Luquillo 30 millas al este de Luis Muñoz Marín Intl. Aeropuerto, hogar de una de las playas más bellas del mundo. El complejo Playa Azul cuenta con piscina, canchas de baloncesto, tenis y balonmano, mesa de pin pong, biblioteca y área de juegos para niños (actualmente en proceso de renovación). Playa Azul frente al complejo.

Cerca encontrará excelentes restaurantes y alquileres de actividades en la playa (snorkel, buceo, vela, surf, pesca, kayak, excursiones de dinggie, excursiones en barco. Visite la bahía en flor es de 10 millas al este en Fajardo, o tome un ferry en Ceiba, a Vieques o Culebra. Actividades adicionales cerca de Luquillo, PGA Golf Course, cabalgatas, canopy tours, caminatas, casinos, cinturones. La selva tropical El Yunque está a solo 12 minutos, allí tendrá la oportunidad de apreciar la vista, las cascadas y la selva tropical.

Great location with beach access and close to rainforest as well as airport/cruise terminal. Reasonably priced. Host was very easy and accommodating, no long list of rules or “to do’s”. Front desk security were very helpful with recommendations. Lots of parking. Enjoyed beach chairs.

Convenient location on the beach

The apartment was neat and clean. It had just enough amenities for us to have a comfortable 3-night stay. The shower was just right!The location is convenient as it is across the highway from a grocery store, directly adjacent to a nice beach area, and walking distance to a convenience store, bakery, and bar. By the way, the convenience store will sell you fresh frozen piña coladas over-the-counter!The pool was clean, but bring your own seating as there were only a few chairs. Note that you can't get back into the gate from the beach after 7PM and it is a long walk around the block.If you get the opportunity, go to Sama restaurant down the road from the complex. It is a fine dining experience with ocean views. The lock on the front door can be quite tricky., But we eventually figured it out. Also, the air conditioning works better if you push on the front door slot windows from the outside to make a seal. If you want to sit out on the balcony, you'll need to turn off the air conditioning units.Overall, we had a great experience. It was a comfortable stay, only 15 minutes from the rainforest, and close to lots of amenities.

We happen to be there during sargassum season. They were tall piles of it on the beach and lots of it in the water, but it didn't stink, thankfully.

Family time

The price was not too bad so I didnt expect anything super fancy. The inside looks like the listing in general. Cute decor. Luquillo is lovely and the exterior facilities like pool, outside tennis etc were nice and convenient. It was great to have the pullouts to sleep 3 each in their own bed. Shower and water worked well. Relatively easy to get in. Great quick walk down to the pool or beach. Generally nice condo facility though the outside looks a bit rough. Immediate area good but definitely was thankful we had rented a car as limited options in the area. Many basic amenities expected at an air bnb were mostly missing or broken upon arrival (1/2 roll of tp, paper towel; broken wifi cable/no wifi, coffee pot, slider door, etc.) No garbage disposal and sink backed up every time it was used. Fridge and overhead had many expired items upon arrival, exteriors of kitchen items were quite dirty, and the washer/dryer sounded quasi broken (was very loud) but seemed to work. Questions were answered after many hours but the host seemed nice and the most basic info was readily available within the app if you looked for it.Overall decent and good for the price

Great place to stay!

Me and my three teenage kids stayed here for 7 day and had a great time. It was better than staying at a hotel or resort because it had all the amenities of home. The beach was a 2 minute walk through a fantastic court yard (activity area) and was beautiful and not over crowded. The neighborhood and the surrounding areas were fantastic. Overall 10 out 10 would definitely stay here again.

What a gem….

Easy 40 minute drive from the airport and in such a coveted location. We loved our stay here. The apartment was exactly as described. Nice and secure with simple checkin process.Private beach access was a blessing. The waves were insane during our stay but portions of the bay are protected by coral reefs.10 minutes to the rain forest access road and snorkeling/diving trips just 20 minutes away.The locals were awesome and we can’t wait to head back later this year. Amazing food options within walking distance. Carbstill recomended.

Big condo complex on the beach

The listing accurately describes this condo located in a large, 3-building, safe-feeling complex right on the beach. The complex itself was a bit restrictive, for example, the pool closed at 7pm, and we couldn't go swimming later in the evening. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to Luquillo, and about 30 minutes the other way to the Luquillo kiosks. The condo was comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was a nice balcony overlooking the complex grounds and the sea off to the north. The host was responsive to our messages and had some good restaurant recommendations. We're giving only 4 stars primarily because the washer wasn't working; we didn't realize this until loading the machine and putting soap in. We notified the host; she knew about the washer not working, and we felt there should have been an "out of order" sign on it or other means of notification before we committed to doing laundry. All in all, a very good stay.

PR Get away

The unit was clean, comfortable, and adequately supplied with all of the basic essentials. The 5th floor balcony had a decent view of the ocean and the mountains! A plus was having beach chairs with a 5min walk to the beach. Mariel was an excellent host and provided prompt help when the unit lost internet connection. and a washerschairs

Awesome getaway in Luquillo, PR

Beautiful property, very secure and well maintained, the security staff and residents are amazing, I felt so cared for, they went above and beyond in making me feel welcomed like family. My only issue was I did not have a car, had to uber around or walk to get food, need more restaurants closer to where I was staying

Perfect location

This is the perfect location nestled between the beach and rainforest. People are so friendly around here. The building security is great and the grounds are clean and well kept. Washer and dryer are a huge plus. I would highly recommend staying here.

Overall nice property

Overall nice property, construction going on so don't plan to sleep in. Internet went out midway through visit. Contacted all 3 numbers left and received no response. Last day it rained heavily and leaked water through windows.

Clean, quiet and safe!

This place is clean and quiet. You can see the beach from the balcony. The washer and dryer are a plus. We did not cook, but plenty of cookware was there. Lots of excellent restaurants within a short drive or medium walk. We hope to come again!

Amazing location

It is a terrific location -- the pool area is beautiful, direct access to the beach, walking distance to several places to eat, longer walk or short drive to Luqillo Beach and the kiosks as well as a lovely downtown area with lots of restaurants. The apartment was clean and comfortable, but not updated. The internet was down when we were there, but the manager gave us a discount on one of the nights since they couldn't fix it in time.

Perfect for our needs

This rental met our needs perfectly! We enjoyed the pool, close proximity to the beach, and had we known would have even brought our pickle ball racquets; however, we feel this rental was exactly what we wanted/needed. The proximity to stores, kioskos, activities, etc made this extremely desirable. We felt quite safe with the gate access throughout the property, beaches, and more. Our only suggestion would be to have a small lamp in the living room, since the overhead lights were too bright for enjoying some relaxing evening time. Otherwise the staples, linens, cleanliness, was perfect! Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your place. We hope to come back again in the future. Blessings!

Relaxing vacation on the beach

This property is very nice and clean. Our favorite part is that it is right on the beach. We felt secure because it is gated and you need a key to get in the building. The unit has all the amenities that you need.
