The host was great. When i had questions they responded quickly and were very helpful. Out of all the places i have stayed on the island, this was hands down the best. The view is amazing, the room seemed like it has been newly renovated. Would definitely stay here again!

Stunning apartment, we had a hicup at checked in but Elvis was very accomodating and in constance communication. I will definitely be staying in this property in the near future.

My family and I were very happy with this true penthouse on the top floor of Sandy hills building. The unit was very nicely updated, had AC throughout, and had amazing views of the beach, town, and jungle. There was even a pack and play in the unit that the host let us use. The host, Elvis, was very helpful with any question we had. This rental is walking distance to many great restaurants. The pool was not operating during our stay but the ocean was very warm. We loved being able to walk outside our door for beautiful long beach walks. The best and consistently calm swimming beaches in Luquillo are probably a 6 minute drive away. On a calm day you can find good swimming within walking distance

We had a bit of an issue at check in, but ultimately got situated. The inside of the condo was lovely and the view unmatched. The air conditioner was welcomed at the end of each day. The neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges, but lots of delicious local restaurants to be found.

Great views and location

Wonderful for both beach and rainforest! Everything inside was clean and comfortable. We arrived late and it was a little tricky getting in: we didn’t realize we needed to drive up the ramp for parking. But Elvi was there and helped us find our way.

Family vacation in Luquillo

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The view from the balcony was amazing!!! The condo was clean and the beds were very comfortable. This was a great place for us to base our stay as we ventured out on excursions to El Yunque, Ceiba, and Luquillo Beach. We never had any issues with the water temperature or not having electricity.

Lovely time in Luquillo

We loved the penthouse with the Tiki bar. The location was great for trips to the rainforest, the kiosks, and kayaking in bioluminescent bay in lajardo. It was a one hour drive to San Juan City where the forts were. We had no problems with the rental at all.

Everything we hoped for

Such an amazing condo! We walked in and just felt at rest. Elvis did an great job renovating the place and the pictures dont do the view justice. Elvis was always responsive to questions, no issues with communication. If we ever come back to PR, we would stay here again without question!

My husband, teenager, and I enjoyed the stay and property. It was clean, minimalist, modern, and included up-to-date appliances. Sitting on the balcony and taking in the ocean and birds, was my favorite space. The secure property and Elvis' attentiveness provided peace of mind and allowed us to come and go with ease. Thank you for providing a peaceful, beautiful space for us.

Paradise on the ocean

Perfect place to chill and unwind. The condo had everything we needed for a two week stay. The host, ( Elvis ) checked on us to make sure that we were good. Also to see if we needed anything. What a wonderful guy. Lots of activities to do in the area. From mountains to beaches. I look forward to the next time I come back. VRBO also was great to deal with.

Absolutely beautiful!

The views from the 21st floor of this penthouse were absolutely stunning. We were so happy to find this listing and we were amazed by how everything looked exactly like the photos...honestly better in person. The location is ideal if you want constant beach and chill vibes, Luquillo is the place to be. The view of El Yunque is on one side of the building and the gorgeous beach is on the other. I would definitely book this place again. Elvis was polite and responsive wheneever we had a question or concern. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

What a view!

We had an amazing stay at Elvis’ condo in Luquillo, Puerto Rico! The condo was clean, with a beautiful view that made our mornings so enjoyable. It was perfect for our family of four. We loved watching the surfers from the balcony—it was such a unique experience! Luquillo Beach was just a short distance away, and we appreciated the variety of restaurants within walking distance.While the building itself is on the older side, it’s very clean, and the management company clearly takes great pride in maintaining it. They’re also in the process of updating the elevators, which shows their commitment to improvements. This place had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Luquillo views

Apartment is as organized and clean as a hotel suite. I enjoyed having the view at all times of day. Our 3 year old used the pool and we enjoyed several walks on the beach. For swimming we drove to Luquillo beach most days, or you could ferry to other islands, visit other calmer spots nearby. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants and cafes in close walking distance. Of course there is the rainforrest and San Juan nearby too. We love all that we could do from this home base and appreciated having the ocean waves sounding all day and night.

Such a gorgeous condo!

This was truly a beautiful and well maintained condo. The patio being the full length of the condo is unreal, with the beautiful covered roof, we were out there often and enjoyed the fun bar, TV, and incredible view. Comfortable rooms, nice shower, all in one washer/dryer isn’t ideal but is so nice to have laundry in/unit. The building a whole was clean but could use a lot of updating. Seemed like they were working towards that. The 6pm cut off of the pool and beach door access was a bit early for us, but it didn’t hinder our stay. We loved being on such a gorgeous beach as well as an easy walk to other gorgeous beaches. We loved it, and would recommend!

Great Getaway for Working-vacation

This location and let you know was a perfect combination of fun and relaxation for anyone looking to work while on vacation. It was far enough from the action that you would not be distracted but had local activities scheduled throughout the week allowing opportunity to interact with the locals and to enjoy the culture of Puerto Rico. Property is a bit older but the unit was updated and new. Property could use some enhancements in the areas of railings, spatial upkeeping, etc. Overall very natural setting and every person you meet is kind and accommodating. About 30 to 45 minutes away from San Juan depending on the traffic. Would definitely stay again.

Loved the place but we had no hot water!!

We would of enjoyed our stay if it wasn’t for the cold showers!! Elvis did offer some compensation but at the end he would not return our calls and messages. We were very disappointed in the lack of response. It would of been kind if we at least heard back from him and not be ignored.

Hi Darlene, I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the apartment aside from the hot water issue. Plumbing and electrical issues like this can arise unexpectedly and cannot be planned for. Prior to your stay I have never had an issue that would have brought the issue to my attention. Once I was made aware of the issue, I sent a plumber to the unit immediately and determined it was an electrical issue. By the time I was able to get an electrician to stop by you were already out enjoying the last day of your trip and I did not want to inconvenience you. I offered to compensate you for your trouble but by the time you got back to me it was too late to process the refund. We communicated numerous times during and after your stay and I do not feel like I failed to respond or ignored you at any point. You were great renters and we would love to have you back again in the future.

Beautiful condo, tragic building

The condo itself is amazing sans a few needed touch up’s around a/c, but it’s ocean front so that’s expected. Elvis had great communication. However, elevator is in terrible condition and barely works, pool/hot tub (we were planning on using with a six year old) hasn’t been open in quite some time. Building management acknowledged each of these as reoccurring issues. Overall if you’re just going to sit and enjoy the insanely awesome views and condo itself I’d say go for it. If you’re going to be in and out stay clear unless you have in writing that the typical amenities of a 21st story penthouse (working elevators, working pool and generally better accommodations) are fully functioning. All of this was communicated to Elvis often and he did respond.
