Great place to stay

Very nice cabin and the views from the deck or even the couch were great. Easy short drive into town for dinner and just a half mile walk to the Crystal Lake trailhead. We would definitely stay again.

A great place to stay

This was our 7th year in lake city for utv riding and this cabin was by far the best one we’ve stayed at. We had plenty of room to move around and the king size bed was comfortable. You could ride your utv right from the house. It also had plenty of parking. This ia perfect place for two couples. We would definitely come back!!

We were two couple staying and found this property a great fit. Both of us had our own private set up with one bedroom downstairs and one upstairs, each a full bath. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed with exception of a baking sheet but we made due. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a fairly quick back road to get into town with your buggy. The parking was adequate for our trucks and trailers. The deck was really relaxing and we would definitely rent this home again

Perfect getaway spot

We enjoyed this cabin for a long weekend of beautiful fall weather and exploring the San Juan Mountains. The cabin was immaculate and the host was very helpful and friendly.

Lake city OHV Riding

We stayed at this cabin for a week in lake city it was very nice place and good location for OHV Riding we could ride from the cabin into town and then straight to the trails! I would recommend this for anyone wanting to come to lake city

Great Place to Stay

This is a great cabin right outside Lake City. The surroundings are beautiful. Aimee came to introduce herself not long after we arrived. We loved the wraparound deck. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all good size. Easy access to the Alpine Loop. Lake City has everything you need. Definitely recommend this cabin and Lake City.

Our cabin was PERFECT! The photos do not do it justice! We were very comfortable day and night. The cabin is located a short Polaris Ranger ride to the Alpine Loop and many other trails The town, Lake City has everything you could need. Aimee, our host was very accommodating and answered all of our questions! Will definitely be staying again!

A Beautiful property well situated in Lake City

The attention to detail is phenomenal. The furnishings are comfortable. The Kitchen is well appointed. There are enough paper goods to go around including Kleenex and paper towels. The bathrooms are very nice with nice Towels. Both bedrooms have king size beds, and enough covers to keep you warm.

The home was just as represented. Owner was great to work with. First time we have stayed anywhere that the owner lived onsite. Enjoyed visiting with them and their kids. We actually rented two cabins from them for our group of 4 couples. Both cabins were clean and comfortable. Trail access was great We would highly recommend these cabins to everyone.

Weekend stay in cabin 4- May 2024

I have stayed in several VRBO offerings- most do NOT live up to their hype and pictures.This was a wonderful exception. Everything was as or better than advertised. My wife and her sister and I needed a place for a long weekend. This choice was exceptional. Two bedrooms, both kings. Upstairs BR was perfect for my wife who just had a knee replaced. The downstairs BR was huge and perfect for her sister. The kitchen was well appointed with all needed dishes and condiments. The living are was very comfortable with excellent AV and a great push-button gas fireplace which we used every morning. The up and down patios were very nice to enjoy. Internet worked perfectly which I needed for work. Location is great, just up the hill from Lake City Market and easy access to town. Cabin is perfectly maintained and very close to the owners, who are totally responsive. We'll contact them first for our next trip to Lake City although not sure when that might be (we're selling some property there). Sign me up for the next trip! Brad W

Family Vacay

My husband and I along with my sister and brother in law took our Jeeps on a week long trip along some of the four wheel drive trails of Colorado. Lake City was our starting point along the Alpine Loop. The cabin was perfect! It was super clean, spacious and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the cabin layout. Enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful deck having our coffee in the morning as the sun rose. The day we left, deer came right up to us. We loved Lake City. Everyone was super nice. We spent one afternoon wandering around the town. We had lunch and shopped at some of the cute stores. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to stay here again.

Place is beautiful and had everything we needed.

We stayed during the first week in April and by mistake we didn't know about the alpine loop being closed, the lake being frozen and alot of the town was closed for the season. Despite all that we still had a great time and had enough to stay busy. The kitchen was setup great to cook full meals since most restaurants were closed. The cabin is the perfect distance from town not too far and not too close. We had deer at our front porch everyday which was awesome. Will definitely stay again. The only thing I would add would be deadbolts to the doors. Not that the place felt unsecured, we are just used to locking up at night since we have a 3 year old.
