Este fantástico apartamento está en el cuarto piso de un palacio antiguo en el barrio de San Marco. 2 habitaciones dobles y 2 baños completos, muebles exquisitos y una hermosa terraza y comedor en la planta superior. El Penthouse da a todos los lados del palacio y está amueblado con aire acondicionado central, Wi-fi y todas las comodidades modernas. La sala de estar grande y luminosa tiene capacidad para 8 personas y el comedor tiene capacidad para 8 también. La terraza está equipada con sillones y una mesa donde se puede cenar y tomar el sol. Esta es la segunda sala de estar durante aproximadamente 7 meses al año. Las habitaciones son de matrimonio y el dosel dorado con los exquisitos muebles de los siglos XVII y XVIII le dan un carácter único a las habitaciones.
Los baños son de mármol y la cocina está totalmente equipada también para cocineros profesionales. Se puede llegar al apartamento a través de escaleras o un ascensor, y la proximidad con el vaporetto de Sant'Angelo es extremadamente conveniente para el barco de traslado al aeropuerto de Alilaguna y la línea 1 del vaporetto.
En los alrededores, hay un gran supermercado (SIMPLEMENTE) y varias tiendas de comestibles en la "crosera" o "Calle delle botteghe" y "Salizada San Samuele". Hay un famoso restaurante a 200 metros (Acqua Pazza) y varios otros a poca distancia, como Beccafico, Fiore, Bacareto, Rosa Rossa y muchos más.

First visit to Venice

Loved the apartment! Great location and so comfortable. The only issue was that the stove top burners did not light, so we just went to the market (so close) and bought a lighter. No problem at all! A great stay, thanks

Quiet central Location

Kitchen was poor. Old and needs to be refurbished. Tableware lacking. No pasta bowls for cooking at home. No cleaner showed up and no clean linen during 2 week stay, and no communication whatsoever from Red House who operates through VRBO. Pleasant location. Stay here again? Likely not.

Description of features is misleading

The decor was elegant but the features were misleading. First the meet you at your arrival did not happen; there was one person checking in us and others in so we stood in the street for awhile outside of the apartment waiting for her to show up. The features said there was a clothes dryer which turned out to be a small drying rack so we had to hang clothes around the apartment to dry; we had to hunt around for outlets that worked and the mattresses were hard with no mattress pads. Would recommend skipping the elegance and find a place that works.

Ein herrlicher Platz, gerade im Winter

Auf den Rialto-Markt zum Einkaufen, unterwegs einen Spritz nehmen, zur blauen Stunde auf der Dachterasse die Dächer und angehenden Lichter über Venedig bewundern, um anschließend in der toll ausgestatteten Küche gemeinsam köstliche Menüs zaubern. Auch die beiden Schlafzimmer mit den dazu gehörigen Badezimmern waren ideal für uns (2 Paare). Die Lage ist zentral und doch ruhig. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Charming Venetian Penthouse w/Roof Deck

Very convenient to vaporetto stop. Management was responsive and helpful, plus provided great local recommendations. The property is full of old-world Venetian charm, but was comfortable and welcoming for our group of four - two adult couples. The elevator saved us from humping our luggage up the stairs and the layout of the apartment provided privacy for both couples.

Great choice!

We truly enjoyed our time at this property. Everything was exactly as advertised and expected. It was clean and comfortable with a convenient location. Close to the Waterbus stop and a grocery store, walking distance to great shopping, Doges Palace and St. Mark's Basilica. I can't say enough good things about the professionalism and helpfulness of the The Red House Company. They were well organized in providing information prior to our visit, they met us promptly to walk us to the property and went through the entire penthouse with us, made recommendations for restaurants, etc. They were great.

Perfection!

This was our first visit to Venice....everything was perfect from start to finish! The apartment is charming with a rooftop terrace that offers beautiful views of the city. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, and you can’t beat the location! I will be telling my friends that this is the place to stay when visiting this enchanting city!

