La carpintería exuda el arte refinado de Fredericksburg. The Best Stay!!!

I try to stay here on every trip to Fredericksburg. It's within walking distance of dining, shopping and entertainment. The bed is very comfortable which gives you a great nights sleep. The bathroom is very nice size with two sinks and a walk-in shower. Highly recommend staying here A+++++

Awesome Cottage

I can't say enough about how great this cottage is. A great location on W. Main Street. The bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is very roomy with two separate sinks and a walk in shower. The large front porch is an added bonus. You can sit out and watch the traffic on Main Street. I've stayed here more times than I can count and have loved every visit here. Highly recommend A+++++

Good

Just get the AC kicking out Cold Air and the the blower working better or new unit! Our Friends The Muldrew's who we traveled with had the big unit next to us across the parking lot! With 2 rooms ! Their AC was freezing and working perfect! We will stay in the same room 23 next yr because we loved everything about it if the AC is working better!

My Favorite Place to Stay in Fredericksburg

I can't begin to tell you how great this cottage is. The bed is amazingly comfortable. Large bathroom with walk-in shower and two sinks. Very comfortable place to stay. It is within walking distance of all the shopping, dining and wine tasting your heart desires. Highly recommended!!

No Fireplace / Bathroom fan not working

Just not happy that our fireplace was missing, when everyone in our group had one in their room at the same property. Also the bathroom fan/vent did not work. Other than those two issues it was a nice unit and bed was comfortable.

Poor experience

Your property location online looks quaint and inviting. Had we known the location on Main street was such a busy, noisy street, we would not have booked here. The fact that there was street construction going on didn't help the noise factor. However, the most disappointing fact was you provided an antiquated coffee maker with a partially used container of old coffee. We were expecting a Kuerig since that was in the description of the property. Consequently, we had to leave the property every morning to get coffee. When I called to inquire about a coffee maker, I was told you couldn't accommodate me. Your bedding was great and the pillows were fantastic! But, because of the noisy street and the lack of coffee accommodations, we won't stay here again.

The rooms are very large and very nice with large walk-in showers. The manager was very accommodating when we asked to change room due to the street noise. She moved us to a very nice room by the pool. Very nice room, great manager, very enjoyable stay

2nd visit- Celebrating our Anniversary

I loved my stay here! We were celebrating our 9th anniversary. The location is perfect, just a short drive to Main Street. The pool is amazing – clean and relaxing with plenty of comfy lounge chairs. One suggestion: it would be awesome if you offered discounts or perks for returning guests. Overall, a fantastic spot for a relaxing adult-only getaway. Highly recommend!

Fantastic spot

This is a great spot. Property, pool, hot tub...all very nice and clean. We stayed in 'Our Thyme' and found it to be very comfortable and well appointed...and loved the big front porch! Easy check in/out as well. Easy walk to town. I'd recommend this place to anyone...all of the cabins are cute and clean.

Located on Main Street, but several blocks west of the busy downtown area, this small BnB hotel was perfect. Pool and hot tub were clean and very enjoyable. Room (#23 "Our Thyme" was spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend it, and we will definitely stay here again.

Main Street Casita

We booked for 4 nights and the check in process was smooth and easy. The property was clean overall. The dish rag was a little dirty and a couple cups still had lipstick on them but overall the apt was clean, nice shower, nice bathroom, bed was comfy overall, internet, cable tv, and walking distance to a lot of places. The pool was clean and nice temperature. The only negative was the few items in the kitchen that needed a little better cleaning and the traffic on the street. Highway 290 is a busy street and a truck route. Trucks run through all hours so be prepared for that. This unit faces the street. I bought earplugs at Walgreens after the first night. And we slept fine overall. I would recommend this place.

Our Thyme

Everything we expected and could possibly ask for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Main Street Retreat and it will definitely be a top choice next time. One little, itty-bitty "suggestion" for you. The pool needs a tad better maintenance program. I was looking forward to enjoying it, but the appearance of the water and bottom of the pool was a bit uninviting. Other than that, we loved it and would definitely stay there again! THANK-YOU!!

Nice and cozy

I was a great experience except for some minor inconveniences. The keurig did not have a filter and was not in working condition. And by that I mean it didn't turn on at all. I took my own coffee only for it not to work. The AC unit NEVER turns off. So if you can deal with the unit always being on then you should be fine. Other than that, everything was great. We were by the highway and despite some negative reviews about that, it didn't bother us one bit. It was not noisy at all and it was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough to walk down the street to buy some coffee. I would stay there again.

Our Thyme for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Main Street Retreat in the Our Thyme room. Very charming and homey. We used the pool and hot tub which were soothing. The grounds are well kept. The road noise is loud at times but didn't bother us. The staff was at every beck and call to assist us.

Favorite Place when Traveling Solo

When traveling to Fredericksburg solo, there's no place I'd rather stay. Our Thyme cottage is in a great location on Main Street. The room is very inviting. The bed is extremely comfortable. Bathroom has plenty of room. I can't recommend this cottage enough! Large front porch to sit out in the late evenings or early mornings and watch the traffic drive past. Love love love this cottage!!!
