Big couch in the living room to watch movies. Big backyard with multiple areas to chill. We didn't even use half of the outdoor space.

The property had so much to offer, including spacious open areas that made it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. The master bed was absolutely fabulous—in fact, it was one of the best nights of sleep I've ever had. We spent most of our time enjoying the amazing backyard, which was truly the highlight of our stay. The management team was professional, responsive, and engaging throughout our visit. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to others.

The house was well stocked, and the back yard and all of its amenities were great! The mattress in the primary bedroom was extremely soft (and not in a good way if you prefer a firm mattress), but the mattresses in the other two bedrooms were much firmer. The bathrooms were small, but in the rest of the house, there was lots of space to spread out, including two comfy sitting areas indoors and plenty of seating outside. We had a fantastic stay, and the personal check-in was a nice touch.

Great house, location and pool!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Blue Mirage was a fantastic stay for our family. The backyard is well equipped with everything you need and the pool and hot tub were great. The location is close to downtown as well. The house had a great lounge area that was large, which was nice at the end of a long pool day to relax inside. It is close to the airport flight path - just something to be aware of. By the time the planes are over the house, the noise is lower, but there is still noise from planes taking off. The hosts were responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The house is just as pictured, clean, comfortable beds, plenty of activities inside and outside, enjoyed both the pool and hot tub, be aware that it is located in an area that can get windy at times. Host was great! Close to downtown areas. Side note, could use a few more bath and kitchen towels and a cutting board

Awesome Spot

This property was great for our family of 4 (2 teens) with pool, hot tub, putting green and table tennis. The pool was very warm, which was welcome in January! The house was a great layout and really well set up kitchen with lots of tools, knives (that actually cut!) and other comforts of home. Would definitely stay again!

Relaxing Desert Oasis

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a getaway weekend. The property was as advertised - beautiful and relaxing. Our host was professional and responsive at all times. The location was great - 5 minutes to town. I was able to jog to town and back in the morning, then hop in the hot tub to zen out. Amazing stay, thank you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My brother and I had a great stay at Blue Mirage over the Thanksgiving holiday. The property was immaculately clean, including the hot tub and pool, and was extremely well stocked to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. I also want to say thank you to Scott for helping us re-arrange our stay when a previous rental ended up not working out, and to Craig for being professional and helpful during our stay. I would definitely recommend the house and Relax Palm Springs to friends and family.

Blue Mirage House

House was as described, good location, close to downtown Palm Springs and the airport. Outdoor amenities were perfect; firepit, ping pong table, barbecue, outdoor dining table, outdoor seating, hammock, and especially the pool! The property manager Brad was very pleasant and helpful, even recommending some fabulous restaurants. The only negative was that it was very windy. We will definitely be booking this property again!

Everything and more!

This house was perfect for four of us (a couple, a teen and her friend) for the lovely week we spent in PS. It had all the amenities you could ask for - and then you also get a putting green, ping pong table, outdoor grill and bar and hammock to enjoy. Brad (property agent) couldn't be more friendly and responsive. It's a place we all want to come back to!

Perfect week at the Blue Mirage

Had a perfect week at the blue mirage enjoying a week of rest and relaxation. Brad the property manager was excellent, explained the property at check in and said he was available at all times for questions/ concerns. Highly recommend having a massage therapist come to the house to enhance the week. My wife and I come to Palm Springs 1-2 times per year and this by far has been our best experience.

Gorgeous house

The house was great from the start, we checked in quickly and everything was as listed. The pool was fantastic and warmed already for us when we arrived, which was great since it was a little chilly outside. My husband loved the putting green and ping pong table. Quick trip to the tram and to Joshua tree from the house. The only downside is that with having a 5 year old playing in the pool there are some serious noise restrictions which can seem a little excessive for small kids. But that’s the entire area and not just this one house. Overall we would easily book again.

Good morning. Thanks for your kind words. For future travelers, the noise restrictions are more about music. The city knows quite well that kids will be kids and they will have a great time outside; that's one of the reasons to come to Palm Springs. While any neighbor would prefer a neighbors child (who is on East Coast time) not be playing loudly at 6:30 or 7 AM... no one has (successfully) complained about kids. Who's to say what's too loud. The city writes that "people" Nosie outside is cool between 9 am and 9 pm? Music, on the other hand, is a biggest deal. NO music, at all. And while a child's laughter is open to judgement, music is not. If it's audible outside the house, it's too loud.

