The cabin 100yrs old and well restored! It's an awesome experience and not something you can find anywhere. The view is awesome! We really enjoyed our stay!

Yellowstone Next Door

It was a great location. Next to Yellowstone and close to Cody so we could stock up on supplies. Very quite and relaxing place.

This was a wonderful property with beautiful sights. This location is great for visiting Cody and the east entrance of Yellowstone national park. We had some minor issues that came up during our stay but we contacted the owners and they took care of it right away for us.The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay there.

Yellowstone Trip

What a very lovely place. Was a perfect retreat from a long day at Yellowstone Park which was only a short drive. Very private, very clean, and well maintained. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have ever had!! Home provided numerous amenities for our stay. Loved walking the trail to the river views! Would love to visit again!!

It had absolutely beautiful and breathtaking views from the cabin. Mr. & Mrs. Highland are the bomb. They were both very gracious and two of the kindest people we have ever met. I HIGHLY recommend staying with them. My husband and will be back again.

Amazing Views and River Access at Cozy Cabin

Excellent location with exceptional views. The river access was great and the fishing was very good. Very friendly host who quickly responded to any needs we had. The cabin does have low ceilings that may cause issues for folks over 6ft. The kids enjoyed the yard area. There is a blackstone griddle available to cook outdoors. We would gladly stay again.

Nice property with great old time feeling. I signed the guest book and also read other's comments. We got the impression from those comments that the owners were in the home next to us and that they routinely would personally welcome guests at some point during their stay. We were there for 4 nights and never once talked to the owners yet saw people intout of the hinge.

Great cabin between East YSNP and Cody

we really enjoyed the cabin and it’s rustic feel and will definitely be staying there again when we’re back up in the Cody area. Met the owners who were both nice and lived in a house nearby. I woke up super early one morning and walked outside to see a cloudless sky and a very bright Milky Way galaxy overhead. You’ll never see something like that staying in a hotel. Thanks for the great advice on horseback riding with the Real McCoy outfit near Yellowstone it was a blast and our guide was excellent.

Cabin was clean we didn’t spend a lot of time there we slept there. It was quiet everything was nice be sure to note if you book it the claw foot tub is not easy to get in and out of if you have had knee surgery. No fault of the owner we just didn’t look close when we booked it. It was really a cute little cabin. It was close to Cody. Drive to and from Yellowstone was amazing.

Great cabin in beautiful surroundings

The owners were very friendly and available if needed. My son and I enjoyed the campfire one night. Had a really good vibe and was neatly decorated. Would definitely stay there again

Cabin does not accommodate 4 0 people

The hide a bed was terrible and impossible to sleep on. The manager was responsive to our complaints and got us a second mattress to use. Also a very soft spot in kitchen floor felt like it was going to give way.

Photogenic Cabin but less functional

Very cool looking cabin and we’ll decorated, however you will find it is basically in the front yard of the owner’s main house. Highly manicured property including reflective posts along driveway and fencing around the Aspens. As an example of functionality, we took pictures of the nic-naks in the kitchen then removed them to make room for our food and such. Good luck getting comfortable on the pull out bed. Bedroom is very cool along with the bathroom.

Great!

Loved the cabin!! Was very cozy and welcoming. The owners were great!! We do wish the cabin was more secluded and by itself we was not aware of that before coming. Great views but website shows some views from the main house. And the main house is right out the front door. But overall it is a wonderful stay!! Would stay again!!

Nice but listing was misleading

The cabin was very nice but the listing by VRBO was extremely misleading. VRBO portrayed it as 40 acres of private secluded property, but it was actually sandwiched in between another rental property and the owners house. Even though the cabin was very nice it was extremely small with ceilings below 6 foot in the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen which made it very cramped for myself and my son which are both over 6 ft tall. The small single AC unit didn't sufficiently cool the full cabin during the day. The Wi-Fi only worked on the porch and we had issues with a mouse in the cabin. Outside of the small yard the rest of the 40 acres not including the other houses was completely covered in cactus and were unusable for anything. I would like to say the owner was very nice and helpful but I feel that we were misled by the listing. The price we paid matched the listing not the actual property.

Thank you for reviewing your stay. The VRBO listing does state that the ceilings are lower, and that there are other rentals and the owners on the property. The small yard by the property is for the Homestead, but there is also access to the river and the giant green yard by the river are guest accessible as well for all to enjoy. WiFi in rural Wyoming can cause some difficulty as this property is located out in the country. We hope you did enjoy part of your stay.
