Disfrute de esta playa privada ubicada en la apertura de la bahía de Mitchell en el lado occidental de la isla de San Juan. Esta casa de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños es perfecta para familias o algunas parejas que desean relajarse y disfrutar de la vida isleña. NOTA: DESDE AHORA HASTA LA PRIMAVERA 2020 HABRÁ UN SITIO DE CONSTRUCCIÓN ACTIVA AL LADO DE ESTA PROPIEDAD. LA CONSTRUCCIÓN SERÁ DE MINIMO A NO EXISTENTE DURANTE ACCIÓN DE GRACIAS, NAVIDAD Y AÑO NUEVO.

Arriba, incluye una cama queen size, una habitación con literas con 3 literas (para 6) y un baño de 3/4. La planta principal tiene una cocina totalmente amueblada, gran salón y comedor. Además, en el piso principal se encuentra el segundo dormitorio con una cama queen size y un baño completo. Hay una barbacoa al aire libre, una gran terraza con muchos asientos con vistas a Open Bay y la isla de Vancouver.

La casa está idealmente ubicada y cerca de Roche Harbor y Friday Harbor. NOTA: DESDE AHORA HASTA LA PRIMAVERA 2020 HABRÁ UN SITIO DE CONSTRUCCIÓN ACTIVA AL LADO DE ESTA PROPIEDAD. LA CONSTRUCCIÓN SERÁ DE MINIMO A NO EXISTENTE DURANTE ACCIÓN DE GRACIAS, NAVIDAD Y AÑO NUEVO.

House was very clean and in a quiet area. The view was amazing and the house felt very homey which was nice on the days we were stuck indoors due to weather. Matresses were very comfortable, we slept very well here!
Trying to summon the orcas to us with some crafts on the patio during a rainy afternoon.

My son enjoyed the basketball court. We picked kale and strawberries from the garden to have with dinner one night. We had a visiting seal and even saw orcas from the deck one night. The only downside is the internet isn't very reliable or fast, but that's probably an island wide issue. I wouldn't depend on this internet if you were needing to work remotely while visiting.

Great spot and house

Only 2 issues were old sunken mattress in main floor bedroom, and tv not smart. Mattress on second floor bed is excellent, but on warm days it’s very warm up there. We don’t watch a lot of tv, but did want to watch a football game which was only available on espn+. Otherwise very happy with house and location.

Beautiful view!

The listing is spot on. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. Easy to put out kayak in from the beach. Nice gravel beach, easy access. It would be nice if there was a privacy hedge planted between the neighbors. One of the neighbors is the owner of the unit. Overall great stay.

It was wonderful to launch my surfski right there and paddle the haro straight. There are also calm areas to paddle to the left of the property. Great “base camp” with an easy drive to Lime Kiln and Friday harbor. Remote, quiet, very peaceful, and clean.

Great House!

We loved it - from beginning to end. The location was amazing - with the semi-private beach right in front of us - lovely sunsets. It had everything we needed - even a basketball court for our 3 boys (20, 17, and 14) ... who spent a fair amount of time playing there too. The only thing we would have liked better would have been the water pressure in the showers - especially the upstairs shower ... Don't know if there's a fix for that, but it was pretty whimpy .... but other than that, it was perfect. We'd definitely come back again! Thanks for taking good care of us! :-)

Birthday celebration

Great time, visited English Camp. Hiked to to scenic overlook about 1.7 miles. Great local food, celebrated my youngest’s 30th bd at Duck Soup. Saw 2 whales right off the properties beach! It was a great yomdd we with family.

Beautiful location

This was a beautiful location to stay at. The only thing we wished for was bigger beds. The internet was not reliable so working while visiting wouldn’t be possible, but with the views you wouldn’t want to work anyway. Beautiful home. The house was very clean and the location was very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for visiting family

We invited my nephew and his family to visit us on San Juan but our circumstances changed and I needed to find alternate housing for them. Having them in the Open Bay Beach was the perfect answer. They had a fabulous time and take away great memories of their visit.

Fantastic Location

The location really can't be beat. The beach is at your door, and its lovely. Convenient to Wescott, Roche, Lime Kiln, Mount Young and Grant, and the Alpacas. Town is just twenty minutes. One oddity: there were just four of us so the upstairs bathroom layout wasn't an issue. However, if there were another couple in the second bedroom upstairs, they would have to pass through the other upstairs bedroom when gong to use the bathroom. Should be a hallway with a door into the main bedroom. Great place though!

Island Retreat

Beautiful location and wonderful house with a lot of room. The deck overlooking the water was absolutely unbeatable and being able to take steps down to the shoreline was really nice. Very relaxing!!

Terrible shower water pressure

Beautiful property, location, scenery. It was around 90 degrees the first 2 days and i asked about a fan. I told property management i would have to go to ACE and buy a box fan myself, they never responded or offered to bring one, therefore we bought a $50 box fan. The water pressure in the showers is amost null, to the point it needs attention. Pressure is good in sinks and toilets. Otherwise it was a lovely stay in every other way.
