Cama King en el dormitorio principal, dos camas individuales en el dormitorio de invitados y un sofá cama en la sala de estar. Disfrute de un café y un amanecer en el balcón, accesible desde la sala de estar y el dormitorio principal. Al final de un día bañado por el sol en la playa, hay entretenimiento para todos con televisores de pantalla plana en todo el condominio. Disfruta de dos piscinas (una climatizada en invierno), gimnasio y paseo de dunas a la playa. Great Location

Location was great! Enjoyed being walking distance from most restaurants and stores. View from unit was amazing and love that it is a gated and secure community. Loved our time at both the pool and beach.

The view was amazing I enjoyed my stay only two problems I had was the freezer needed the filter changed the water and the ice taste terrible I did report that hopefully they fixed it and zero counter space in either bathrooms other than that all was good

The property was clean. Smelled of bleach when we opened the door but not too strong at all. The view is absolutely incredible! The only issues were the beds were super uncomfortable almost like sleeping on a boxspring only and the dishwasher did not clean well at all. Dishes still felt greasy when removed after cleaning. This caused us to have to hand wash all dishes. Other than that, no complaints and we enjoyed our stay! It was well stocked with dishes and everything we needed for the first couple days as promised!

Accommodations more tired than the guests

Having stayed at 4 or 5 different properties at Emerald Isle in the past, the two sisters and their husbands were surprised at how tired and sort of worn out this condo was. furniture in disrepair, balcony with cheapest (uncomfortable) furniture. Facility is Great ... specific condo is, sadly, a dump!

That meant long waits for the elevator and overcrowding. Most of the outlets were not working properly in the unit. It was like this two years ago.

Has potential

Our stay was enjoyable. The condo had everything we needed for our beach vacation. In fact, there was even a boogie board, inflatable raft, pool noodles, and a bucket/shovel in the laundry area for us to use. The view was amazing! The pool was clean and never too crowded while we were there. However, the beds were not comfortable at all. In fact, the pull out sofa bed was the “most comfortable” bed in the condo which isn’t saying much. The master bedroom’s mattress was very thin and very loud every time you roll over. The second bedroom’s queen bed was as hard as a rock. The condo was definitely showing signs of age and needed some updates. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, just wish we could have slept a little more comfortably.

Nice place.

We enjoy staying at Emerald Isle. This unit was a little dated, and beds weren’t comfortable. The unit appeared to be clean upon arrival. We all moved our shoes at the entry way on the first time we entered the unit and unpacked our belongings bare footed. Within 15 minutes I had sat down for something and looked at the soles of my feet. They were very dirty. The floor was clear of sand but the cleaning crew must have neglected to properly mop that day. We noticed the mop in the laundry closet, it was old and ragged. If the cleaning people used that mop, no wonder the floor wasn’t clean because that mop had seen better days. We ended up sacrificing one of our beach towels to properly wash the floors through out the unit.

Loved It

We loved the property. Dishes and flatware were dirty in the cupboards and drawers but the closing rules state to clean the dishes and put them away. We suspect that previous guests put them away dirty and housekeeping didn’t notice. We washed them so it was no big deal. Some of the electrical outlets were not working. The bed is starting to wear out but still very comfortable. The property could use some updating but nothing would keep us from not going back. In fact, we arrived on Sunday. On Monday when discussing next year my husband said there was nothing to discuss. We both loved the property and already have plans to stay there next year. Management was notified of the very minimal issues and were going to address them.

However the condo was not very clean. We had dirty dishes in the cabinets. The floors were not clean. The shower in the guest bathroom did not drain well, therefore the tub was dirty. The toilet in the guest bathroom was dripping the entire time we were there.

Gulf View Condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Would not stay in the condo again. It could be such a nice place but everything is just rinky-dink. The inside furniture was uncomfortable and old. The bedroom dresser drawers wouldn't close. Dishes and plates all mismatched. You had to be a gorilla to open the front door. Many lightbulbs were out. The curtains were uneven and cheap. The refrigerator drawers all were broken, we were afraid to use them. Even the outside chairs were weird. Two chairs high and 2 chairs low. Very cheap. The best thing was "Of Course" the view. We have rented in this building for 4 years. This one was our least favorite. Sorry for the negative remarks. A little TLC could make this a great unit. Hope the owners wake up and get it right.
