Un carril en el corazón de Roma, Castel Sant'Angelo, a poco más de 100 metros, la calle de anticuarios (a través de dei Coronari) a tiro de piedra, y St. Basílica de Pedro, Piazza Navona y Piazza Farnese a unos cientos de metros. Esta es Antiqua, una residencia del siglo XVII que es ideal para pasar unas vacaciones en el casco antiguo de Roma.

Al salir por la puerta principal de Antiqua, inmediatamente te encuentras en medio de la atmósfera fascinante de la Roma papal. Largas y estrechas callejuelas bordeadas de palacios aristocráticos. Establecimientos públicos de todo tipo: desde antiguas trattorias y elegantes restaurantes hasta bares de sushi y cafeterías antiguas. Y talleres que mantienen vivas las artesanías más antiguas, transmitidas de padres a hijos: cortadores de mármol, comerciantes de artículos de cuero, orfebres y restauradores. Y un poco más adelante, al otro lado de Viale del Lungotevere, se encuentra el dorado río Tíber con el muelle desde el que puedes tomar un bote para dar un paseo río abajo.

Amueblado con muebles antiguos, suelos de terracota y techos artesonados, "Antiqua" consta de una gran habitación doble o de matrimonio, una habitación individual y una habitación doble, un baño, una cocina equipada (lavavajillas, horno, nevera, cafetera espresso) ), una sala de estar con un sofá con capacidad para tres personas y un amplio comedor. Tiene capacidad para 5-6 personas.

We stayed for two weeks leading up to Christmas. The location can not be beat. Steps from Via dei Coronari, Piazza Navona, the Vatican, a taxi stand, shops and restaurants too numerous to count. Sara and Emanuele were incredibly attentive and helpful. At the midpoint of our stay, our sheets, fluffy towels and the apartment was refreshed. Three of us (adults) had plenty of room despite one bathroom. The shower and toilet are in separate rooms, so it was not a problem at all. We didn’t spend much time in the kitchen, but there is a full refrigerator, oven and cook top. Coffee pods were provided for the espresso maker and most kitchen tools you would need for your stay. Very quaint lovely apartment with lots of character and charm! We loved it and would certainly pick this place again.

Excellent location. Water fountain for drinking water steps away, restaurants, bars, etc right outside and very close to attractions like Colosseum, Vatican, etc. Host was very quick to respond and the unit was extremely secure. It was up a few flights of stairs with a total of 3 doors (all with separate locks). It was a very nice stay with great amenities like stocked coffee, clean sheets, and extremely comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is ideally located, with easy access to all the major sights in Rome. Transportation options like Uber, taxis, and public transit are readily available nearby. The space has historic charm and classic features, and all appliances were functional during our stay.However, cleanliness could be improved. The floors hadn’t been mopped, paint was flaking, and there was rust on some metal fixtures—issues that are fairly common in older European buildings. The shower also showed signs of mold, which is unfortunately typical in many places.The main concern was a persistent sewage odor in the bathroom. Contrary to the listing’s suggestion that it’s occasional, the smell was constant throughout our stay. I don’t believe this is a neighborhood-wide issue, as I stayed just a block away for six months previously without encountering this problem.

The apartment check in and access process was very easy. They send you a video which is very helpful for the first time trying to unlock the doors. We did have some difficulty with the locked key box but eventually got it. The apartment did not have a "living room" except for a lounge area off the master bedroom so when we wanted to relax everyone went into their bedrooms. Other than that it was a very nice apartment. It is on the 2nd floor and the hallways are small so it was a little bit of struggle to get the luggage upstairs. The location was great. Piazza Navona was a close walk with great restaurants. Easy Uber/Taxi pick up at the corner of the apartment. Stored out luggage at stow away luggage a couple of blocks away from the apartment and worked out great.

Great location

Great apartment for my family of 5. A little smaller than we expected, but probably typical of a city apartment in Europe. Location was amazing, close to many great cafe’s, coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Host was terrific and very helpful.

Amazing location!

