My husband and i come to GS every year and stay at different places. This property was very small for 2 adults, there is no way 6 people could stay here comfortably. The bed was comfortable, water pressure good but no space and furniture was dirty. I didnt feel comfortable in the unit. We have stayed in much nicer places for the same even lower cost.

Location Location Location!

Overall excellent property. The property is clean but dated. Parking feels a little iffy on P2 if you have a larger vehicle. Easy access to beach and great views of the Gulf. Several good restaurants within walking distance of property.

Quick trip getaway

This is definitely a good place to stay for a quick trip. We checked in on 7/11/22 and checked out on 7/14/22. There were 3 adults 2 teens and one infant. The unit we stayed in was just Meh to ok. It was outdated. The bunk beds are not made for anyone over 5’7. However it was fine for our quick trip. But for us personally we would not stay there for a week trip. The staff is super friendly and it’s a very laid back atmosphere and great location!

Out dated and in need of renovation. Wasnt able to check in till almost 5:30 not 4. Light was out in the bathroom. Tube was worn and paint chipping. Nasty looking. Vanity was chipped up and coating missing. We were just there for one night passing thru, so we just stayed our stay and left.

Expectations

Pictures on this property are not accurate and staff is not informed. Pictures from the balcony show the unit located on the east corner of the building (correct) with other units to the west and another building complex beyond that (incorrect). Pictures taken from the Gulf looking back at the property show that there is a building located to the east and no building to the west(correct). I contacted the property manager in advance of renting and confirmed that this unit was on the west end with no obstructed view from another building (wrong); unobstructed views of sunsets would have been nice. Unit was clean / but general upkeep maintenance was lacking; probably a “C”. Bathroom sink cabinet was de-laminated. Shower tub floor was worn through and cracked. Ceiling fan blades and air vents not dusted / clean. Some of this was listed in a previous review but not fixed. These are not deal killers if you can live with "issues". Public areas were well kept / clean. My visit ran from 12/29 - 3/14; the last two weeks in early March - supposedly the best weather - our balconies and pool were closed off and inaccessible due to maintenance; from inside the unit the best view of the Gulf was also wrecked because plastic masking on the deck rails blocked out the shoreline.It's understandable that maintenance is done in the off season; closing down balconies / pool with no work around was short-sighted. It was a disappointing end to my 3 month stay.