Wonderful apartment, felt like home . Only thing I would say are the mattresses. They are very different to what us aussies are used to but that is a minor thing as I think most apartments are the same Loved the location, loved the apartment and would definitely stay there next time I go back Five stars 😁

Comfortable Venetian Elegance

Two couples shared this lovely penthouse apartment for a recent week in Venice. The location is wonderful, quiet but well placed. The apartment is on the 4th floor of a building, reachable by a lift. It is close to a good grocery, the vaporetto stop, and Palazzo Fortuny (had a super art show). The living room has comfortable furniture, interesting art, and a wall of books. The bedrooms/bathrooms were situated so there was lots of privacy. The kitchen was very well stocked. It was lovely having the roof deck for watching the sunset or drinking morning coffee. Two negatives - there is not enough light in some areas, particularly the dining room and one bedroom, and there is no railing on the steps to the roof deck and only part of the way from the living room to the dining room.

location, location, location

This apartment is located near the St. Angelo water taxi stop. It is wonderfully comfortable and quiet. A grocery store is a 100 yards away as are 3 wonderful excellent restaurants. Close to St. Marks square and all the sites and the manager is super helpful with water taxi arrangements to and from the airport. Wonderful home to come home to every day.

Amazing Apartment!

We had an amazing stay in the apartment - it was even more beautiful and elegant than the website pictures. The location was great and the roof deck was really cool. When we return to Venice we would definitely look to stay in the apartment again!

Couldn't be happier with our stay!

Everything was spot on perfect, from the booking process and fast commuication to the stay in the Venetian Penthouse. Arriving by boat taxi arranged by the owner, we were met at the boat stop, a short walking distance from the apartment and swiftly guided through it. It is ideally located, central in San Marco yet in an alley, giving privacy and quietness. It is absolutely beautiful and equipped with everything you would need and more, including that awesome rooftop terrace where we enjoyed the sun and the incredible view of the city. We could not be more happy with the place and our overall experience. Will be back, for sure.

Luxury home with a true Venice feel

This is a beautiful property, very spacious for 4 people and comfortable. We enjoyed having supper on the roof terrace. It was so lovely with a great feel to the place that we tended to stay in quite a bit as it was so hot out and the streets were very busy.

Fantastic penthouse apartment in a great location

We were met on the grand canal and taken to our apartment which was about 2 minutes away from the st angelo vaporetto stop. The apartment was very spacious with 2 good sized bedrooms 1 with ensuite shower room and another next to the other bedroom, both were excellent. Super sized sitting room and upstairs a lovely dining room and kitchen, then a super rooftop veranda with great views. Restaurants, cafes and bars we're less than 200 yards away. Rialto bridge, pizzia st marco and academia are all within 10 minutes walk. Overall a stunning apartment in a great location with very helpful owners.

Feeling at home in Venise!

The ideal place to stay in Venice! An amazing appartment close to all the major Venitian highlights. A great combination of the charm of Venice and the comfort of a very cosy home. The interior design and the decoration of the appartment are extremely elegant. The painting, the furniture, the books in the libraries reveal the great taste of the owners. A fantastic place to relax. And a roof terrace which is real treat, with a great view over the campaniles of the neighbourhood. All the details in the appartment will make you feel at home. I found myself finding the things exactly where I would have stored them if I were in my own house. There is plenty of houseware and it is chosen with taste. Everything has been carefully thought. Last but not least... Pietro, who came to pick us from the vaporetto stop, is charming and very helpful if you need information.

Feeling at home in Venice!

Ideal place to stay in Venice! The location is just just right to visit the main highlights of Venice and the appartment is amazing.. The interior design of the appartment is in complete harmony with the charm of Venice and its treasures. The choice of paintings, furrniture and the books in the librearies reveal the great taste of the owners. It is cosy and elegant. A fantastic place to relax. And the roof terrace is a real treat, with an incredible view over the campaniles of the neighbourhood! In the appartment, everything is made to make you feel at home. I found things exactly where I would have stored them if I were in my own house. And there is nothing missing in the abundant houseware. Last but not least... Pietro, who came to welcome us at the vaporetto stop, is definitely charming and most helpful if you need advice.
