Escapada perfecta al lago Almanor! Bienvenido a una cabaña de vacaciones familiares de 3 dormitorios y 3 baños. Una habitación king, una habitación queen y una habitación litera con 2 reinas y 2 gemelas. Reúna a sus familias para tener buenos recuerdos. La cabina está justo al lado de Rec. 2 playa que ofrece muchas comodidades, incluyendo; plataforma de baño, parque infantil, barbacoas, mesas de picnic y lanzamiento de botes. A solo unos pasos de la playa! Disfrute de un café por las mañanas y cócteles por la tarde en una terraza gigante equipada para barbacoas familiares al aire libre de pescado fresco. great cabin

Very nice cabin in a quiet section of the lake. Convenience of being only steps away from the beach and swimming area. We had a boat and the dock was really close too, which made it nice and easy. Nice upgrades to the home and accommodated our group of 7 very nicely. Owners were great with communication. Would highly recommend this cabin!

Very cute remodeled cabin. Great location across rec center so very convenient. There was lots of activity going on in the area but most of the time not a problem. Owners extremely nice and available. Having security going around was niceLake Almanor area is a wonderful recreational lake and a place to return. Thank you for great family memories we have created here.

Beautiful Cabin by Rec 2

We stayed at the cabin with a group of 4 adults and 5 kids, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location was ideal-our kids loved being able to run down to Rec 2 to hang out and set up their crawdad traps, all while the adults relaxed and made dinner on the beautiful deck. The AC was a lifesaver during the hot summer nights, and all the beds were super comfortable. All in all, it was a great trip with friends and a wonderful place to make memories. Highly recommend!

Wonderful lakeside retreat

Wonderful house in a perfect location. We stayed with my family and loved the easy access to the lake. The house had all the essentials you might need. The layout and amenities were very thoughtfully planned-hoping to return next year!

Labor Day Fun

This was the perfect home for our family to spend time together right next to the lake. It rained quite a bit while we were staying in the cabin and there was plenty to do within the cabin to keep both the kids and adults occupied. The cabin is cozy and inviting and we are certainly looking forward to renting again!

Amazing place

Awesome location, quiet, beautiful. We had high expectations, but this stay exceeded all of them. We loved the huge deck, proximity to the beach, abundance of parking at the house and down at the beach, and the clear skies at night for star gazing. We brought lots of water toys and got a lot of use of out of them. The cabin itself is a bit older, but you can tell that remodeling has started in pockets, i.e. the bathrooms and master bedrooms. If I had to pick out something that could use some improvement, it's the lighting situation in the kitchen and living room - it's just not that great. Please also note there is no shampoo or conditioner in the showers, bring your own. Again, nitpicks stuff.... We will be back for sure. My family loved it here.

Great cabin, would recommend!

My family and I had a lovely week spent at this cabin. The cabin met all our needs and was equipped with the essentials. The mattresses had varying levels firmness, so something for everyone. The cabin was ideal for our grandfather (83 yrs old with limited mobility) as the entrance was direct (only 1 step up) and ground level bedroom had a large walk in shower. We loved that we were just steps away from the Rec 2 playground/beach, so convenient and perfect as we had our 3 yr old daughter with us. We enjoyed spending our evenings on the large deck watching the stars come out. The cabin is undergoing renovations, the downstairs masters bedroom, guest bathroom and deck all look great and recently done. Upstairs is still a bit dated, we were not a fan of the carpeted bathroom. Excited to see how they update it. We definitely would recommend to anyone and would be happy to stay again!

The perfect cabin!

We’ve been visiting Lake Almanor since our kids were very young, but because of an injury to my husband, we were unable to come here for 7 years. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. It felt as if we had a “lakefront” property we were so close to the lake! The owners were so friendly and responsive to our needs. The beds are so incredibly comfortable, I slept like a baby. My adult children had the best time playing games on the deck and cornhole on the side yard. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner for my family. The week we stayed was unusually hot, so we would have really appreciated air conditioning, but I’m not complaining. We kept windows open and there were tons of fans to keep us cool! My family and I will most definitely stay here again. The most magical, beautiful place. ❤️

Family getaway

What an amazing property! This place in the PERFECT location!! You have partial views of the lake from the (recently renovated) huge front deck and less than a minute walk to Rec Area II which has a swimming beach, playground, bbq's and boat launch! We came with our almost 3 y/o and 18 month old and we would go down to the playground daily. They loved it! Having the boat launch so close was great too. We launched one morning and drove across the lake to Carol's Café in Prattville for breakfast. The kids thought that that was so much fun. The cabin itself is well equipped with everything you could need. The main bedroom and both bathrooms downstairs have been updated beautifully. The large couch in the living room is very comfortable and has plenty of space for extra people. The weather was cooler than expected so we got some good use out of the fireplace in the living room. Now for the owners.... They were great at every step of the way. Jan contacted me the day of arrival hours before check in time letting me know the cabin was available and we could go in anytime. She was always responsive to any questions I had throughout the week and made sure we were happy with everything. We will 100% be returning next year for another week.

Great stay in scenic Northern California

We found the cabin was as advertised. The highlight of this cabin is the wonderful deck with a BBQ and great deck furniture. We ate meals there and enjoyed the views of the lake while reading or just relaxing. The surrounding area is scenic and offers multiple golf courses, boating, fishing, several excellent dining options and wonderful places to walk and enjoy nature. We did spend one day in Lassen National park which is about an hour drive away. The cabin is currently not air-conditioned, which is typical in this area, but the owners indicate this is on their list of intended future improvements. We were there during fairly warm summer days and did fine by appropriate use of many fans provided in the cabin and opening screened windows for cool evening/night ventilation. A little like stepping back in time when we lived in a non-air conditioned world. The kitchen is modern but small. There were six adults in our group and we found it best to limit kitchen activities to two people at a time. There is a nice dining table with bench seating adequate for six to eight but we mostly just dined on the deck given the nice summer weather. Our communication with the owners was excellent. They were very clear about how to gain entry to the cabin on arrival and what was expected of us when departing on check-out day. Greatly appreciated this as our experience is this is not always the case. Our sincere thanks to them.

Great location, updated cabin

Great location right next to Rec 2 for swimming and water sports. Downstairs bathrooms have been updated beautifully. Great outdoor patio space. All the beds were comfortable and lots of fans to keep cool on hot summer evenings. Would definitely book again.

Nice and relaxing vacation spot

We enjoyed our time at the house playing board games on the porch. It was a good spot to see the lake and take a quick dip in the water.

Lake Almanor Country Club offerings

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is very clean and comfortable with plenty of beds for all family members. The kitchen has all the necessities to prepare for large meals and the deck is a lovely place to hang out with friends. Our family had fun over the 4th of July weekend. The parade in Chester is cute and quaint. Strolling thru the craft fair for treasures is always fun. We especially enjoyed playing tennis and frisbee golf by Rec Area 1. The owners are responsive and easy to deal with.

My family and I stayed at the Hidden Beach retreat and had an amazing time. The Home was very spacious and accommodating for our family. Wonderful location, close to the beach. We would highly recommend this home!

Amazing Time in Almanor

This cabin and trip were amazing. Great memories made with friends over an amazing holiday weekend. Owners were great to work with and communicated everything to us that we needed to know. Super close to the water and beach. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great Cabin at Almanor

We had a great stay. The house was clean and had most amenities that we needed. Our family had a great time exploring Lassen and other areas of Almanor as well as just swimming at the Rec 2 lake area close by. Great summer vacation spot our family of 4. We also invited the inlaws for a couple of nights and they had a blast as well.
