Wonderful location with plenty of space to spread out!

We stayed a week here and it was great! There was plenty of space. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The beds for comfy. It was exactly what we wanted in the unit. The location was great right in Waikola village with plenty to see and do, plus a good launching spot for our trips around the island. Michelle was great and all of the logistics of check in, check out, codes, internet connection, etc was extremely smooth.

Loved our staycation!!!

My wife, myself, our daughter, her boyfriend and baby totally enjoyed our staycation at your condo! It exceeded our expectations! From the booking process to checking in/out, was such a breeze! The unit itself was much larger than we expected and loved the fact that we could spread out and enjoy the Lanai and the spacious bedrooms! Will definitely book this unit again in the future! Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Air Conditioning System was down for one day, King bed was not comfortable, Towels were old and smelled like mildew, no linens for pull-out bed, Complex was nice and it is a good location.

Ants and bugs

we enjoyed our stay however we were fighting the ants and the bugs in the bathroom and main bedroom. It was in all our personal things like toothbrushes ECT there was not adequate lighting in the bedrooms specially the main bedroom.

Waikoloa Adventure

We liked the view from the balcony. It was gorgeous. We like the location of the condo in the properties in Waikoloa. We like being at least on the 2nd floor for viewing purposes. The management was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes. There were great beach chairs and water toys. However, The ice maker in the frig did not work. The unit itself needs some updating. The online pictures in the rental information showed the second bedroom looking bigger than it actually was. And it didn't show that it was closed off only by sliding slatted doors. We also assumed that the 2nd bathroom was connected directly to the 2nd bedroom. And the 2nd bathroom was very small - even with ants in the shower. We were disappointed that we did not have two suites. The closet in the 2nd bedroom was so crowded with equipment that there was little room for clothes and luggage storage. The bed in the 2nd bedroom is in serious need to replacing. The toilet in the master bath would not flush unless you held down the handle until the water started to swirl and flush down. The shower head in the master bath would not move so it could not be adjusted. It just hit the wall opposite the shower head. The community pool was average. It is unfortunate that we could not use the other pools in the areas without such an expensive daytime pass. In summary, we felt that for the price we paid for the unit that it should have been updated and in a little better condition.

Aloha and thank you for your feedback. We did check ice maker and it was not pushed in all the way. Once it was, it started making ice and instructed team to double check it after cleaning. The second bedroom is as pictured in our listing with sliding doors that closes it off. This is the original way all Vista condos was built. We will check plumbing issues you had, Hawaii has hard water which is a challenge for shower heads and toilet flappers. Vista Waikoloa has a heated saltwater 75-foot lap pool. Very large pool compared to other developments in the area. Vista Waikoloa B206 is a great condo, large wrap lanai with view of ocean, larger floor plan with lots of room for luggage, etc. And short walk across the street to the beach. Mahalo for your stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent Christmas week 2023 at this property. It is lovely, clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the wrap around lanai; it faces mostly west so it is shady and cool in the mornings and frames a beautiful sunset in the evenings. This property has the best equipped kitchen I've seen in 10 years of renting VRBO's; no need to cook in stages because there weren't enough pans or serving dishes. This kitchen had everything our family cooks needed. The property is well positioned to take advantage of the local pub, the Hilton resort and the Marriott Christmas buffet. We used the pool, hot tub and outdoor grills with great enjoyment. Best of all, everything worked. We highly recommend this property.

We never visited the pool because we went to Mauna Lani Beach Club with my sisters family. So the location was great only a 10 minute drive. The condo was clean, the beds were comfortable. Could maybe use some new pillows. Slept on the pull out couch and was comfortable. Bathrooms were a great size. Even tho the condo is right by the street, you could not hear a lot of traffic. Short walk to the shops. When ever I called Michelle, she answered and was very pleasant and answered all my questions. The Christmas lights on the palm tree was a nice touch. I will definitely stay her again. It was my first time to Hawaii and I'm pretty sure I will come again. My sister and son stayed for 3 adults there was plenty of room

Beautiful view. Older unit. Needs updating.

The kitchen needed new pans, etc. The unit had faded couches and furniture. The view was wonderful and the price was good.

Amazing view!

Wonderful location and such a beautiful view from the lanai. We fell asleep to the sound of the surf. Everything we needed was here except beach chairs!

The only thing that bothered us were the tiny ants in the bathrooms. I used the ant traps under the sink but they did not seem to work. They also wanted us to squeegee the shower but there was no squeegee. Thanks

Beautiful view and spacious, but that’s where it ends.

This was a nice property to go home and sleep in. It was spacious, with a beautiful ocean view lanai, and a fully functioning kitchen. The check in process was extremely easy, and made even more so with an app you download where all relevant info is kept. Great bonus! Unfortunately that’s where the plus column ends. The aesthetic was extremely dated, as well were many of the amenities. The master suite was fine, but don’t be fooled into thinking this is a two bedroom place. The second bedroom offers NO privacy as it has sliding, overlapping, country shutter-like doors that open to the main space, with huge gaps in between the doors, leaving it open to hearing everything from both areas. The place was infested with tiny sugar ants. They were everywhere. And the washer/dryer needed replacing as they were difficult to use and made a ton of noise.... On top of that, there were little notes everywhere with tons of caveats, and when we called for assistance for the lockbox and other things, no one came. Unfortunately, while in a beautiful place, with nice views, this rental space was disappointing and extremely overpriced for what it was.

Aloha and thank you for your feed back. Manager went to unit right after your departure and lock box was working. We will have washer and dryer looked at. We address ant issue and take care of it. This unit has a great view and a great location with an amazing charm. Photos on website is current and unit has everything you need for a amazing Hawaiian vacation.

The washing machine needs to be replaced. It was very frustrating to use. Helpful would be information about nearby activities. Such as dolphins, and beaches nearby.

Aloha, I understand the TV /cable and Roku can be frustrating to use. Most of our TVs are "Smart" and switching between Roku and Cable can be difficult. We certainly will put in more detailed instructions. So sorry about the overhead light/fan in the livingroom ,we will fix that right away. I am so happy to have met you ladies and helped with the TV issues and really apologize for any inconvenience. We are glad you appreciated the great clean condition and the lovely ocean view.
