This 7000 square foot villa offers breathtaking views of long island sound. A large back yard with access to a private pool makes our villa a dream for families and couples. While villas are fairly close on either side of the property, large privacy hedges keep the house very private. Perfect for those seeking relaxation.

While villas are fairly close on either side of the property, large privacy hedges keep the house private. Perfect for those seeking relaxation. 200 square meters built in 2009 and decorated in a classic Greek style which includes 2 levels of living/dining room with a sitting corner, fireplace and TV with DVD, and a large terrace with beautiful views. The master suite contains access to a 20sqm balcony. Two of the other three bedrooms have twin beds and the third can accommodate another couple since it has a big double bed.
The nearest beach is a 3,5km distance in Platanias and Adelianos Kambos, which are the most well-known seaside villages for holidaymakers with restaurants, supermarkets, bars, stores with clothes or souvenirs and with a very good bus and taxi transport for your own service.

Hello there,
I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector.
One thing I learned growing up in a family-run hotel is that hospitality is more than hotel management, logistics and operations. It is a culture, passing down from one generation to the next. You can study to be a hotel manager but you cannot study to be hospitable.
I apply this philosophy in my business as well. The rule is simple: the guests of the villas I manage are my guests. As an active traveller, I expect nothing less myself.
The fourth generation of Dafermos hoteliers has already been born. I know now that my two beautiful children will probably follow my steps, like I did before them. There is a small difference though: they are smarter, more educated, better (big smile).

This villa is also just a short drive east of Rethymnon and only 3 km from the nearest sandy beach, great for swimming and sunbathing. Notable sites in the area include the famous Arkadi Monastery. Built in 1538, the architecture displays a combination of Roman and Baroque styles. Another point of interest in the area is the village of Margarites. This little town is famous for its pottery, which has been its main business since ancient times. In fact, the entire province of Rethymnon is filled with little villages still practicing traditional hand?crafts, such as basket making, loom weaving, carving, and pottery. Then of course there is the city of Rethymnon, the capital of the province, the heart of the island of Crete and is one of the most beautiful places in Greece. There are traces of a civilization that dates back 4,500 years, numerous Byzantine churches and monasteries, enchanting Venetian monuments, the most well-preserved Renaissance city in Greece, with endless beaches.