Amazing house and location made for a dream holiday

Visiting from the UK, we were initially let down by another vacation company, but fortunately discovered RSP and their fantastic selection of properties. The house was exactly as described, beautifully comfortable inside and incredibly well equipped, right down to the thoughtful touch of pool towels (much appreciated!)That said, the true highlight was the outdoor space, without a doubt the best designed we’ve experienced anywhere we've previously stayed. The design is exceptional, we made great use of the little golf area, relaxed endlessly in the hammock, and spent countless hours in the pool, reluctant to ever leave.We loved Palm Springs and the surrounding areas so much, that it will be somewhere we'll return in future without a doubt.

Two week stay

We were a group of 6 (4 adults and two kids) and stayed here for two sun-filled weeks. The backyard area is WONDERFUL. We enjoyed playing in the pool everyday and all the amenities the backyard had to offer. It's truly a little oasis. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. The indoor living areas were comfortable and accommodating for our group of 6. The reason I'm rating it a 4 is due to the beds and bathrooms. The queen beds were too hard for my elderly parents (they bought a blow-up mattress to put on top and that fixed the problem). We all agreed that the bathrooms could use some work in one way or another. However, the reasonable nightly rate and the wonderful backyard area helped us overlook these needed improvements.

Very Cute

The glass hood over the kitchen range is too far out over the line of the counter and anyone over 5'6" hits their head repeatedly on the corner of the glass while looking down at the food they are cooking. Also, the beds are remarkably hard. Maybe some foam toppers to soften them a bit? Lastly, there are no drawers in either of the smaller bedrooms: when staying for more than a couple days, it's rough to have to dig through your suitcase every time you change. I would suggest clearing the stuff out of the closets and putting some drawers in them. I have to say that the response time to our 2 big maintanence issues was excellent. It would have been nice not to have any issues, but I know that stuff happens. The backyard is awesome and is THE selling point of the property. Very nice.

Reviewer Comments: I would be happy to speak to the owner of Relax if you would like to call me: Chris Hart. I do not believe this should be part of your rental pool, until the owner renovates the second bathroom in the hallway. It is unacceptable with the toilet within the old framed shower stall. There is leakage of some sort, perhaps a seal at the base of this toilet, you get a dank sewer type smell. The house itself was not clean on arrival, the carpet needed to be shampooed in 2 of the 3 bed rooms with large stains. It needs a general thorough deep cleaning, blankets on couches smelled etc. Brad arranged for the carpet to be cleaned day 2 and promptly arranged for the Keurig coffee maker which was broken on arrival to be replaced. There were a could of lights bulbs out and should be checked before rental. The owner should install a water softener. With a could of improvements and a little more cleaning this rental could be made very nice. The exterior areas are attractive, pool. etc. The water that comes out of the tap was milky for the entire 8 days. All included with VRBO fees we paid about $700 USD per night. we were disappointed in the quality fo this rental.

Great house for a family!

This has been my best experience with VRBO yet. The property was clean, the house has a great lay out, and the yard is incredible! The house also came with a lot of indoor games which the kids loved. The pool noodles have seen better days but I imagine the sun/heat destroys them quickly. We brought along a few inflatable pool toys which I'd definitely recommend :) Gregg with the property management company was so helpful in supplying us with an extension cord during our stay so my husband was able to set up an office space and work remotely during part of the trip. The cleaning fee was quite a bit higher compared to other VRBO I've stayed at in the past, however (unlike the other places) we didn't have a huge list of chores to do at the end of our vacation. We are a tidy family in general, and I felt the requests made were very minimal and reasonable. I would love to see the house updated to include hook ups for an electric car, especially since the house has solar already! I highly recommend this property and hope to come back in the future!

Great Place

Beautiful house and backyard - the pool and spa are lovely and heat up very quickly! We got unlucky with a wind advisory while there and the wind was very intense, making the outdoor space unusable for half the week which was a bummer. Nothing anyone can do about it though. The house was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for a group.
