Casa clásica de mediados de siglo de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños, que se cree que fue diseñada por la Escuela de Arquitectos de Sarasota Ralph Twitchell o un seguidor cercano. Está ubicado directamente en el Gran Canal de Siesta Key y está ubicado en un tranquilo y lujoso vecindario.

Intentamos preservar el ambiente de bungalows de la "Florida Vieja" que está desapareciendo constantemente. La luz del sol inunda las ventanas panorámicas desde ambos lados de la casa. Relájese mientras disfruta del jardín subtropical en frente o de la vía fluvial en la parte de atrás. Atraque su bote, deje caer un sedal o practique kayak cuando le apetezca. Está a cinco minutos en bicicleta de la mejor playa de Siesta o al pueblo.

Levanta los pies y disfruta de este maravilloso bungalow en la playa. Decorado con muebles de la época, junto con elementos modernos de diseñadores europeos, hará que quieras quedarte para siempre.

Best vacation house to date!

Beautiful location, very clean, hosts are very accommodating. Close enough to the beach to not be a hassle to get to but far enough away that you can escape if needed. Would recommend.

Heaven on a Key

A true peaceful bungalow in Siesta Key. Perfectly nestled, a little piece of heaven on the Key to disconnect from life’s hustle and bustle. This bungalow is fully equipped (beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, kayaks, games, bbq, etc.). We’ve enjoyed our time here once again, this is our second visit and will be back in 2025. Malia always reachs out during our stay to make sure we have everything we need. We were fortunate to bring our boat this year and enjoyed the comfort of the backyard dock. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home.

What a gem!

Wow! This beach bungalow was everything we were looking for. We liked the decor and overall vibe of this home. It is exceptionally clean and stocked with everything you need for your stay. The location is perfect...quiet neighborhood, close to all the cute shops, restaurants, and grocery store. Most importantly the homeowner, Malia, was so wonderful to work with. She responded to my inquiries promptly, and while we were there she checked in to be sure everything was alright. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved it so much we booked again for next year! Thank you, Malia, for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Annual KW Birthday Pilgrimage and general shenanigans

Loved this place and Malia and the rest. Brought our 21’ Searay and docked it right out back. What a romantic place. All glass at the rear, mostly glass in the front yet private and made for lovers. We had some bad marine weather but we had one of the best times for our annual October Birthday Trip for Sasha Michelle.

Magnificent Mid Century House

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully decorated home in quiet Siesta Key. We were blessed with visits from a couple of dolphins. Very close to the beach, only a 5 minute drive! But we ended up using the house more than we expected. Rhonda and Malia are exceptional, making sure we had everything we needed which was the case. I hope we will have the chance to return!

Siesta Key Grand Canal Property

Absolutely everything one could want for a vacation rental. This house has a unique architecture that is perfect for the setting. The open plan, surrounded by windows, is ideal. The host was more than accommodating and communication was timely. The host has equipped the property with equipment to fully explore the island….bikes and kayaks were supplied. It was a perfect stay. Thank you.

Absolutely delightful home and location!

We vacationed here for two weeks, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely, quiet, very safe neighborhood of well-kept homes. The village is about a 5-minute drive away and very lively, the quiet of the neighborhood was really nice to come home to. We especially enjoyed the patio and deck/dock areas in back of the home. We had coffee here every morning and a glass of wine every evening. Enjoyed watching the boats go by. Malia is an amazing host! We couldn't find the bike helmets, and she had two delivered to us later the same day! The home was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. If we visit in the area again, we will definitely stay here!

Especially loved the outside! Sunroom, patio, and watched boats, ducks, dolphins from private dock!

Great communication with hosts. House as described, fully stocked. The house seven us well but the outside space was by far our favorite! When not at the beach (which is literally 5 minutes away) we soaked up sun and watched the boats (and dolphins!) come and go thru the channel.

Amazing experience

We rented Malia’s beautiful property for the month of March . We loved everything about it! The location is very quiet and peaceful, yet the beach and village of Siesta Key are a short 5-10 minute bike ride away. The house was very clean and had very cool furnishings . Beds were very comfortable . The kitchen was well appointed with quality appliances . Everything was in great working order . We had a minor electrical issue upon arrival, and it was dealt with in a timely manner . Malia was always accessible and went above and beyond to look after us ! We would recommend this property to anyone . It exceeded our expectations - it was even better than the photos depicted !!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Malia’s house! It was clean and just like the pictures. The location was PERFECT— close to everything! Bikes and kayaks made this stay even better being right on the canal! Owner was responsive and always available! Would 100% recommend!!

Great property on the canal

Everything was as listed online. The property was in a quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. Pet friendly which was a huge thing for us. We loved that we were able to bring our boat and not have to trailer it daily. It was close enough to bike to both the beach and downtown Siesta. Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend and be back again.

I am an American designer living in Zurich with my husband and two school-aged children. We truly love staying at our bungalow because of the garden, canal and lifestyle in Siesta Key.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

It is a quiet, low-fi home which helps one relax because it is such a carefree environment. It's canal location is enjoyable from first waking until going to sleep. It is a prime location for Siesta Key as well as Sarasota. It is best suited for a couple, a family of four. For two couples it will be cozy, so be sure you know each other well.
