Over all, my mom and I enjoyed our stay here. We agreed the place could have been a bit cleaner in the kitchen area and the floors/rugs could use washing. But sheets and bathroom were clean. The view is great, although it is loud with the traffic.Pros - Walk to the beach in a couple minutesWalking distance to shops and restaurants View of beach from patioComfortable bed Decent pool/spa Cons - Rugs and towels could use some replacing Traffic on Ali’i drive is pretty loud until about midnight. Considering the price for what was offered, I think this was a good place to stay. Thank you for having us.

Property is accurately described. Unit is spacious and comfortable. They have done a nice job of setting up the lanai, a great place for breakfast each morning. The unit is the first unit to the road, so loud cars and their music can be a momentary alarm clock, but wasn’t a big issue for us. The view of the beach/park is kinda along the side of the building. It isn’t directly ocean front. Again, accurate by the description and commensurate with the cost. I would rent the unit again and appreciated the attention of the host and management company any time we needed something.

Perfect location and stay for us. The extras you can’t get in a hotel, like sand toys, cooler, condiments, etc along with the full kitchen made it so much better. The next door proximity to the sand beach was great for snorkeling and the kid, and the walking distance to the downtown part saved on parking. There was road noise, but we were aware of it ahead of time and it wasn’t a big deal to us. I’d definitely stay here again.

AC doesn’t reach the back bedroom and it’s hot. The 1 box fan in the closet is not enough. Just beware if you need AC to sleep. Clean, well stocked and easy owner to reach. FYI the picture in the listing is not from this room. This room faces the street and honls beach, not the pool like the picture shows

Perfect location!

This location was excellent! Easy walk to town, and we loved the convenience of no keys! We came and went as we pleased and the pool was nice too.

Clean and decent location but poor communication with host about cockroaches in condo

B21 is a nice and affordable spot to be near the beach and close to downtown Kona. Check-in process was easy. I think the only downfall is that there was an exceptional amount of roaches that the host said was mentioned by the last 2 guests, but then did nothing about it. I wasn't expecting bugs to be removed from our condo, but being ghosted by the host when asking about solutions wasn't amazing. I would recommend the Kona Reef resort however.

Amazing stay!

Excellent communication and hospitality from the property management. They made everything very clear so I didn't have to ask any questions. The property is in a great location and easily walkable to downtown Kona with its abundance of restaurants and shops, and of course right on the water, which is gorgeous. The condo itself was comfortable, well-equiped, and decorated nicely with comfy furniture. Would definitely stay here again! Mahalo🌺

Partial water view Kona

The property is in a perfect location to enjoy the water & surrounding city amenities. It was so easy to check in and to get access to the pool. The pool is nice & is open until 10pm. The hot tub was great and there is plenty of grilling space. If I come back I’d love to stay here just in a different unit. The condo has everything you need it’s just faces homeless people on the beach.

Loved living in Kona for a week 💛

We enjoyed our stay and loved our location in proximity to the beach and shopping nearby. Close to Costco and the airport and yet not far from exploring other areas of the island. The condo bedroom shares a window with the road which was very loud most nights and garbage day was rough at 4am😅. Loud cars were hard to tune out throughout the night. The disposal wasn’t working but management was quick to get it fixed and working 🙌 and cleaning staff was very friendly. Check in was easy and so was check out! Thankful for the AC and the kitchen as well as the pool! Loved staying in Kona and would go back and stay again if we return to the Big Island.

Home away from home

Central location, quite and overall property clean. This was unplanned family emergency, one week turned into three. It was nice to have a home away from home.

Lovely place to stay, right next to Honl's beach

We had a wonderful stay for 6 days/nights at this Kona Reef condo. View from this lanai is good - Though you get to see Alii drive, what's also in view are the park and Honl's beach. We visited the Honl's beach frequently; even saw 2 turtles there! In the apartment itself, the pull-out bed is quite uncomfortable to sleep. Also, none of the plug points on one side of the kitchen work. Otherwise, a great place to stay in Kona!

All good

Everything was great and as advertised. The only hitch was getting into the unit on arrival. I was sent a text which gave me the code to open the key box. The code worked, but there was no key. We worked for 10 minutes on a second box with no result. I called the contact number, and someone else called me back within 3 minutes. He gave me the code for the keypad on the door handle. The number was one we would not forget, and it was convenient not needing to carry a key. If only we had been given correct info to begin with.

Big Island vacation @ Kona-Reef with my son!

Nice corner condo next to the park and beautiful ocean view. What a perfect Lanai to sit, do yoga, stretch your legs, sip on your morning coffee, & evening cocktail with dinner! Your view from Lanai, i like to split into 3 parts: to the left is Ali'i drive, to its right is a beautiful park and to its right is your ocean with blue water! We truly enjoyed our stay! Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans needed to cook your favorite meal! The management team is excellent! Mahalo! Aaryan & Dave
