Delightful townhome

This property worked out very well for our 3 generation family. Quiet development with both an indoor and outdoor pool. A short drive to Bethany Beach, and a state park trail about .5 miles away. One supermarket within walking distance, and a second with a Starbucks and Fractured Prune less than 10 minutes away. One slight maintenance issue, and the owner attended to it very quickly.

Lovely home in Bethany Beach

Our family stayed in this house for 2 weeks this past August. We have never stayed in the Bethany Beach area before and this place was a great find. The owners were very responsive to my many, many questions before and during the stay. The house has everything you need for a great vacation - good location, tons of room, lovely decor, ample supplies (fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs and toys, outdoor seaing and grill) , community pools (outdoor and indoor). We would definitely stay here again.

The perfect home away from home!

First, the home owner, Jane, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions quickly and completely so that we could plan our vacation. Second, this home is a show place! The decor is just gorgeous- warm, inviting, kind of Country-French-Beach theme throughout the whole house. We took advantage of the well stocked kitchen and used the grill and outdoor seating several nights for dinner. Third, the location was perfect for our family. We are big kayakers/paddle boarders, so the short walk to the docks was easy breezy. We did a lot of crabbing from the docks, as well, and the kids tried out the pool a few times. When we went to the beach, it was just a short drive. Fourth, there is a grocery store literally within walking distance, a liquor store not too far away, and an awesome restaurant just up the road. What else could we need for a vacation? This home and homeowner made our first post-pandemic vacation simply wonderful. We are already making plans for next summer. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Wonderful stay!

Ralph and Jane have a wonderful property that is convenient to the many beaches-- a short drive to Bethany beach-- and also grocery supplies, ice cream and a fishmarket. We also loved the cleanliness and roominess of the house. Great kitchen! The hosts were so quick in responding to questions. Thank you! We hope to be back again!

Nice and comfortable place.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this home which is spacious and clean. The owner was so kind throughout the entire process from booking to checkout. The neighborhood is nice and safe - kids loved riding bikes around. Very easy drive to the beach, short distance to grocery stores. Absolutely loved our vacation at this property and we will definitely be back!!!

Great Stay

We had a great time during our July stay! The home was immaculate when we arrived, and the decor is lovely. We really enjoyed the layout of the home as well. I had to work a bit during our stay, and there was plenty of room to spread out so that my work didn't interrupt the fun the other members of our party were having. There's a good selection of games (we loved using the larger dining area to play games after dinner every night). The beach chairs available for us to use were really nice, especially the 'backpacking' mode they have that made carrying them along with the rest of our beach gear easier. We also enjoyed having a grocery store just around the corner, close enough to walk. The best thing, however, was how incredibly well stocked the home is compared to other rentals we've used in the past (plenty of spices, hand soap, foil, storage containers, detergent, toilet paper, etc.). All in all, we had a relaxing trip and enjoyed the property very much.

Nice vacation townhouse

The home was nicely decorated. Spacious and comfortable. The clubhouse was appreciated by our grandsons especially on the rainy days. Good location, close enough to the beach but far from the crowds.

Looking forward to our next visit

Picture perfect property. The home is well decorated, well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed the use of your bikes and beach chairs. The Bayside at Bethany community was so quiet, clean and peaceful. My wife and I enjoyed the lighted walkway at night with all the comforting sounds of the crickets and frogs. It was all aesthetically pleasing with the lighted pond fountains and manicured landscaping. The added amenities provided at the centralized community recreational facility with outdoor pool overlooking the Indian River Bay was perfect after a day at Bethany Beach only a short 2 miles away. Owners were ideal to deal with. Great place to do some Dream Building which we actually took some time and did. We were blessed to have had the much needed rest, relaxation and comfort this vacation provided. All the comforts of home away from home. We also met a life long friend. Can hardly wait to return. We thank God for all the blessings and awesome memories.

Wonderful Vacation Home

We have stayed in Bayside at Bethany Lakes six times, and this is by far the nicest home we have stayed in. The owner is extremely helpful, quick to respond to any inquiry, and the home is exactly as advertised (even nicer in person). Beautifully decorated, completely stocked kitchen, there is nothing more you would want. I like to be outside during vacation, so the patio was perfect! We used it everyday, both morning and night. Will return over and over if it is available!

Wonderful home... everything we could ask for!

Our stay at this rental was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The home was beautifully decorated and had every amenity you could ask for. Everyone in the family loved it, and we hope to visit again! Thank you so much for opening your lovely home to us for a very memorable vacation!

What a great place to stay!

My family (wife and 2children), stayed here during July and we couldn't have been happier. The townhouse is every bit as nice as advertised and was big enough to comfortably handle the 7 suggested. The location is close to the beach with a grocery store in close proximity. The clubhouse, (and 2 pools), was clean, well appointed and a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. We have stayed in many places in Bethany and this was superior to all of them. Highest recommendation!
