EL APARTAMENTO PALMS DE YOURHOMEINLUCCA
El apartamento toma su nombre de las dos palmeras que se encuentran en el patio de entrada, justo en el centro histórico de la ciudad.
La casa es muy luminosa, ya que se encuentra en el segundo y último piso de un edificio que alguna vez fue un convento, y es muy tranquila, ya que da a los patios internos por todos lados.
Está bien cuidado y amueblado con gusto moderno: la cocina es una habitación separada de la sala de entrada, y a través de un pequeño pasillo se accede al lavadero, al baño con ducha y al dormitorio doble.
El colchón es muy cómodo, la casa tiene aire acondicionado y los dos invitados pueden desayunar en la cocina y almorzar en la luminosa sala de estar.
Se puede llegar al apartamento subiendo las hermosas escaleras de piedra que eran la entrada al convento, o tomando el ascensor.

La ubicación es fantástica, de hecho es un patio interno de la calle principal de la ciudad: cafeterías, supermercados, bares y restaurantes están justo a la salida del patio. La famosa Piazza Anfiteatro está a 100 metros.

La autopista está muy cerca del centro histórico (a menos de 10 minutos en coche), la estación de autobuses y la estación de tren, desde donde se puede visitar fácilmente Pisa y Florencia, se puede llegar a pie en 20 minutos, y la parada de autobús El centro es de 100 metros.
El aparcamiento gratuito más cercano está a 400 metros.

Poor handover

Incomplete verbal handover re free parking resulting in a fine. No advice about using TV which turned out to be broken. Guest book about owners favourite eating places and not about practical info eg nearest grocery shop.

Just Perfect

I stayed at this property for 2+ weeks and have only good things to say about it. The property owners were very responsive both before and during my stay. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped, the living area was a good size, and the bedroom had plenty of drawers and hanging areas for clothes. The apartment is situated in a very nice neighborhood convenient to everything. Grocery stores are within a short walk as well as any other kind of shopping you want to do. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe here. Highly recommend.

Location was fabulous and the apartment had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. There was a little problem connecting to the internet but it was quickly resolved. Luisa and Enrique were lovely.

Scottish experience in Lucca

A lovely way to start our month in Italy. The apartment was faultless. Spotless, comfortable , good location and had ever thing we needed. We were met by Enrico the host, at a time that was convenient to us, much appreciated. He then gave us information on the town, a personal guided tour and we insisted that he join us in having some gelato 😉😂😉 He is also a talented musician so we shared interests about Scottish bands......having seen The Average White band in person he was very impressed! Enrico, a warm welcome will await you in Scotland if you choose to come but we can’t promise the lovely Italian weather or music. Lucca has been all we expected it to be and more. Wonderful stay in lovely Lucca apartment!

I highly recommend this property. It is very well maintained, bright, spacious – and in the perfect location in Lucca, steps to great restaurants and shops but also very quiet at night. Enrico made the check-in process very easy and offered lots of great recommendations for our stay. He was readily available throughout our week there for questions. The picture are exactly representative of the unit. We would definitely stay here again. Book with confidence!

Charming property - Perfect location

I have stayed in a number of properties in Lucca, and Le Palme was without a doubt my favorite. Very safe, with elevator access key. Views from the apartment were charming and delightful, courtyard on one side and beautifully manicured grounds on the other. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the possible utensils for the preparation of meals, pots and pans were clean and plentiful. Dishwasher and Washing Machine were like new, and both were very efficient. Extra linens and towels were provided, which were greatly appreciated, considering my month long stay. Enrico is the perfect host, and you can certainly tell that he has given a great deal of thought to the total comfort of his guests...this is demonstrated by the decor and most importantly, by the screened windows, which are unheard of in Lucca. It was so nice to be able to open the windows and feel the lovely breezes, anytime of the night or day, and not be bothered by pests. The location is right on the main shopping and activity center of Fillungo, steps from the Anfiteatro, pizzerias, restaurants, local market, Momus pasticceria, gelaterias and shopping for beautiful local goods, including leather and fine silk scarves. I will definitely choose this property for my next trip to Lucca. Thank you, Enrico, for your kind hospitality.

