Convenientemente ubicado en un corto paseo a la histórica ciudad de ROCHE HARBOR PARA RESTAURANTES FINOS, COMPRANDO Y CAMINANDO LOS DOCKS O JUGANDO EN LA PLAYA EN EL ISTHMUS, ESTE 2-BEDROOM, 2-BATH HOME TIENE MUCHO ESPACIO PARA NIÑOS, PARA JUGAR Y PERROS A ROMPARSE EN EL PATIO CERCADO.


Bonito plano de planta abierto para que las familias puedan estar juntas mientras cocinan en la cocina, juegan al futbolín en la sala de juegos o ven los deportes en la televisión en la sala de estar. La cocina abierta está totalmente equipada y con servicio a juego y dos sillas plegables adicionales tapizadas para asientos adicionales. No te preocupes por traer sal y pimienta. This property is lovely. The setting is quiet and peaceful and everything you could possibly need is there. It's a great place to walk and a quick drive to Roche Harbor.

Quiet getaway on San Juan

The house is immaculate and very homey. It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main roads. We loved the big kitchen and the laundry, as well as the living room with big windows.

Very quiet neighborhood, clean inviting rental. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Decor and living room was nicely done. Furnishings were new and very clean. Overall very happy with our stay.

Really close to Roche Harbor and beautiful yard with daily visits from deer. View across the way. A lot of open living space for a small family. We got in late and there is a statue on the front porch so we thought someone was home. (Note to future guests). Overall a great stay and would stay again. The only negative is that they asked us to start laundry and dishwasher and take out trash. If I didn't have to get up at 6am to catch the ferry, it wouldn't have been a big deal. But having to wake up early to do these things was a drag.

We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and the view of the water across the road. The one thing I did not enjoy was the lack of room darkening shades or curtins in the bedrooms. I was unable to sleep past 6am because of the light coming through the large windows.

House was private, spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked for an excellent stay. High-quality throughout, from the furniture to the beds to the kitchen. Bright fenced yard with a lovely patio, table, and BBQ let us enjoy the nice weather.Only note is on the bedrooms - while there's plenty of common space, this home would be slightly tight for 2 couples as the second bedroom is on the smaller side.

Perfect for our 5 lady long weekend getaway. The property is lovely and well maintained. The home is comfortable and very well stocked with everything needed to enjoy home away from home. All 5 of us felt the same way and would return for a stay in the future.

Wonderful and Comfortable San Juan Island House

Smooth check-in process. Excellent location, easy walking distance to Roche Harbor and Isthmus. Clean, comfortable and spacious house. Easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Well appointed and stocked kitchen, great for cooking and family gatherings. Nice view of bay from living room window. Well maintained and managed property. 5 Stars.

Very clean. Very well equiped kutchen. Nice table space for dinners with family. Nice view of the sound. Setting is lovely. There are alot of short levels and seniors need to watch their step. We loved the place, just a little disappointed that the fox didn't visit us...but the deer were there.

A very nice place to relax. The only drawback was the heat. Besides the ceiling fan in the living room, a small fan in each bedroom would have been nice!

Peaceful Country Stay/Awesome for dog owners

This was our first time to the San Juan Islands. The house is in the country and we saw plenty of deer. It is away from all the tourist action. This home is well prepared for dogs with a back entry from fenced in yard. Plenty of dog towels provided. The house had everything we needed. Gas grill was available for use, which we did. The house was clean and very welcoming. The owner suite had very high king size bed, we really appreciated the step stools on both sides. The bunk area in rec room worked for us but I could see with some children it maybe difficult as it is open to entire house. The bathrooms had no blinds which is fine as it faces wooded back yard however the lawn people came and some of us had to wait until they left to shower. They were longer than expected as they broke a patio glass door. We called property management and they handled it promptly. Property management was very professional and helpful prior to our stay and during. Would definitely book through them again. We had a wonderful vacation!!!

House was great trip could have been better.

Lovely house, well equipped, very modern and clean. Unfortunately, when booked the plan was to have five adults and a small dog. One of the adults got covid and had to bail out. The couple with the dog had travel issues and couldn't make it, leaving just my wife and I. All of that was bad enough then on our second day there my wife had a misstep (be careful of the step leading into the game room just inside the main entrance), she badly sprained her ankle such that walking was painful and difficult. She also strained some interstitial ribs muscle catching herself from the subsequent fall. Icing, taping, ibuprofen helped, but our plans to further explore the island were dashed. Rather than hanging around we figured convalescing and care for the ankle and rib muscles could be better handled at home, we were able to switch our ferry sailing day and departed a day early. Rather than three nights we were only there two nights. So a house large enough to comfortably accommodate six people only has two of us and our three night stay was truncated to just two night. In the end no matter how nice the house was (and it was very nice indeed) the trip was pretty much a bust.

The property was amazing. The accommodations were excellent, and the only thing that I would give critique on is the Landscaper was there for the entire day and because we did bring our dog it made it a little crazy. We had invited friends who are staying down at Roche Harbour to hang out for the afternoon and it was nice because there was plenty of seating and servingware. Having a little Alexa dot was a nice touch. We will definitely return again.

A Home With a View

It was beautifully decorated in transitional style with large windows that looked over an expansive front lawn and a view of the water, perfect for relation. The house was in both walking and driving distance of Roche Harbor, which was located up a main road from the house (walking took about 30 minutes one way). We chose to eat meals at the house, and the spacious kitchen had every dish or utensil that we needed. When we weren't at Roche Harbor we enjoyed relaxing at the house, sitting outside in the sunshine at the outside table or in the comfortable living room. We loved seeing a group of deer lounge on the front lawn each evening. We enjoyed the Victorian elegance of Roche Harbor, taking in a 3-hour sea kayaking tour one morning and sampling Lime Kiln donuts afterwards (both recommended!).

Our feedback

One problem was the editing of entry/exit code. It needs to be said to lock up, one hits the lock feature on the key pad twice. The WIFI PW was incorrect as well. Luckily, we figured things out. And ALL THOSE STAIRS! I was afraid someone would miss one and fall and break something. Our small dog enjoyed the yard very much. The partial view was lovely and it's very quiet there! Oh wait! why is the owners bed so dang high? Crazy because once again, I was worried about missing the step when I had to get up in the middle of the night.
