Pet area was ok. Location was great! Cute cottage on outside but inside was back to the 50's. Washer and dryer was in master bedroom closet, tiny kitchen and had to make up our beds after a long and tiring ride. Master bath was so tiny my husband had to use the toilet in other bathroon, the toilet paper was so close he couldn't sit down. What was the worse was there was a huge handful of dog hair at the kitchen door, evidently from previous renters. We left 2 days early from our three week vacation.

Four Years in a row! Our favorite place to stay.

This gem is our favorite getaway!! Atlantic Beach is our once a year vacation and we look so forward to staying at this house All year long ! We have stayed here four years in a row and we don’t ever want to stay anywhere else. It’s a charming , very clean and nicely decorated house . It’s PERFECT for kids and adults! We are so grateful that it’s pet friendly and the yard is so nice and it’s completely fenced in . We love that we are right at the beach and we can walk to go to breakfast, lunch and dinner . Beds are comfy, showers are great and this adorable home is stocked with everything you need ! We are already looking forward to next year . The hosts are so kind and caring and the neighbors are nice too ! We hope to come back and make memories for many years to come .

This rental was the perfect size for my husband, myself and our dog. And a great location (so close) to the beach and lots of great restaurants and fun things to do! It was very clean, and the front porch & fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. We would definitely stay here again! The kitchen is stocked to the T. The only thing I would say as a con is the spare bath shower is pretty small and needs more lighting. But other than that, all was terrific.

Fantastic Family Get-Away Property

We only had one slight issue during our 4 day stay, but it was handled almost immediately and with a very pleasant attitude. The host was very apologetic and went over and beyond rectifying the issue. I would not hesitate to stay there again and would definitely recommend! (and I feel sure that our future stays will include this property). Great proximity to the beach and pier even for us "older" folks". I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did!

Always Wonderful

We were so happy to be back to our favorite rental. We had a wonderful vacation and we hope to spend our vacations here for many years to come . Everything is fully stocked , well thought out and immaculate. Perfect location just steps from the beach and we walked to Tackle Box tavern at least three times . We just love this place and the hosts .

A Break in May

This is my second stay at this property - lovely home - great location - gated yard for furry family - front porch for fresh air, reading, coffee, cocktails… can’t go wrong by visiting Atlantic Beach and staying here.

Easy beach access

Great place for a small group. Just right for our group of 4 adults . Easy beach access, just a half block away. It had everything we needed. Large front porch for sitting and leaving beach chairs on. Nice backyard fenced for pet safety and big enough for kids to play.

Family Vacation

The location was amazing!! Super close to beach. Only downfall was that there were no beach chairs available. We came in from NJ and had to buy beach chairs. A house at the beach that’s a rental should provide beach chairs. We didn’t come to watch tv but was looking to watch football at night and the tv did not work. We contacted owner and was told to contact Dish to resolve the issue. On vacation we are not going to spend our time calling cable company and spend time on the phone with them. The cable didn’t work all week. The bed linens; pillows and mattress pad covers should be replaced. Overall we had a good experience but there were some things that needed attention.

Great place at the beach!

Family vacation with our dog. The fenced in backyard was a life saver and proximity to beach and restaurants was wonderful.

Great place to stay

The place was neat and clean. The yard was perfect for our fur family member. Felt very safe and enjoyed the very short walk to the beach. Will more than likely try to return. Loved it.

I can not speak highly enough of this place! It was great for my infant granddaughter as well as our dog. And just steps away from the beach! It was perfect for us!

Not a handicapped home

Sure was easy getting my husband who is permanently in a wheel chair into the home. But not in the bathroom. All because you have a grab bar up does not make it handicapped assessable! He had to wake me up so I could wake my son up several times a night to get him into the bathroom because the wheel chair would not fit through the door. You need to widen your doors to me it a handicapped home. The floors in the home when we first got there were very sandy and could tell they had not been cleaned in some time.

Great location to beach

Had a nice time at the beach. It is a very close to the beach which is helpful when bringing a lot of sand toys and chairs and towels etc... Very close to local restaurants and aquarium. The fenced in yard was a great area for our dogs to run around in and also plenty of places to walk the dogs too. The house is cozy and well kept. Overall we had a great time here.

Better than advertised!

What a lovely and comfortable beach house! We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the gated front porch and cocktails in the evening in the fenced backyard while we threw a ball for the dogs. Very quiet dead end street. A two minute walk and our toes were in the water. The house was spotless! The kitchen was well supplied and equipped; the bedding very comfortable. Jamie and Betty were great to work with, warm and welcoming, quick to respond. We would definitely rent again.

Awesome rental

Needing a 4-night rental for brief stay, this house was perfect. VRBO description is accurate and owners are incredibly responsive. Lots of comfortable seating and well-appointed kitchen. Despite no ocean view, the walk to the beach is very short, and the neighborhood is so quiet the ocean can be heard from the front porch. The only challenge with this house is the absence of an electrical outlet in one bathroom so bring a handheld mirror to use when drying hair. I wound absolutely rent this house again and strongly recommend!

We loved it!

We absolutely loved this property!! It was perfect for our family and the hosts were incredible to work with. We had issues with internet initially and they walked us through how to fix it and afterwards worked perfectly the entire time we were there. She even sent the housekeeper back to restock some little things we would need for the week! It was such a short walk to the beach and was conveniently located to everything we wanted to go and do!! We will definitely look to book this home again.

Atlantic Beach Cottage

Very cute house, exceptional location for what we were looking for: close walk to the beach, close drive to restaurants, shopping, etc. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, we were happy with this rental and hated to leave! Thanks for a great experience in Atlanatic Beach- we hope to return next year!

Great Time!

This house was great. Was just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Beds were very comfortable. The fenced in backyard was a plus if you have dogs . Will rent again.

Great family getaway

The house was very clean and had everything you need. It was super close to beach access which was great for getting our kids down for naps in the middle of the day. Would definitely stay here again!
