Thanksgiving getaway

We loved staying at this ideally located waterfront cottage. It was very cozy and comfortable for our short vacation. Everything we needed was stocked in the rental. We couldn’t imagine a more relaxing beautiful spot close to both nature and civilization at the land’s end.

This is a beautiful, picturesque sea side cottage situated right on the water in the quiet west end of Provincetown. Vaulted ceilings, several windows and glass doors leading to a wooden deck and patio overlooking the bay are all features. We enjoyed the convenient kitchenette and outdoor shower as well. After staying in many places in Provincetown over the years, this is by far our favorite. The owner, Rich, was very responsive and helpful. The property was very clean and well maintained. If you want a delightful, quiet, oceanfront stay, this is it! The short walk to the commercial part of town was pleasant and gets you away from night time noise. We definitely plan to return!

Awesome beachside cottage in Provincetown.

The property has a private location right on the bay with outdoor seating and eating. One of the highlights was eating breakfast in the sunshine on the patio over looking the bay. Richard was very exteremly helpful.

Perfect Last Minute Spooky Bear Stay

This is a perfect little cottage that looks out at Long Point and Wood End, the very end of the Cape. This little community of cottages are incredibly well maintained and this one is not an exception. We loved biking into town a few minutes away then being able to relax at this peaceful retreat. I hope to make it to the community’s annual White Party in the future. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

Not what we expected

This was to be a 60th birthday celebration. It was far from a celebration. Upon arrival, the property manager advised us the washer was broken and the toilet was running. He did not return until Wednesday (we arrived on Saturday) to fix both. The toilet however was still broken. We could not stay and left the unit early. Additionally, there is no air conditioning in the bedroom at all. It was a bad experience all the way around.

Sir: I have over 40 five-star reviews that contradict your experience at one of the best waterfront rentals in Provincetown. This is my first negative review in 18 years. I do not have a caretaker, and my contact info is clearly listed at the property directing guests to call or text “anytime.” Zero issues were brought to my attention during your stay. Your vehicle remained onsite for the week. The Smart Home app for the a/c reveals the entire cottage was maintained at temp as low as 65 degrees when in use. If I had known your reputation in town as “An innkeepers guests from hell,” I would have declined your request to reserve the Delft Haven Cottage. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all my previous guests, since 2007, for the wonderful and accurate reviews of this property, and I am honored to be chosen by VRBO as a Premier Host, accordingly.

PTown Serenity! Rich’s little house on the beach is an absolute slice of serenity! Getting to the house was so easy and our assigned parking spot was a quick walk to our front door. The house is in such a great location that we never touched the car again until we left town. It’s hard to believe that just a 10 min walk from all the beautiful restaurants, bars, and shops of downtown commercial st, was our perfect little house on the beach. Just doors down from the iconic Red Inn! While intimate in scale, the little kitchenette had everything we needed for 2 people for a week. The king bed was deliciously comfortable and the room was very quiet. We could walk out the door barefoot and have our toes in the sand in 10 paces; sit in their cushioned lounge chairs and watch the tides go out & back throughout the day or sit at our private table and feel the ocean breeze. The private outdoor shower was an unexpected treat with the crisp air & clear skies above. (There is of course an indoor shower if it’s too cold out but showered outdoors every day.) Everything worked beautifully. Rich was super responsive and the best VRBO host we have ever had. Helpful with any of our questions. We were very sad to leave and definitely will return.

A Magical Place

Amazing classic beachside cottage

Adorable, classic seaside cape cottage. Walk out to the beach, great view, well appointed. Close to town but far enough that you don’t have crowds or noise. We absolutely loved it. And the owner was great. Excellent and quick communication. We hope to go back.

Spectacular setting, lovely property!

Picture perfect setting right on the beach! The cottage was a delight; clean, and with all the comforts of home (plus a perfectly private outdoor shower which I used exclusively!) Rich was wonderful to deal with; warm and obviously happy to share his home. This was my first time renting this property, but I'll definitely be back!

Iconic New England charm with commanding beachfront location

This is by far one of the nicest condominiums in Ptwn. Ideal location with quintessential charm and unbeatable location. Well-appointed and efficient layout. The view of the sound is tranquilizing and the lawn and garden are perfectly manicured. Most importantly the owner could not have been any nicer or more helpful. Heavenly location!

Lovely property in a quiet beach-side location - steps away from the National Seashore and the bustle of Provincetown. The grounds are beautiful and we ate all meals outside by the grill. I always knew the West End of Provincetown was special and we will absolutely be back!

Awesome stay!

We’ve always wanted to stay at Delft Haven while in PTown, and this property did not disappoint. The cottage is right on the beach and the breezes at night with the windows open just can’t be beat. There is a fantastic outdoor (private) shower just off the master bathroom which we used the entire stay. While the kithen(ette) was on the smaller side, it was completely functional and literally has everything you need to make any meal or mix your favorite cocktails. The outdoor grill on the private patio made grilling a breeze. All of the neighbors were incredibly nice and hospitable. Rich was super easy to work with and extremely accommodating. He even had an AC installed the day before we arrived to help with a few of the hotter than expected days. Would definitely stay here again.

Heaven in Delft Haven

This property was meticulously designed and the location could not be better. You are literally on the beach and the property is quintessential Cape Cod. This is a perfect rental for two, and it's next door to fine dining at the Red Inn - while still being beachfront. You can walk to town or to Herring Cove beach (another larger beach nearby). This is an upscale rental - it is worth every penny. The owner could not have been more lovely!