Our group of 4 stayed for 5 nights in June/25 when Rome was under a heat wave. We were so grateful to have air conditioning in all the bedrooms which made the entire apartment very comfortable all day/night. The size of the apartment is generous, lots of windows, small kitchen but well stocked with dishware and pots/pans. Good shower pressure too, and limited toiletries available. It should be noted that there are a lot of stairs (no elevator access).In terms of safety, I felt very safe staying here, as there are multiple security measures in place. I gave the check-in process only 4* rating because, although the hosts gave accurate information (both written and by video) on how to gain access to the apartment, it was still a bit challenging to do it myself the first time. The location is central to everything, including the best selection of restaurants, short walks to key sights (ex. Castel Sant'Angelo, Trevi Fountain, Vatican City) and access to bus stops/taxis. I would highly recommend this apartment in Rome!

The property was fine. Pretty loud all night with people, then construction started early in the morning. Apartment was fine and clean. I like the location but it was just loud which is beyond their control.

Family Friendly

We stayed here with two adults, a 14, 12, 11, and 8 year -old from Jan. 26 to Feb. 2. We liked the three bedrooms. Cute decor. The apartment is up several floors (no elevator) but there is a security door half way up the stairwell. Location is fantastic- charming neighborhood. Clean and safe area. There is both a pharmacy and grocery store within walking distance. There is a washing machine. But no dryer appliance. There is an unheated drying rack. The toilet is in a room with its own sink. And there is a shower room also with a sink. American travelers: please note the washer is a small size, standard in Europe - you’ll need to plan your laundry loads. Also, for parents of small kids - this is an active area and the streets are busy with people into the night, so bedtime isn’t quiet due to people talking and socializing outside at street level. I would stay here again.

Perfect location

My family of five stayed at this apartment! Comfortable beds, Perfect location- we could walk to everything. The only negative was walking up three sets of stairs with luggage, but the location made up for that!! Would definitely stay there again

Great location in Rome

Great stay, comfy place in a great location

We stayed here (4 adult friends) and could not have been happier. Great communication with property manager before staying, easy check in and super amazing place. We loved the convenient location, so much really close by. Comfy beds, enough space for us to be comfortable. It was fun getting up and down the steps with luggage, but we managed! Would def recommend.

Quaint & convenient to all we wanted to see.

We had 4 days in Rome and this place was perfect for easy access to the sites we wanted to see & some fantastic restaurants. Sara was our contact and she was so sweet & prompt at helping and answering our questions. The beds were incredibly comfortable & the apartment was perfect for the 4 of us. If we go back to Rome again, we will stay again! The parking was a little bit of a walk, but our vehicle was safe and we didn’t need the car.

Home away from home

We booked 5 nights to explore Rome. We couldn't be more pleased with the apartment, what it had to offer and the location. So glad I found this gem for our first trip to Europe. The apartment was spacious, clean and there was nothing we lacked. I wanted it for access to a kitchen (but get real, we never cooked there LOL) I purposely chose this place for the washing machine as we did make use of it since we were travelling light for 2 weeks. The beds were very comfortable, bedding was very nice and we loved having extra pillows available. Everything the posting listed was there, wifi, a/c... The location was spot on. We walked everywhere except for the Coloseum -- we took a short bus ride to that area. The location is a few minutes to Castel St Angelo and maybe about 10 minutes from Piazza Navona. Restaurants everywhere. Fountains available everywhere. We don't drink our tap water here in Canada but in Rome, we couldn't get enough of that great water. Communication and instructions was easy and response time was fast. Take a cab from the airport, it will save you the hassle and extra time of figuring things out. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Modest, but decent sized apartment

This apartment is a three bedroom place with good air conditioning, but the beds are not comfortable. The linens were super scratchy and the mattresses were worn out. For us, the beds and sleep quality are key so we would not go back. The location was fine and appliances all worked fine as well. The apartment is on the second floor but that is about four flights of stairs to reach. If you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. Also, the doors are difficult to operate and the management company kept emailing us saying we weren’t closing the doors, when in fact other residents were propping them open. That was annoying. Lastly, they don’t refund your damage deposit even if they acknowledge that there was no damage.

Lovely location

My family of 5 comfortably stayed at this historic apartment with the essential upgrade of air conditioning, modern kitchen and washing machine. We loved the central location allowing us to walk to the Vatican, Colosseum and Trevi fountain. Tons of delicious options right outside the door. Lastly, the beds were very comfortable to sleep in after a day full of soaking up the Italian culture. We would definitely stay here again. Grazi!
