We will be back

We had a great stay at 16 Urchin Ct. Sunset Captiva is a beautiful complex and this house was very comfortable (the house layout and beds were great). The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking pans and utensils. You will need to bring your own cooking items (oil, cooking spray, etc) as there are none in the house. There were a few dishwasher pods but not enough for a weeks stay. They have towels (shower and beach) but you’ll need your own laundry detergent and extra paper towels and toilet paper They had beach umbrellas, a wagon for hauling items to the beach, chairs, and sand toys. There is no outdoor shower as stated but there is a hose for using after the beach. It’s a stones throw from the pool and tennis courts and within walking distance to restaurants and extremely close to the beach. We would stay here again. Captiva is truly amazing!

It was updated, clean and just perfect, especially with first floor bedroom. The house was just across from the community pool, tennis and pickle ball court and a short walk to the beach. The screened in porch was surrounded by tropical foliage and was cozy and inviting. The house was well stocked and beach supplies plentiful, along with a beach cart! it was nicely landscaped and the outdoor spaces were appreciated - under house, multiple balconies, and screened in porch. Kitchen was up to date.

This property was in close proximity to the pool and beach but the carpets and upholstered furniture are in dire need of a deep cleaning. The 1st floor shower drain needed daily unclogging and the 2nd floor shower had some mold.Outdoor furniture is very worn and soiled.

Beautiful and comfortable Captiva home!

This beautiful Captiva home has everything you need to enjoy time in paradise with friends or family! The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space to gather as well as spots to curl up and read. Beach chairs and toys were abundant. George the on site handy man does an excellent job keeping everyone happy and the grills and pool area looking great. Beach access is fantastic. Only bummer was tennis courts being redone, but will be up and running soon w pickle courts. We will be back for sure!

Reviewer Comments: House complex extremely clean and tidy, pool area spotless and always checked on by maintenance crew multiple times a day, bbq’s cleaned every morning, house that we rented was perfect, issue with sliding glass door and was promptly dealt with, also any supplies that were running out of for our two week stay was replenished immediately, I really can’t say enough about all the crew that works on this property, they were amazing!

I wish they used digital door locks instead of keys as only one key was initially provided although we got a second one on Tuesday from the office (office was closed Saturday evening when we arrived and didn't open until Tuesday because of the holiday). Our A/C stopped working on Monday afternoon (holiday) but got in touch with Albert at American Realty and he managed to have technicians there within an hour to repair it. Would definitely rent with them again!

Had a great stay. Perfectly centered between the beach and the town center. Yards from the pool and grills. Spacious home for 6 people (bonus loft with 2 twins plus the two bedrooms listed). Big upper floor sun deck for afternoon sun. We made use of the available beach chairs and umbrellas. The shed had beach toys, coolers, and wagon available also. Arrangements and entry were seamless. Near record temps made for a great week at the beach. We received all that was advertised. We hope to stay here again.
