Family vacation much enjoyed!

Great location! Many needs were within walking distance. We only left in the car once during our 6 day stay. Beautiful view and easy beach access! Would definitely recommend this property for a family vacation.

Wonderful stay

Our stay was great! It was pretty chilly most days but the heated pools and hot tubs took care of any boredom we had. Condo was great.

Great location

Great location. It needs higher bar stools or more chairs for eating and updated chairs on the patio. They were about to break. The host was responsive when needed.

Great Location

They were doing renovations so the noise level was pretty high during the day. The condo itself could use some updating but was decent for my family of 3. Our water wasnt working when we arrived but the property manager responded quick and got it fixed within 10 minutes. Great guest service 👌

The stay was nice. Its a little trouble getting around with all the elevators, escalators, and stairs, but not too bad. The room was nice. It could have used another sofa or love seat in the living room area. The door to the armoire in the bed room had broken hinge and was slightly dangerous because it was very close to falling off. The shower works, but the ceiling is really low and the shower head was super loud. If you're over 6ft it could be an issue. The amenities are awesome. Both pools are great and my favorite part was the gym. It had everything you need for a great workout other than a barbell, but with 2 full cable machine stacks and dumbells up to 50lbs, you can get it done. Plenty of cardio equipment as well.

What a view!!

The condo was clean and right on the beach. The only very small issue was the balcony furniture what not the best and that is where you want to spend the majority of your time. Otherwise....AMAZING!!!

Incredible view

The view was the best part about the room, but the only thing I would have to say negative is that I wish there was better seating on the balcony, the seats had holes in them , and the wooden chairs was very wobbly and it felt like I was about to hit the ground every time I sat down. But other than that very clean , great location and plenty of things to do with kids .

Balcony and elevator

Condo clean. Balcony furniture needs replacing. Two of the elevators down the whole week. Everything else was good. Beautiful weather and enjoyed stay.

Old furniture and TERRIBLE bed!! Very dark unit, needed more lighting. Small TV. Only 2 chairs at dining table - glad there were on 2 of us. Minuscule bathroom. Wine glasses but no corkscrew. Parking spaces were extremely small- many people struggled to fit into a space.

Very disappointed!

Patio chairs not like in picture, instead wobbly wooden ones. Had to buy chairs to sit in! Furniture not as in picture, bar stools too short, cold water, toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Had to have new water heater a 5 hour job, maintenance to replace parts in toilet. Bathroom dirty baseboards, mold around soap dish, & tub, light switch shorting out luckily 2 switches. Last night water all over kitchen floor coming from icemake had to turn off. Fire alarm in two pieces, required new one. Had several roaches, Definitely not worth what we paid! Second worst room we have had in our 25 years going to PCB.

Horrible mattress and minimal air conditioning

I received my pre-check-in email and was warned not to turn the air conditioning below 72 because it would freeze. We keep our home air conditioning 68, so I knew going in this would be an issue. It was hot, and I made the best of it. The mattress was atrocious. In hindsight I wish I would have looked for the manufacture date on it. I would guess the ’90s. My body is still aching two days later. Several of the electrical receptors do not work. No big deal... Unless you plug your phone in expecting it to be charged in the morning and have to wait an extra hour to leave the condo to charge it. The toilet was clogged on arrival and continued to clog for no apparent reason. Nobody wants to plunge on vacation....yuck. There were only four towels, but it's advertised to sleep six people. I emailed the property manager yesterday to give a heads up on the issues and have not received a response. Also, no outside coolers allowed into the pool area. The location was good and staff were friendly.

We had a great stay condo was absolutely amazing.

The only thing and it wasn't totally bad was they could use a new toaster...because it only toast bread on one side then you have to flip the bread the other way to toast both sides...other than that no complaints wonderful please to stay.

Pictures don’t do it justice

We had a wonderful time. This was our first time staying at this resort and being in Panama. We loved it and will definitely be back. I was a little nervous about the condo based on the reviews but the owners were great and the condo was wonderful. They seemed to take all of the suggestions because the condo was updated and the master bedroom bed was newer then in the pictures. I would actually say they need to redo their photos because it doesn’t show how much better the condo looks. The red couch is gone replaced with a new gray pull out and the walls are light grayish white. The current photos don’t do the unit justice. But it was a wonderful stay.

Nice and courteous.

Very nice people in general. My only complaint is seeing the lines of rental chairs and umbrellas. It would be better if they were arranged randomly and not 3 long rows that block the ocean view at beach level. Owner was very attentive and responded quickly to questions. Condo was comfortable and clean. Appliances worked well. Thank you, Mr. Nguyen.

Great place to stay

The condo is located beachfront with a great view. So enjoyable to have coffee on the balcony, slip on a bathing suit, and head out to a fun day on the beach! White sand, and not crowded. The owners were easy to contact and quick to respond. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels/linens. Will return to Emerald Beach Resort in the future!

Great Beachfront Property

We enjoyed our stay very much with a wonderful view of the ocean and gorgeous sunsets. Communication with the owners was great and we had all the information we needed for a smooth arrival. We took advantage of the added special for use of the beach chairs and umbrella on the resort beachfront, which was so nice and convenient. The condo was comfortable and the location was great for surrounding restaurants and shopping.

relaxing

We enjoy our stay very much. the beach view was great and being short walk to the Starbucks was great. It was nice not having to check after a long car ride. the only small problem was we found a few dishes dirty in the cabinet but I think that was because of the dish washer and it can easily happen.

Much less than we expected

The property did not seem ready for our stay. It seemed as though no one had inspected it recently. Broken ice maker, toaster worked on one side only, deck furniture broken, large cans of paint and tools stored in the only closet were removed after 2 contacts and 2 days. Plumbing maintenance in our condo 4 days in a row working on a shower problem effecting the unit below us. The last day a plumber woke us up at 7:45 a.m. with no advanced notice to begin working on a our shower. This unit had only one bathroom. We notified the manager and were moved only after we told them were leaving. Lost time of our precious vacation.

Enjoyable!

I’ve stayed at Emerald Beach plenty of times and this was by far the easiest check-in. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. There are a few things that could be updated throughout the condo, but overall it’s a nice stay if you’re a small family of 4!
