Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great stay. We’ve rented at summerhouse before and always love it. Crescent beach is so relaxing. I would say this unit in particular could be updated a bit. A door on the bathroom in the master bath would make things so much nicer. The bed frame in the master bedroom has horrible. It was so high off the ground and stuck out far and a hazard for the young child we brought with us. It was kind of a fall/trip hazard in general for older people too.

Put a larger TV in the living room and put the living room TV in the bedroom replacing the very small TV. A king bed in the master would be a great improvement. Lastly an ice maker would also be great.

Family Beach Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have 7 siblings. We range in age from 55 to 70. This was our tenth year of meeting for Beach Week at Summerhouse with our families, usually 25-30 of us renting 6 condos. Having grown up in Florida, we have been to many beach resorts and Summerhouse is by far the best! Extremely well maintained, beautiful units, wonderful landscaping, and helpful and courteous staff. We chose unit 425 this year so we would have 3 bedrooms, it was terrific! My favorite thing about Summerhouse is the back sliding door on the flats open out to lush, thick, very green grass, kids can play, and the pool is just a few steps away. Kitchens are well-equipped, excellent washers and dryers in all units, patio furniture. The ONLY thing I would change is to have cleaning crew turn down the refrigerator temps on days when they know new tenants are arriving. We typically pack the fridge on the first day and it takes a day or two to get really cold.Was afraid I'd have to actually throw some stuff away this year. But this is trivial in comparison to how wonderful this place is. I have recommended Summerhouse to many friends and acquaintances! See you next year!

Matanzas is walking distance and fishing in the inlet. Etc. We tried two local restaurants and were pleasantly surprised. Seafood Kitchen on A1A a busy place but was worth the wait. Viola's was wonderful. Greeted by owner at door and great staff, also a busy place but they will take reservations.
