Can't wait to go back !

We absolutely loved the place. Already planning on going back next year. It was very clean. The kitchen has every small appliance you could want. Good quality cookware if you're into cooking in. Nice comfortable bedding. We had plenty of bath towels. They supply everything you need for the beach. Chairs, towels, umbrella, and even a cart if you need to bring a cart to the beach. The beach is literally right across the street. I would say a three minute walk. There is plenty of free transportation to get around town. It was just my husband and I which I think it's perfect for two people and not so much four people. Only because we tend to bring a lot of clothes and there was no dressers. The one bedroom had a very large wide closet and they do supply some hangers, the bedroom with the king size bed only had a small closet. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. The location is perfect. The owners respond to emails very quickly. We did meet one of the owners and she was very friendly. She seems like she's hands-on with everything which is good. Can't wait to go back!!

Lovely Beach House in SK!

We loved our stay in this lovely little beach rental. The location was absolutely perfect for what we wanted - mere steps to the beach and an easy 20-minute walk to Siesta Key village. The rental seemed brand new- everything was clean and in perfect condition. We had everything we needed to enjoy a 4-night stay from towels to beach chairs to an umbrella, comfortable beds, and even a nespresso machine! Communication with the host was effortless and they made us feel welcomed, answering questions quickly. We would absolutely stay here again! Thanks for a great mini vacay!To address some of the negative reviews: the beach is across the street, as most rentals in SK are. There’s a safe crosswalk right outside the rental. We had plenty of towels and basic needs for four adults. The hosts truly were lovely! I felt very safe coming to and from the rental. We were in unit B and parking is down a short driveway that was well-lit and backing out into the street was not ever an issue. Entry and exit were no problem, as the unit had a digital lock. There were plenty of seating options inside and outside the unit, with a lovely patio space including a table, bar seating, and even a grill that we could use. It was not noisy and privacy was never an issue for us. I did not experience any of the issues stated in the prior reviews. I’ve stayed in questionable rentals in the past and this was certainly anything but. We will definitely try to stay here again during our next visit to SK.

The property was very clean and orderly. Fully stocked and everything seemed very new!

Steps away from beautiful Siesta beach, short walk to the Village with many choices of restaurants, live music and shops. Very safe and lovely area! We had almost everything we needed for our stay, the only thing missing was an ice tray. Either bring your own or buy some ice, either way, it’s not a big deal.

Happy Place

We were there when hurricane Debbie hit. Took down the fence and air conditioners. The owner was there within 30 minutes to have everything fixed. Other than that this is our happy place. We will be bsck

Siesta Key

We enjoyed our stay in Siesta Key and wish we could have stayed longer. The house was very quaint and surprising. It was a wonderful vacation.

Perfect spot!!

We loved this little cottage and would stay again. It literally reminds get across the street from beach and right next door to Trolley stop B. You do not need a car if you stay here. The cottage was well stocked for a small group. Bring your own TP, though!! They had 4 beach chairs, beach towels, a hair dryer, and fan which is not listed in the description.

Mom/Daughter Vacation

Cute, well maintained little cottage. This was nice because it was one of the few original houses left on this street. Location is perfect, walking distance to the beach or Siesta Village. A/C seemed to struggle a bit during the day, however, it is Florida and it was hot, so we just chalked that up to what A/C's are doing all over Florida right now. Nice area to cook out in that included a gas grill. Definitely would stay again.

If you want it bring it. Toilet paper, paper towels and if you want ice without buying it bring ice trays. Not beachfront and not a house. Kitchen is sparely equipped with dishes and cookware. Privacy is nonexistent. Nothing was as advertised

HOUSE WAS VERY SMALL LOCATED BEHIND ANOTHER RENTAL COULDNT SEE ANYTHING AND HAD TO BACK OUT IN STREET!!! THE AMBIENT TEMP WAS 84 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND IT WOULDNT GET BELOW 80 IN THE HOUSE TILL ABOUT 4AM AND THEN STILL WOULD NOT REACH 72 AS ADVERTISED!!!!

Really nice location, clean and convenient!

Very good location near beach. Not much of a view since it is behind another unit but very clean, quiet and private. The owner responded quickly when we checked in. The walkway to beach is directly across the street and very convenient if you need to walk back for snacks during the day. Turn right out on Beach Drive and you are only minutes from the shops and plenty of places to eat. Would definitely go back!

Last time

The location to the beach is wonderful. The rental itself was fine. Stocked and clean. The beach is the nicest one I’ve been on. I enjoy early mornings and watching the sun come up. Being outside the rental was a waste and because the place is surrounded by 4 story condos, you will not see the sun until about 11 am. I committed for 5 weeks. This place is fine for a week.

Frighting first impression

The unit in front, street side is scary at first site. The unit I stayed in was behind the front house. The two houses are old beach houses from I suspect the 1940's. The unit was clean but had a funny smell. There was no hair dryer in the unit. Great location. Extra charge for early check in which is disappointing considering how much they charge for service fee.

Delusional Description-Buyer Beware

This "vintage beach house" is more like a shack, wedged in-between two new, multi-story, multi-million condos. Guest cannot view the beach or the very busy road that runs in front of the property (excluded from description btw). Guest will feel secluded and fearful in the dark driveway leading to the front door rather than the written description that says "WILL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS." Described as "brand new modern appliances" means 5-year-old, rusting, dirty dishwasher. The mice and cockroaches know when food touches any counter and leave guests their excrement as presents. Photos taken. Rat traps around the exterior property explained the ongoing roof scratching noises each of the 4 nights. The "best value" claim is questionable. Calls to numerous waterfront properties was easy!!! The laminate flooring doesn't even meet the wall! I could go on - Shame on you VRBO!

Beach Rd cottage

Everything about the facility was clean and well supplied. I wish they provided dish towels and a couple extra bath towels. It’s not a resort, but quite comfortable. I’d stay again.

Perfect vacation

Absolutely loved staying here. Location was the best. You are right across the street from the beach and walking distance to town. The unit was perfect. 2 bedroom 1 bath full kitchen and great large screen tv in living room. This is our new happy place and will be coming back

The inside of this little vintage cottage was adorable and cozy. Walking distance to the beach and little town! We never drove anywhere once here!! Great stay!! Manager very helpful and accommodating!
