Bienvenido a tu propio paraíso. 4/3 con más de 3,400 pies cuadrados de vida sentado en casi 3/4 de acre del río Homosassa. Esta propiedad frente al mar está completamente amueblada y lista para cualquier período de estadía. La casa también cuenta con nuevos gabinetes de cocina, encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos más nuevos. Los baños han sido renovados y pisos nuevos en todas partes. Great location. We go scalloping every year and this has been the ideal house in 5 years. Family of peacocks hanging around the house all week was a cool bonus

beautiful spot

Beautiful location, very relaxing. House is older but comfortable, AC works extremely well. Very convenient being right next to a marina, made boat rental and return easy.

Great Location

We loved staying here! It was a perfect for our planned scalloping trip! We were able to get up early and get on the water without dealing with the hassel of the boat ramp! Also it is a beautiful veiw to wake up to in the morning, right on the water! We will deffinitly be planning to stay here again!

Location on the river was nice. However, none of us had hot water the entire weekend so that was definitely a big negative.

Great location on the river house needs a lot of attention

Beautiful spot perfect to go up and down the river very century located the property just needs some upkeep TLC. The bottom level is notable. It’s moldy and smells terrible because of the flooding but overall it’s something you’re not buying you’re just staying there for a weekend.

Memorial Day Weekend Vacation

We enjoyed our time at this Homosassa River vacation house. The property has wonderful Homosassa River views and our whole family raved about the location. The home has its own ice machine which was so helpful while boating with our Pontoon boat. The owner was always quick to reply to any questions we had. If you are looking for a home to rent on the Homosassa River, this location is a great choice!

Convenient Location

The location of this home is top notch. Situated right next to the marina for easy access to a boat rental. Around the block from multiple restaurants, bars and shopping if needed. Home was stocked with everything we need. The downstairs and upstairs are not connected to each other, so it is two separate living quarters which I didn't realize but worked for our family. Just a heads up for families. Great stay, ice machine was a huge plus for our scalloping and boating days!

Absolutely GREAT property!!!

We loved everything about this house and highly recommend your family & friends stay here too!! Great value for the huge size! Marina next door was awesome if you’re renting boats daily like we did! The exterior ice machine was perfect for loading our coolers and saves you money! The dock was awesome, provided great sunsets and plenty of wildlife viewing including some manatees!! Bobby was very quick to respond to all of our questions and when we ran out of propane for the grill he delivered and installed for us at no charge!! We will be staying here again soon!!

Very happy with this house

Great location. Clean. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything we needed. Plenty of room for our scalloping crew. Bobby is quick to answer questions! The water gets rough in the afternoon and if not prepared, your boat will get pretty beat up. All in all, a great time. We will be back next year!

Large/ Dated House

The House was more than big enough however.... Dishes and cabinets were full of bugs/ feces attempting to close the blinds half of the vertical pcs. fell out. The mattresses were so old and soft they felt like a water bed. Shower drains clogged with hair. Overall lack of maintenance and house keeping.

Nice location, but could use a little TLC

We enjoyed our stay, but the place could use some care. Cobwebs with spiders in the bathroom. Vertical blinds fell off when opening. Towels and cookware were very sparse. Very little glassware and only three plastic wine glasses. View is nice and screened in porch was comfortable. Bobby was prompt in responding to questions and check in was easy. Has potential.

Great location, poor management

We were contacted the week of our stay saying the downstairs were unavailable due to damage from a storm that took place almost a month prior. This seemed ridiculous to provide us an update a month after the storm during the week of our planned stay. However, after pushing back, the management said they will get the downstairs ready for us. Upon arrival, we were greeted with hundreds of mosquitos in the downstairs area. We ended up only using the top floor due to this. Very unfortunate and understand that the storm is out of the owners control but felt that the communication and the way it was handled could have been far better. The upstairs area was adequate and worked out for our trip.

This is an amazing property!

I dont really want to tell too many people how wonderful the Homosassa Hideaway is for fear it won't be available the next time we want to head to the area. From communication with the owner, Bobby, to ease of check-in and the immaculate condition of the home, we couldn't have been happier. There were 6 adults and 1 teen and everyone had a blast. My oldest son and his nephew spent countless hours on the dock and had a blast fishing. We took full advantage of the dock and left our boat tied there all week. It's great to be able to walk a few steps, get in the boat, and be underway. 15 minutes at idle to the springs or 15 minutes idle and a10 minute ride on plane to the open Gulf. It truly is the best of both worlds. The house is well appointed, VERY roomy, and the ice machine downstairs is an added bonus. We are already checking our calendar for a return trip of a week or more next year. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great location and potential. Just needs some "TLC".

The location was easy to find and in a great area. It had plenty of parking and the dock was nice. They had an ice machine, too, which was convenient. This unit would be great, but needs some "TLC". The code was supposed to be provided the day of arrival but we had to contact the owner for it when we still didn't have it at the 4pm entry time. When we got inside, we found the unit was not very clean (we swept floors, wiped counters, cleaned cobwebs out of upper corners, etc.) We also found some unexpected issues. One of the showers needed a wrench to control turning it on/off. (The owner was obviously aware since the wrench was in the bathroom window sill). There were leaks in the plumbing and bowls under a few sinks to catch water. We found that if we used the right side of the kitchen sink the water ran out onto the floor so we had to make sure we only used the left side. The living room light and downstairs stove didn't work. The sliding doors in the master didn't fit the space so if you closed one side, the other side opened to about a 1/8" gap. The windows in the lower unit were sealed shut. One opened up and couldn't be closed so we stuffed a towel in the gap to keep bugs out. There was only one exit available from the top floor (by the kitchen) as the back stairs were locked and the elevator was out of order. The smoke detector battery was hanging out. My sister also scraped her foot on a closet door hinge that was off and hanging out from under a guest room bed.

Great property for family vacation

My family stayed at this house for a vacation and loved it. The house was well stocked, had plenty of space and a lovely view. We saw manatees and dolphins, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Bobby was very communicative and accommodating. We hope to be back soon.

Great home on the river

The home is very well located on a large riverfront lot. It is clean and well appointed for a rental property. We had 3 families with young children stay and had plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommend and hope to stay there again.

My Brother in law, TJ and I (Bobby) purchased this property in 2018 as a potential flip. We saw the value in the property as vacation rental and decided to keep the home and be able to rent it out to prospect visitors to the area but also have the opportunity to enjoy the home ourselves for years to come.
