 9 minutos en llegar a las cafeterías locales, restaurantes, bares, cooperativas de productos orgánicos, estudio de yoga, tienda de la esquina y nuestra tienda de postres favorita.

La cocina está completamente equipada con todos los utensilios de cocina que pueda necesitar. El sofá se extiende a una cama de tamaño completo con un colchón real y tenemos un colchón de aire de tamaño queen si necesita alojar hasta 6 personas durante la noche. Hay un área común con lavandería y detergente gratuito en el que el código de su puerta le permitirá ingresar.

Vivimos en la unidad trasera y trabajamos desde casa, por lo que si alguna vez necesita algo, siempre estamos dispuestos a ayudarlo.

November stay

We enjoyed our stay. Location is great for easy access to Rochester. The bottle of wine & chocolates on dining room table was a welcoming extra special touch. my wife really appreciated the Brita water in refrig. Couple of small suggestions to make a stay even better: more lighting.... light on front porch to help see lock and enter code in dark. small battery operating sensor lights on inside stairs...as they are numerous and steep. small side tables with reading lights on each side of bed

Excellent Accommodations

The apartment was exactly as described. We enjoyed the “extras” that were left for us. Quiet street and was easy to navigate the area. Highly recommend!

I stayed in this beautiful house in a great neighborhood while i went to visit a friend the house was very comfortable in a quiet nice neighborhood and had lots of food options and stores around the hosts were also very nice and constantly check up on you to make sure everything for your stay is good i would definitely stay here again when i come to visit.

Great section of a nice Victorian Home!

This Victorian home had plenty of room for me to spread out and do my work as well as rest comfortably. It was clean and had plenty of amenities, including extra pillows, toothbrushes, you name it… Highly recommended! Five stars! (*****)

Great location

This was a nice space for me and my spouse. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and provided some high quality complimentary toiletries! The rental is in a convenient and quiet location. We loved the shops that were within walking distance. We will certainly book here again the next time we want to visit the area.

Lovely apartment

This South Wedge apartment was perfect for us. It's a great location in a fun and eclectic neighborhood with lots of eating and drinking options within walking distance. The apartment was immaculately clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. Hosts Ed & Alyssa have done a marvelous job with this place. A great experience overall.

Memorial Day weekend

Everything was perfect. The place was clean and quite comfortable. The only suggestion I have is to put a light near the entrance to the front door. It’s difficult to work the combination door lock in the dark and it’s hard to see the house number when it’s dark outside. We arrived late in the evening. Bottom line, we would definitely stay at this property again. Thanks Ed and Alyssa for being such gracious hosts.

Stairway to heaven.

Steep staircase up to spacious area. Great location. Hot water issue but host communicated quickly even though it was Mother’s Day. Very welcoming hosts.

Dangerous stairs no lights to outside entrance mold in bath

First the stairs are so steep and if wet very dangerous with a rail that you have to reach down to by your knees.. It was snowy and no rubber or carpet on steps ( dangerous and I run marathons),mold in bathroom by toilet and tub, the pull out bed and topper is covered in stains ( looked like pee and semen) and no outside light for entrance in downtown Rochester - so dangerous., Then there was a boil water alert and we were not notified by the host and I got sick. Spent entire day at Urgent care. Then requested to check out and she refused to refund us anything. I am a VRBO host myself and this is horrible. This is not to code the stairs, the rail, the no light at entrance and not a great neighborhood. Would not recommend for anyone and I will be reporting to the Building enforcers of Rochester, NY.

Home Away From Home

This was my second time staying here. I've been flying back and forth from TN to take care of family business. The sweet family who owns the property gave me a lovely souvenir and thanked me for choosing them again. I found that the property is very conveniently located. Everything you need is within a short drive if not walkable. The neighborhood is very trendy, but also very quiet at night. It felt very safe. I loved strolling through the community garden next door. I also found a nice sculpture garden around the block. I'm a princess who needs her space, so I wouldnt have more than 3 adults; although there is room for more people to sleep. There is one bathroom and plenty of amenities if you forgot anything. The only warning I have is for accessibility. The staircase is quite steep and narrow, so I wouldn't recommend it for anyone requiring extra help getting up and down.

Cleanliness

The apartment was not clean. I don’t mind paying a cleaning fee if I find a place clean but I do mind if it’s not. The microwave was so dirty I didn’t want to use it to warm a cup of coffee. The shower area was very dirty and the shower liner was gross!

Great Space

We loved this location. It was central to what we needed and the neighborhood felt welcoming. We especially loved the community garden next door. It was nice for a quick morning stroll, but we did encountera family of skunks at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hosts were kind enough to greet us with a bottle of wine on the dining table. There are plenty of sleeping options; I opted for the couch. We did hit a snag with the key code entry, but the owners live on property and were able to help us quickly. We're very grateful for the positive experience.

We have put a tremendous amount of thought, work and planning into making our property the best experience it can possibly be. We know traveling can be stressful, and your first breath of relief after a long drive or flight is the second you finally walk into your room and unload your bags. This is why we have tailored the experience of our house to be as relaxing and convenient as possible. There are lots of pleasant surprises waiting for you when you arrive. If you've forgotten to bring something like a toothbrush or deodorant, we have a stash of unopened convenience items under the bathroom sink. Exhausted and starving? There are always quick and easy to prepare foods in the pantry or freezer. We are sure you will be one of the many guests who have fallen in love with our place.
