Location

The house had plenty of room for our extended family. We rented both the upper and lower for the week. The palmetto bugs inside the house were a but off-putting. As we were unpacking, I had my 2 month old in the bed and he was fussing, picked him up and one crawled out from underneath him. Then we didn't see another until we were packing up to leave during checkout. It didn't hinder our stay, just was on high alert for them while staying. The parking in the description is accurate, but fails to mention that if the house behind is being occupied as well, their parking is on the street directly behind the parking for southern charm, and it was nearly impossible getting out or in when cars were parked there. Another main reason I did not give a 5 star is because of how empty the kitchen was. Given there was a small complimentary box of 2tbsp dish soap, sponge, towelettes, and 2 dishwashing tabs - there was virtually nothing else in the kitchen. No salt/pepper which is something we just didn't thing about purchasing until we needed it, and clearly had none. It had a classic coffee machine which worked great, but we were under the assumption it had a keurig, and it did not. Minor things to complain about, but it'll be something we remember about this vacation. Beds were very comfortable, even the twins up in the loft on the upper level were comfortable. The main thing which would keep us from booking this house again is the location.

Thanksgiving at the beach

We had a great family Thanksgiving at the beach. This house was great and comfortable for the whole family. The sunsets from the beach or back deck were stunning every night.

Beautiful Beach Home!

This property was gorgeous and in a great location. The decor was awesome and it had all you need for a great beach vacation. We did have a few issues, which were mainly with the property manager 360 Blue: -on arrival, the bathrooms were not cleaned well(hair in sinks, showers and on floor) so we had to have the cleaning crew return the first night. -the outdoor shower knob was broken and 360 Blue said they were aware but had to order a new part-which was not going to help us during our stay, so we suggested ourselves that they hook up a water hose so we could rinse sand of when returning from the beach. They did eventually do it, but it took several phone calls and waiting on hold to get it done. -the beach chair service was not set up until around 9 each day, which was a problem because all the surrounding properties use a different chair service and it was set up at 6am so we had to fight off people trying to set up on our private beach area each day. They would not come any earlier, so my husband got the lock code and had to get up at 6 every morning to go claim a spot for us on the beach. Overall, it was a great stay but I would definitely say there is room for improvement on 360 Blue’s part. There needs to be a local, non 800 number on which you can contact the concierge during your stay. It was a hassle to call and have to wait on hold and talk to a different person each time. I think it would be great if you had a dedicated concierge person who you can easily call or text with issues. I also think it would be better to use the other beach chair service since they set up earlier and guests wouldn’t have to stress about getting a spot each morning. The houses behind it were super close and it was hard parking and pulling the cars out so just beware of that. The house was roomy, gorgeous and just as advertised! We would definitely stay at this home again!!!

Hello Lezlie, We are so sorry to hear that your stay with us was anything less than five stars. Unfortunately, we do occasionally make mistakes and do not come across every issue in each home and therefore rely on our guests to alert us to anything troublesome so that we can make every effort to correct any issues you come across during your stay. Please also keep in mind that since you had checked in before our 4pm check-in time, we were not able to send our inspector into the home to confirm that the clean was complete, and met our standards. This is due to Covid restrictions that we are not allowing them to go into homes where guests have already arrived before the inspection. I do see that we were able to get a contractor out to fix the outdoor shower as quickly as we could, and did purchase a new hose for your use until then. We also apologize for the chair set up being less than perfect and we will be sure to share this feedback with our entire team in an effort to correct this for future guests. Thank you for staying with 360 Blue, and we do hope that you will consider us in the future.

Parking was a challenge since guest were coming from all places ... One of beds had sand in them but other than that will properly rent this house again

November 2019 Stay

We traveled to 30-A for Thanksgiving week celebration with entire family. We had a fabulous stay in this property. Highlights were: location directly on beach with marvelous views, comfortable and complete amenities, great layout for large groups with two separate living areas & two kitchens, clean and in good working order. Good chance this becomes an annual endeavor and repeat location.
