Adorable house - Exceeded expectations

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 4 people and rented the bottom unit in May. The interior is exactly like the photos and you're instantly in Key West vacation mood. The backyard pool area is gorgeous and we drank coffee out there in the mornings and were tempted back there every afternoon for a few hours of glorious pool time between checking out the town and sights. Loved the convenient location and we did not have any close-by roosters crowing. Upstairs neighbors were friendly and we shared tips on what to do in KW. I suspect, due to the not-low-budget accommodations, that this house doesn't attract the young partying crowd. A couple of tips: there are some mosquitoes at night but we found a bunch of bug spray under the kitchen sink. Bring hair conditioner - it's not provided and the shampoo is only enough for a couple of days if you have women using it :), also living room chairs are too stiff, not comfy, but couch is fine. I would highly recommend for all the reasons the previous Reviewers gave and I hope I can go back because, even though Key West is tiny, there's "still so much to be done" and we weren't able to visit the Dry Tortugas this trip!

Sea Conch House

This is a fabulous property, with everything you could need in an excellent location….mid way on the island and couple blocks off Duval so easy walking and no noise. We have stayed here before and will come back again. The backyard is like an Oasis!

Amazing Spot in Key West

My family had an amazing stay at the Sea Conch! First, the kitchen was the best-stocked of any vacation rental I've ever stayed in. Blender, toaster, skillets and pans in different sizes, even an electric griddle, decent knives, and a super clean fridge. Second the pool! The outdoor spaces here are top-notch. Front porch for people watching, gorgeous landscaped backyard and pool for privacy. Last, the location. We could easily walk to nearly everything we wanted to see: Duval Street, KW cemetery, shops, and restaurants. Yet far away enough that it was quiet and relaxing. Can't say enough positive things about this spot!

The location was amazing, close to all the shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of nearly everything. The parking space next to the house was also phenomenal. The inside was charming, spacious, and very comfortable. Our children loved the heated pool out back and we spent many evenings enjoying the beautiful trees and plants and cozy covered patio out back. It was just wonderful.

Maybe the AC system needs to be cleaned and replace filters. I have already recommended the property and my friends tried for the upstairs units. Now I don't know if I could recommend it now.

Key West Family Spring Break

We had an amazing stay at the Sea Conch. The location is perfect — you’re a short walk away from most destinations — yet you still feel like you are in a private and peaceful location. We were staying with young kids so that was important to us. The shared pool in the backyard was great; the kids loved it. The house was just as pictured and had everything we needed. The hosts were exceptional and proactively communicated and addressed our needs. We’d definitely stay here again.

Outstanding location / Immaculate

A perfect place for the 5 of us: Age 10 months to 77. We enjoyed the pool and quiet neighborhood. A 5-minute walk to some great local restaurants (Bob's on Margaret) and Duval St. We'll definitely return to this house and we'll use HKWVR again; top notch!

A very nice apartment in old town

Great location a couple of blocks from Duvall Street. The apartment was well equipped and the front porch and rear pool areas were very nice. We had the downstairs two bedroom unit, so it was great to have the one off street parking spot. The pool area is shared with the two units upstairs, but that was not an issue. The washer and dyer are outside in a shed beside the building, but our stay was too short to need to up them. The only issues we encountered were 1) you can hear the neighbors walking on the floor above you, could be an issue if you are light sleeper or the upstairs neighbors are up late or early, 2) the exhaust fans in the baths are very loud and come on automatically when you turn on the lights, 3) the water pressure in one shower was very low, and 4) the showers did not have curtains, not a problem in one but for the other it caused the floor to get wet in the bath, creating a slipping hazard. We reported the last 3 issues to management, so hopefully they will be addressed.

Historical Gem with pool!

Perfect home within walking distance of everything. After site seeing, the heated pool was a wonderful place to take a dip and relax. Would definitely stay again & recommend to friends traveling to Key West.

Best stay ever!

This was the most amazing experience we could’ve ever asked for. We came down with friends to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and from the very start, we were treated like royalty. From the concierge (Cindy is the best) to the location to the property itself, this was a 5-star experience. We loved the accommodations - from the quaint porch to the spacious common area to the lush outdoor pool space! And location, location, location! Close enough to everything but far enough away from the crazy. We will definitely be coming back - thank you HKWVR! Y’all are the best!

Amazing Location and Amazing Property

Sea Conch was even better in person! We booked the 2/2 downstairs unit with another couple traveling with us for Fantasy Fest. It was so nice that we spent a couple of afternoons just hanging by the pool instead of venturing out! The house is spacious with plenty of room to accommodate 4 adults comfortably and the backyard is amazing. We will certainly be coming back again!
