We take our guests safety seriously therefore, we have implemented measures to protect our guests. This property is professionally cleaned and sanitized between every visit. This spacious elevated open floor plan 2 bedroom 2 bath home with striking views of the lower Guadalupe river. Home is at the top of the lot looking down on the river. Beautiful views from all the windows facing the river. Wake up to the views and the natural wildlife. Lots of deer and beautiful scenery. Beautiful wood deck on the river with swim ladder nestled under huge cypress trees on the river. Great spot to hang out with family and friends. After a long day at the river sit by the fire enjoy the stars and roast smores! Plenty of space to camp. Beautiful night time sky's filled with stars and fire flies. Enjoy the top deck and the nice cool breeze off the river at night.

Water Toys included! 3 man Canoe, kayak, SUP, and inner tubes! We are not too far up river from Whitewater and popular tube spots. Plenty put in at the dam too. Put in at the dam and float to Maricopa! Boat and Jet Ski Rentals available. Canyon Lake Adventures 830.832.4155.

Fishing Poles Included. Tents in Closet

Home has full kitchen with amenities , washer, dryer, grill, internet, WiFi, TV with Netflix and a grill on the homes upper wood deck. JBL Boombox also available for use.

2 bedrooms plus quiet space for air mattresses or cots included for the kids or tents for camping included! Sleeps 6 Comfortably 8 if you use couch.

Be sure if you are bringing your fur baby to include the pet cleaning fee.

Cancellation Policy:
No cancellation for weather. Cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival will get a full refund minus the processing fee. Cancellations 15-30 days prior to arrival will receive 50% refund minus the processing fee. No refunds within 14 days of arrival. The processing fee is $75.

Beautiful, Quiet, & Convenient

This is an amazing location with great river access. Very tranquil but with a convenient location to amenities in town. Property owner provided canoe and paddleboard for exploring the river.

Thanksgiving trip

Pretty location on the river. Too cold to utilize all the river toys but looked like it would be fun during the summer. House was sufficient for our needs, new appliances and HVAC that worked well. Kitchen was well stocked. Needs some light maintenance and a thorough cleaning, though.

River vacation

Nice peaceful stay on river full of relaxation and solitary Tied floats to pier and took mourning naps each day until the ducks showed Restraunt's all were nice and pleasant Bed also comfortable with nice shower Overall a good time and will be back next summer

Nice quiet place on the Guadalupe River

We stayed for a weekend of fun and a Turnpike Troubadours concert at Whitewater Amphitheater (not quite walking distance, but very close). This listing was nice and dog friendly. We made hamburgers on the gas grill. Check out the nearby pizza restaurant, which was excellent. The riverfront is very pretty. Thanks for a great weekend.

The house and location are amazing and we would definitely rent this place again. The extras like a garage and boats and floats really made this place a no brainer. The river had almost zero current due to the Exceptional Drought they have been experiencing in the area. However I enjoyed not having to be picked up or dropped off up or down stream. We actually just floated out in front of the home and soaked up the sun for hours and then right on to the deck that’s in the water and sat there for even longer under the beautiful trees. Amazingly enough, due to its close proximity below the dam, the water was plenty deep to swim in. I was quite surprised by the water depth here. Our only regret was that we didn’t have longer to stay there. You really need at least 4-5 days minimum to unwind especially if you are coming in from a long ways away as we did. We would definitely rent this place again. The house is laid out nicely and just about everything you need to make yourself at home is there for you to cook etc. We’ve already made plans to go back next year and to be honest anytime of the year would work as a vacation spot here. Deer are everywhere in the neighborhood and that also was special to all in the group!

Property is nice, sleeps 8 comfortably and a few things had issues but they should correct them all soon. Just needs to be maintained more often. Refrigerator needs replaced or fixed, spent a day without ac and ceiling fan didn’t work in one of the bedrooms. Light is out in of the bathrooms as well. They should compensate us since we had to be without ac for a day

Nice property

We have traveled to Canyon Lake for three summers and we were sad to see the water level drop so much. It seemed like the Guadalupe River is a bit murky this year. The house was just as it was described. Quiet location with lots of deer running around. The water was so cold!!

House and river were great. River is perfect for swimming, SUP, floating. House is about 2 min drive to tube the horse shoe They had all the water toys you need. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Property

The photos don’t do the river view justice. The backyard/river is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and our 2 kids (10 & 12) rented it for a lazy riverside week and we all had a great time. The kids paddle boarded, we all canoed, and we rented a pontoon boat on the lake. The backyard was full of wildlife and the kids loved the fireflies that lit up at night. Definitely worth it!

Best Stay in the Area!

This was our third time staying at this house. It is absolutely perfect. AND we are going back two more times this year. It is exactly as the pictures show. Whether just 2 people or all 6, it's hands down the best house we've ever stayed in for the river. It is directly on the river with very easy access. A gently sloped hill leads down to a nice deck with ladder access to the water. It's above the horseshoe so it's not as crowded as the rest of the river. Less than a 5 mile drive to White Water/The Horseshoe. Clean, spacious, pet friendly, well stocked, and GREAT location!! And the neighbor is super sweet, so be nice to her! This is our place from here on out. You won't regret staying here!!

Great spot on the river. Hanging on the dock is as relaxing as it looks. Convenient location for any needs. Short drive to Wimberly/Gruene/New Braunfels. The host is nice and easy to reach.

The place was awesome, I just have a small note. Two of the bedsheets, were stained with blood, it looked old, but it is not good business politics to provide the guest with stain bedroom wear.

Fantastic place for a relaxing get-away

The property/location/amenities were exactly as listed. This property is such a great place for a nice relaxing getaway, we just wish we could’ve stayed longer! Being right on the river, you couldn’t ask for anything more peaceful! Will certainly look at booking this property again!
