Cozy home away from home

Comfortable, clean cottage near all that Old Saybrook has to offer. Responsive helpful owner, easy check-in and check-out. We were there in Winter and appreciated the holiday decorations and her efforts in accommodating our altered schedule! We also loved the fenced-in yard for our pup! We would stay here again.

Mini vacation

I found the place to be very very nice, clean , location quiet which I wanted but close to activities if I wanted. The host of this property was great, accommodating, very helpful. Would love to stay again

Everything you could need!

The home was exactly as described. It had everything we needed. The back deck and yard are so peaceful and private. The location was so close to all the many activities we (4 adult women) did. Very, very clean. We had a wonderful stay!

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood

Exactly as described and clean. Beautiful fenced in backyard with plenty of shade provided by some very old trees. Nice large back deck with table and chairs. Great house if you have kids or dogs. Close to everything, right off Rt. 1.

Family Holiday

Perfect! We stayed the week of Christmas with our 2 dogs. The open living/ dining/ kitchen was great for hosting a holiday meal and the kitchen has everything you need to do so. My pups loved the fenced in yard. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable yet close to everything. We all had a fantastic stay.

September trip to shore

This was a beautiful place to stay! Well stocked kitchen, lovely fenced in yard with a deck. Great view of the yard though the sliding doors in the living room. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and a relaxing place to walk my dog. There's lots of places to eat in Old Saybrook and surrounding towns and there's a large grocery store in town. We stopped in at the Kate Hepburn museum on Main Street. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect place for our family

Our family needed a house to stay in near Haddam Connecticut for a friend’s wedding. Rosemary’s house in Old Saybrook was the perfect place. We loved the area and quaint town near 95 and the beach. The house was clean and she provided all the amenities needed to feel like home. Our twin grandkids and our dog loved the large fenced in yard. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was in the home including toys for the kids. Her communication was awesome and we had a delightful time.

A little bit of heaven for a week

We so enjoyed our week at your home. The neighborhood was fantastic-made us feel like neighbors immediately. The house was immaculate and far, far better than the pictures showed. Our little girl (Hanna, the dog) absolutely loved the backyard and not having to be tied up. If you are thinking of renting this home, do not hesitate-- I am VERY fussy, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed in any way.

Wonderful Home!

We had a small group stay here for one night and it was lovely! The house was spacious enough for all of us, but still cozy. The furnishings were lovely, the beds were comfortable, it was clean and tidy. The backyard was very large and the deck sizeable. The location was on a cul de sac and a short drive to town and all the needed stores. Rosemary was a wonderful hostess. Even though we didn't get to meet in person, she made us feel welcome with her personalized note and caring for our comfort. She was easy to communicate with, responded quickly, and was kind enough to accommodate an extra need we had. Would highly reccommend. Thank you, Rosemary!

Beautiful home. Very clean (one of the cleanest/ neatest VRBOs that I have stayed at!! Kitchen was equipped with all the appliances (coffee and tea too). Beds were very cozy. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our fur babies who enjoyed sunning themselves the whole time we were there. The only change I would make is a keyless entry to the door upon arrival. We would definitely return :).

We enjoyed our stay

This home had what we needed. It was easy to find things around the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The large back yard is fenced-in, so our dog had plenty of space to run around. The location is great for children to play outside because of the family-friendly neighborhood. Easy drive to Mystic Aquarium and other attractions. Recommended.

Loved everything!

Great location and great house. Everything we needed to be comfortable, not a single complaint. Rosemary was a great host. My pups loved the big backyard and playing in The leaves. Rosemary even had even put a water bowl down for them. It is wise I think for hosts to realize that it is often our pets comfort that leads us to seek out homes with yards as opposed to hotels. Thank you for your thoughtfulness :)

Warm and inviting home - great stay!

Very warm and inviting house in a quiet neighborhood setting. Great kitchen open to the dining and living room. Good sized bedrooms, large private deck and backyard. Host extremely responsive and accommodating. Even had a Christmas tree and lights for us to enjoy! Very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Recommend highly.

Terrific rental in Old Saybrook

This property was perfect for us. The house was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. It had everything we needed to entertain. Paper goods and soap were there when we arrived. We enjoyed the outside space and the neighborhood was quite and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We appreciated having cable with Netflix and Prime. The host was very accessible and accommodating. We would definitely rent ther again!

Cosy and comfy. Host was gracious and helpful. Easy walk to beach.

Very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Short walk and drive to numerous restaurants, shops etc. Well equipped kitchen. Host could not have been more gracious and helpful.

Wonderful get away

I rented this property so that my children and grandchildren could finally get together after the pandemic. What a beautiful home and quiet neighborhood! You are close to everything in Old Saybrook and surrounding towns. My favorite place was the deck in the backyard. Beautiful and peaceful. Relaxing and comfortable spring get-away

Wonderful, very comfortable, and clean property. Even better than pictures and descriptions listed. Everything was provided. Loved the backyard to sit outside with our coffee and the gas firepit at night. Great area with lots of stores/restaurants nearby. We would like to definitely make this at least a yearly thing! Wonderful House in Peaceful Setting

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this immaculately clean, comfortable house, which was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is convenient to restaurants, stores and beaches, but is in a quiet neighborhood and has a beautiful, private backyard. The owner, Rosemary, was very helpful and easy to reach with any questions. We definitely hope to come back!

Cozy house

Cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. House was setup well and stocked with everything we needed. Our puppy really enjoyed the fence in the backyard. Rosemary was a very accommodating host. Would stay here again!