The Best VRBO Apartment We’ve Rented

Renting this amazing apartment was the best decision we made. It is spacious, modern, bright, immaculate and so well situated- just off the main street buffered by a beautiful courtyard. One can walk to Lucca’s many attractions and enjoy the numerous shops and eating spots en route. The bottega around the corner is fantastic and two supermarkets we went to are just a short walk away. There is easy access to the apartment, by stairs or elevator. It is private and secure as there is a locked gate in the hallway restricting access to the second floor- a great feature. The wonderful kitchen is well equipped and the appliances, including a washing machine, are modern. The bathroom is a beautiful, spacious, spotless bright space with modern fixtures and the skylight is a great feature, allowing lots of natural light. The bedroom is spacious with lots of closet space and we slept so well due to the super comfortable bed, interior shutters ( great blackout feature) and quiet location. Enrico is a wonderful host who took the time to show us around the apartment and provided us with lots of information re restaurants, wineries, etc.He replies quickly to emails. He understands travellers’ needs. Thank you for making our stay in Lucca so pleasant and memorable. We will be back!

Clean, Beautiful, Convenient

This home away from home was amazing. It was located right in the historic district of Lucca. However, you would never realize you were in the center of town. It is situated slightly off the street, meaning , no street noise, and a great nights sleep! The apartment is spotless, the linens were immaculate and of high quality. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a delicious Tuscan meal. And if you don't feel like cooking, the corner grocer has ready prepared foods and groceries alike. They are kind and helpful. I cannot say enough about our host, Enrico. He was so helpful and genuine. He is a gem among common stones.

Great centrally located apartment.

Fabulous location - close to everything. And at the same time unbelievably quiet. All the amenities in apartment made it feel like home. It was even complete with an elevator (which most places in Lucca do not have) and a dishwasher! Great host. We recommend to all and hope to come back next year.

A lovely apartment in a great location

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely ancient town. The apartment is spotlessly clean, well equipped and has been finished to a very high standard. As an added luxury the apartment is served by it's own private lift which was a great welcome following hours of walking around the miles of streets and alleys of Lucca. Although the apartment is at the north side of town we found it an easy walk to the bus station (10-15mins) and the train station (15-20mins). Alternatively the taxi rank is 2-3mins around the corner. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

WONDERFUL!!!

The best way to say it: "There is not a better 2 person rental inside the Lucca walls"...Why you ask? 1. Location: It is on the main street of Lucca (Fillungo) but set behind another building so you have peace & quiet inside a very busy touristy town. There are 2 Italian Deli's less than 2 minute walk from condo + 4 bar/pastry shops inside a 100 yard circle. 2. Condo: Nicely furnished with modern heating and A/C system where you (not the building) control the environment. The apartment has everything you need for however long you decide to stay...my wife and I stayed 30 days with no issues. 3. Security: A key´d elevator that opens on the condo level backed up with a private locked staircase for those who wish to walk-up the stairs. As background, this was not our first stay in a Lucca rental; however, by far, our best experience. (yes, that's a period!!!)

A month in heaven

Le Palme proved a perfect spot for our month long stay in May/June 2016. The location is central in a secure, upstairs apartment with private elevator. The apartment is spotless with fully functioning kitchen appliances, a washing machine, flat screen TV with English language programs available, lovely views, sweet breezes and great WiFi. Our host Enrico was fluent in English, charming, and available. His "orientation" to the premises and the neighborhood was invaluable as we learned our way around the walled city. His tips on grocers, gelato and restaurants were great. This stay was everything we'd hoped for and more.

PERFECT

Perfect position in the heart of beautiful Lucca , you have everything you need within walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights over new year. Wonderful apartment in the heart of Lucca!

We had a wonderful stay at The Palms. The apartment was spacious, well-equipped and perfectly located on one of the main streets in Lucca. Enrico was very welcoming and hospitable, and easily contacted. We loved the fact that the apartment was in an old convent, but beautifully remodeled. It had high ceilings, a nice kitchen, and beautiful bathroom! The wifi worked well, and we felt very secure in the building. An added plus was having the elevator since we were using a stroller. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family! Thank you for a wonderful stay Enrico!

A great quiet apartment central to everything

We (2 people) stayed a month in this apartment. It is a great modern apartment that is very quiet, but right in the middle of everything. From the apartment you can do basically everything in Lucca on foot, although we did get a parking permit for the month, so it was also easy to get around further. Enrico, the host, was kind and of great help with the little questions that came up during a longer stay such as ours. We used the kitchen a lot, and enjoyed the fact that the apartment has all needed utilities (including a washing machine, wifi and airconditioning). We are certain to try and book this again if we return to Lucca.
