La carpintería exuda el arte refinado de Fredericksburg. The Best Stay!!!

I try to stay here on every trip to Fredericksburg. It's within walking distance of dining, shopping and entertainment. The bed is very comfortable which gives you a great nights sleep. The bathroom is very nice size with two sinks and a walk-in shower. Highly recommend staying here A+++++

Awesome Cottage

I can't say enough about how great this cottage is. A great location on W. Main Street. The bed is so comfortable and the bathroom is very roomy with two separate sinks and a walk in shower. The large front porch is an added bonus. You can sit out and watch the traffic on Main Street. I've stayed here more times than I can count and have loved every visit here. Highly recommend A+++++

Just get the AC kicking out Cold Air and the the blower working better or new unit! Our Friends The Muldrew's who we traveled with had the big unit next to us across the parking lot! With 2 rooms ! Their AC was freezing and working perfect! We will stay in the same room 23 next yr because we loved everything about it if the AC is working better!

My Favorite Place to Stay in Fredericksburg

I can't begin to tell you how great this cottage is. The bed is amazingly comfortable. Large bathroom with walk-in shower and two sinks. Very comfortable place to stay. It is within walking distance of all the shopping, dining and wine tasting your heart desires. Highly recommended!!

Perfect location for enjoying all that Fredericksburg has to Offer!

Located on Main Street, but several blocks west of the busy downtown area, this small BnB hotel was perfect. Pool and hot tub were clean and very enjoyable. Room (#23 "Our Thyme" was spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend it, and we will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic spot

This is a great spot. Property, pool, hot tub...all very nice and clean. We stayed in 'Our Thyme' and found it to be very comfortable and well appointed...and loved the big front porch! Easy check in/out as well. Easy walk to town. I'd recommend this place to anyone...all of the cabins are cute and clean.

The rooms are very large and very nice with large walk-in showers. The manager was very accommodating when we asked to change room due to the street noise. She moved us to a very nice room by the pool. Very nice room, great manager, very enjoyable stay

2nd visit- Celebrating our Anniversary

I loved my stay here! We were celebrating our 9th anniversary. The location is perfect, just a short drive to Main Street. The pool is amazing – clean and relaxing with plenty of comfy lounge chairs. One suggestion: it would be awesome if you offered discounts or perks for returning guests. Overall, a fantastic spot for a relaxing adult-only getaway. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property close to town

Wonderful property close to town. Nice little cottage very comfortable. Beautiful bathroom excellent shower. Some straight traffic but didn’t disturb her sleep. Enjoy the hot tub and a cold evening. We will stay here again.

This was the cutest little place. Perfect location, spacious, very clean. There is a good size mini fridge, a coffee pot, and microwave. We absolutely loved our porch area! The road noise at night was not bad at all, there is a sound machine in the room which was really awesome. I will definitely stay here again.

Great getaway place

This was a great place to stay as it was very close to Main Street for all the bars/restaurants/shops. The room was perfect and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. The only drawback was that our specific house was right on the road and the cars were so loud going by. I would definitely stay again but would prefer to be towards the back next time.

Our Thyme for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at Main Street Retreat in the Our Thyme room. Very charming and homey. We used the pool and hot tub which were soothing. The grounds are well kept. The road noise is loud at times but didn't bother us. The staff was at every beck and call to assist us.

Excellent Experience

Couldn't have asked for better! Perfect, private and adorable space for my husband and I. We actually locked ourselves out (hubby did it 😂) and Absolute Charm replied via email promptly to resolve. We stayed 2 nights in chilly October. Hot tub was great. Honestly only thing I would ask to change is get a keurig. I would definitely stay again!

Cute cottage and great location.

Everything was as expected from online. Clean, bed was very comfortable. Our unit was in the front on the road. Traffic noise was not bad at all. I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend . We will be back.

Our Thyme

I absolutely loved our unit. It was adorable. Very clean and spacious. The sound machine was hit and a great addition. There is a coffee pot with filters and Folgers coffee. While it is in Main Street, it is quite a far walk from “downtown”at least for us it was. We would drive a a few blocks and park. But that was perfectly fine. The hot tub was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

No Fireplace / Bathroom fan not working

Just not happy that our fireplace was missing, when everyone in our group had one in their room at the same property. Also the bathroom fan/vent did not work. Other than those two issues it was a nice unit and bed was comfortable.

Our Thyme

Everything we expected and could possibly ask for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Main Street Retreat and it will definitely be a top choice next time. One little, itty-bitty "suggestion" for you. The pool needs a tad better maintenance program. I was looking forward to enjoying it, but the appearance of the water and bottom of the pool was a bit uninviting. Other than that, we loved it and would definitely stay there again! THANK-YOU!!
