Great overall experience at Lakeview Haven! The property was meticulously cleaned and is the best stocked VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. John and Dianne were excellent communicators and there was an abundance of additional info (eg, local restaurants, stores, instructions for electronic devices, etc) located in the physical space that made the entire experience smooth and generally fantastic. Proximity to Grand Lake and RMNP was fantastic as well. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Lakeview haven! Perfect location for checking out many different areas. Amazing views. The house was equipped with everything you could need and was very clean. We felt right at home. Kid loved all the game options and the prairie dogs in the front yard. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had our annual trip with our best friends here in late September. We are two couples in our early sixties so the decor from the 60’s brought back many memories and childhood stories. The house is warm and inviting and has everything you could possibly think of in the kitchen. One in our party has slight mobility issues so it was nice to have everything on one floor and only a few small steps to get in. However the lower level is lovely and I can see how a family with children would love this setup as well. There is a closet full of games and puzzles, a great library of books on the area and Colorado mountains as well as a take one leave one shelf. The deck is large and the view is wonderful. We were here at the peak of the trees changing colors so it was especially beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We all commented on how comfortable the beds are. I was a bit technically challenged with the door lock. I called Dianne who picked up right away and walked me through it. She was very cheerful and kind. You can tell they put a lot of time and thought into all the special touches. We would definitely stay here again.

What a place! Amazing views, incredibly clean, and impeccable attention to detail in terms of included amenities. Extra towels? Check. Pillows? Check. Need to zest a lemon? Yep, they've got that, too. This is just an exemplary vacation rental. Highly recommended.

This was our second time at Dianne and John's cabin in Grand Lake. This was the first vacation house we returned to for a consecutive year. This place is perfect, extremely family friendly with great views. We had a 5 and 2 year old with us and they loved the space, the deck, and the toys. We hiked every day and would come and relax at home. The cabin has all amenities and a well stocked kitchen and spice cabinet. We even arrived a little early and Dianne immediately opened the door for us. I broke a bowl and Dianne was extremely understanding. The place is filled with love and care and you can feel it. We would love to come back next year if we can. Thank you.

What can I say- my wife gave me the task of picking the lodging for our family vacation. She said I did a great job! So John & Dianne, and Lake Haven get an A in my book. Just loved the location, close to Grand Lake but still quiet and peaceful. Loved the back deck, spent every evening on it enjoying the cool weather and view of Lake Granby and the mountains. Your home is spacious, well laid out and in great condition. Loved the spacious kitchen, with its large island and ample supplies. The pots, pans, appliances and the gas grill - all top notch. I especially liked that you had labeled all the electric switches around the house, so I didn't have to experiment and remember which switch went to what - a very unique and helpful idea. Also, the blackboard in the kitchen with all the helpful ideas and contact information, - good job! Dianne was very courteous and helpful, answering many questions prior to our arrival. She was very easy to get ahold of and promptly responded to any messages. The west side of RMNP is so much more peaceful than the over crowdedness of Estes Park, I would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well equipped. John and Dianne were so helpful every step of the process from initial booking to check out. They went above and beyond to answer questions and give suggestions when asked. They were very fast with responses. The house is in a great location close to RMNP with very cute towns nearby. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Lake View Have Heaven

The booking process, communication, and check in were all easy and smooth. The location is wonderful, there really is a lovely view of the lake. The cabin was equipped like a home from home and our hosts had most bases covered. Exceptional is the right word I think. We were all very happy there.

The perfect fit!

My family was SO impressed with this beautiful home. Fully stocked with everything you'd need. Something that surprised me was just how QUIET this area is. You won't get that anywhere else. It's so peaceful. We spent most the time out on the porch. It's beautiful views there and comfortable outside furniture. It's at a fantastic location. A beautiful drive up through the mountains from denver. Then it's just a few miles from the west entrance of the Rocky Mountains National Park. The trails on that side are nice and less crowded. We also saw FOUR moose out there, so I recommend staying on this side of the park. Anyway, I had also asked a few questions about the trip and what all was there in the kitchen...the owners replied very quickly and friendly. There are lots of windows to look out and open up to get the fresh mountain air. We're from Texas, so we soaked in every moment we could up there. Thanks so much for making our vacation so memorable and comfortable. I totally recommend this stay, they have EVERYTHING you could think of and more. It's your own little home for the time you rent it out. Thank you! :)
