Precioso condominio espacioso de tres habitaciones, tres baños, en el tercer nivel (elevador para mayor comodidad), totalmente amueblado con ropa de cama / toallas y una cocina totalmente equipada., Y una lavadora / secadora grande.

La gran cocina y la gran sala tienen vistas despejadas a la playa. Con capacidad para 8, este condominio de 3 habitaciones ofrece mucho espacio para todos. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama King y un baño privado con bañera de hidromasaje y ducha de azulejos. Hay 2 habitaciones de huéspedes; una cama King en uno y una cama Queen con baño privado en otro. Hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar. El balcón es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar del atardecer y puede ir directamente a la playa a través de una escalera desde su balcón. We had the best time. The place was perfect when it came to access and cleanliness. Plenty of games and seating area for 7 of us. The views were wonderful! I want to stay here every year!

The unit was beautiful inside and very clean! The rules changed on bringing our own chairs instead of renting them just a few months before we arrived. I had already bought chairs and umbrellas that met HOA code (and I called ahead of time before I bought them). I spent the same amount of money renting as I did buying my own that I couldn’t use until after 5pm when the rental company picked up theirs. The rental company were super nice gentlemen!! The lower rating is for the strict vehicle rules. My oldest daughter and I drove from KY in separate vehicles (with our families) to my parent’s house in FL. My parents came to the unit with us so we had 3 vehicles to unload. Within 15 mins. I had a voicemail one vehicle was going to get towed. One departure, I asked permission to bring the 3rd vehicle back to the unit to load it for 10-15 mins and were not allowed to, so I had to send my parents (who I see once a year) home prematurely so we could drive 1 hour round trip to get our vehicle and load it for the trip back home. I understand rules but there can be a 15-30 min exception for loading and unloading when you rent a large unit for several families.

We will be back’

The reviews for this property was correct in that it is a bit dated. However it was comfortable and had everything you need. Location on 30-A! So close to their private beach which is a bonus for us. We will be back!

Great place to stay.

Location was the biggest factor for our family. You can't beat the location of this room. Very relaxed area with access to the beach right out the back door. Some parts of the room are a touch outdated but it didn't effect our ability to have fun at all. I think everyone in our family would agree, that they enjoyed the room.

Not what we expected

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and views were great along with the quick responses from the management company. But for the money and all of the HOA rules I expected more. The unit smelled like mold, it was not clean, cabinets had hair ties holding them shut, the padding on the deck was torn and my grandson (16 months) tripped over it several times, master bedroom door did not shut, one of the bathroom doors sticks and those are just a few of the issues. We expected more for the price and location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was in a great location, with a beautiful view of the beach. But there were several things in the condo that needed repair. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall as were pictures in the master bedroom. Two separate calls to the property management office were never returned.

The management company was very prompt with response to a slow bathtub drain that we let them know about. The ice maker in this unit was a great Plus to have at the beach! Would have been a 5 star if the patio had new carpet with bar height seating to view out to the ocean but a small detail. Very good stay overall.

Needs serious updating

The location was amazing and the views fabulous. The condo itself was in serious need of updating. Cabinets were falling off, toilet paper holder in master kept falling off, the master bedroom door did not close all the way. The unit hadn’t been cleaned properly as we found luggage tags, clothes tags and book marks on the floor and on furniture. The unit had a musty smell that could be smelled before entering the unit. It did take several washes after we got back home to remove the smell from our clothes. Would consider staying again if the unit is updated

Smells of mold especially in cabinets so we didn’t put anything in them. A few kitchen cabinets had very bad mold smell, we were afraid to use anything in them. Bought paper goods and washed anything we used first. Handle on sliding door broke off mid stay.

Great location

Most everything was wonderful with a few exceptions. Door knob would lock but jiggle it and the door would opened. Towel rack kept falling off wall. When we arrived the air was off and it was 80+ degrees inside. It took all night and into the morning to cool down. But you can’t beat the view and the private beach is a game changer

However, the 2 out of 3 bathrooms are very outdated, small, and dirty. The Wi-Fi was very spotty. On the day of arrival, the refrigerator took 24 hours to get cold after it was filled which is normal since they have a note by the fridge stating that. Due to the bathrooms, we would not stay here again. We were very pleased with the property management people.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First and foremost, I hate to give away our secret spot... but Sugar Dunes can’t be beat! Private WALK OUT beach, beach service, limited # of units, assigned parking, and simple rules to follow! We have stayed twice a year for years now and only veered away once (and it was not good). The units are older. Some are more updated than others but at the end of the day, we came for the beach and need a place to lay our head. All of the things mentioned above, can not be beat! This particular unit has had some updates and I feel is a continuous work in progress! Always trying to make it better. I always try to book with Candy and Gary first when we know our dates. It is nice to have a contact if something if ever needed and they are very on top of it! They call and check on your before you come and finalize last minute items, email/call back almost immediately, and are ready to serve you. Thank you, guys!

Great location

Love the location and beach access. We have stayed at Sugar Dunes before and have really enjoyed it. This unit, however could use some TLC. Front bedroom doesn’t cool down, the ceiling fan was too loud to run to try and cool the room. Master bathtub is very worn and needs to be replaced. Vent in master bath shower is very dirty. Front door bolt lock doesn’t latch unless you can pull up on the door which could be a problem if you have any physical strength issues. Balcony to beach stairs had the same issue. The biggest downer was the extremely musty smell in the unit. I realize we are at the beach and there is heat and humidity but it had a distinct cellar smell. On the plus side, loved the icemaker and it had all the kitchen items we could ask for in a beach rental. Washer and dryer also worked great. Water pressure in the showers was great and we never lacked for hot water. Beds were comfortable and loved the updated flooring. Overall we had a great week and will stay at this complex again, just will choose our unit more carefully. Management is very friendly and check in and out was easy. I don’t blame them for the issues; they are just the management and not the property owner, the owner really needs to make some updates and this unit could be a gem.

It was past check in time but no worries it is so, so busy on 30A this year. Once we began to unload there were many “opportunities” as to the cleanliness of the unit. After speaking with Candy she assured us we would be taken care of and we were. We all need to remember how crazy the times are. We enjoyed Sugar Dunes and will return.
