This was our second visit, and everything was just as lovely as last time! The location and outdoor space can't be beat, and the house had everything we needed to enjoy time with the family. We'll be back!

Fully stocked and awesomely located lake house. Close to boat rental, restaurants, all the highway yet secluded and quiet in a nice size cove. Highly recommend for families and folks who want to stay on the Auburn side of the lake. War Eagle!

Relaxing and perfect location

Very nice place we will definitely he backLove number of pillows on beds Enough chairsOrganized and labeled so helpful Instructions helpful but back door unlocking Instructions with check in Instructions Kitchen was well equipped Loved the coffee pot Floaties provided which was great For a lake house that size another refrigerator would be good. Also another trash can outside would have been great. We plan to stay again.

Family fun!

Great house— comfortable furniture and lots of places inside and outside to sit and relax. Pictures are accurate. Decorated like a “true” lake house. Kitchen had what we needed to make meals. And it’s a big nice grill. The covered dock is excellent and having a lily pad was a huge plus. The Grandma” of the group had a hard time getting into/out of water with the ladder so be aware if you’re 70 plus. Owner was very helpful. You won’t be disappointed at this rental

House not as described at all

The outside of the house is great and in a good location. The inside of the house is horrible!! I should have questioned it when they didn’t have a picture of the kitchen. Being a lake long weekend. We brought everything to cook. The kitchen was horrible!!! Nothing really worked and it is still stocked from the 80s. No real pots, cutting boards, measuring cups or utensils. It has a small refrigerator. The stove/oven did not work great. If you are only looking for a bed to sleep this is the place for you but if you are looking for family time to hang out and cook, you will be very upset. The amount of “stuff” around the house is insane. We brought my elderly mom and the amount of tripping hazards was crazy!!!! I would not book unless you want to go and only sleep.

Great Location and Lots of Space

Everything was great. Only negative is that the outside decks and gazebo needed cleaning. Lots of spider webs, hornet nest underneath swing, and windows needed cleaning. Just looked like no one had been there for a while. All else was fantastic. Exactly what we needed for a family getaway.

Spring Break & Auburn Visit

Great place to stay for our family of 5 on a visit to Auburn. Plenty of room to spread out. The views from the dock are absolutely gorgeous. Enjoyed a day on the lake with a boat rental from Southern Boat Rentals. Great dinner at Prime Steakhouse located in the Stillwater Country Club and fun lunch watching March Madness games at Niffer’s. Only thing that would make this house better is a television on the mail level (there’s only one in the house and it’s on the bottom floor) and the addition of a backyard fire pit!

Lovely property, gorgeous location

We really enjoyed our time here. The location was just wonderful, we enjoyed sitting on the back porch and dock and watching the world go by. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location on Lake Martin

This VRBO is on a cove which enables safe swimming. Large dock. The house is roomy with lots of seating and places to have a cozy chat. The kitchen was well equipped. The furnishings are "cottage" which we found charming and the house was clean as a whistle. Our three family gathering was so much fun. We can't wait to return.

Peaceful weeks in the Lake House

Our family spent 3 1/2 peaceful weeks in the Lake House on Lake Martin. The house was very clean upon arrival and had pretty much everything we needed. (Don't forget to bring your own bathing towels for swimming though). The location ist very good (near Dadeville and just a minute or two away from the new Lake Martin grocery which has a very big selection of groceries) and the view beautiful. This house comes highly recommended. The whole family loved it (we have 3 adult children).

Lovely Lake Living

This was the perfect house for a long weekend on Lake Martin! There is plenty of room inside & out for families to enjoy lake-life activities. We took our boat out every day, fished, swam, cooked, played corn hole & just enjoyed spending time with family that we don't get to do often!

Family getaway

We love this lake house and would love to come back, they had everything we needed. The upper deck was our favorite part, it was cooler up there and we could just relax. I would recommend to anyone!

Amazing house

The house was great. Quite cove. Some traffic out on the main channel but just enough to keep it enjoyable. Cozy cabin interior. Two great porches to enjoy your coffee in the morning or your drink in the evening. I wish I had booked it for longer.

Lake House Graduation

We were in town for the Auburn graduation. The house was clean, with plenty of room, especially on the decks and the dock. Check in/check out instructions were very simple, and the info binder had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Great value compared to hotels in Auburn, especially at graduation time.

Laid back style

Great property! Lots of room to spread out inside, but you’ll really stay outside most of the time. The upper and lower decks are fantastic, with enough comfortable seating for everyone (23 seats total, not including 4 on the covered dock). We sat and watched boats, birds, and relaxed in the Adirondack chairs. Plus, zero bugs/mosquitos! Don’t know how you accomplished that, but thanks. Easy check-in and check-out. Very clean too. 30 minutes from downtown Auburn, and great restaurants within 5 minutes from house. Will definitely return.

A little taste of Heaven

Grew up coming to Lake Martin in the late 1960's. The property is a home but has the rustic feel of a cabin. The lot with all the trees, waterfront and wildlife reminds me of the lake long ago. The weather was gorgeous and the water like glass. Very relaxing and had time to unwind and enjoy.

Family Time

House was great, beautiful deck and view. Parking was a little tight, could not park my truck and boat trailer at house. Other than that, everything was great.
