Had we known

The owner should stay for at least a week to see ALL the upgrades it needs. Needs some TLC. When booking we were not aware of all the construction, therefore making it not relaxing.

Nice property in need of TLC

Totally agree with last few reviews… great property potential, but maintenance and cheapness/cutting of corners really detracts from the rest. Went to grill, despite char marks on the brick wall behind it, and the grate fell into the burners - obviously knock-off replacement parts. Buy some dish towels and decent pots/pans! No furniture on upstairs patio is lame (especially because it is there in pictures). No garage door remote renders it useless. Needing to message back and forth for the hot tub is ridiculous - put in a timer. The pool area was covered in dirt - exacerbated by local construction. When we arrived, there were towels drying on chairs out back - weird… like the cleaning crew quit midway thru. Bring TP as there is not enough (again cheap!). We had a good stay as these things were easy to manage around, but it is frustrating to see how easily this could have been a great property.

Poor attention to detail

I want to start off by saying we’re pretty easy going and didn’t allow the deferred maintenance or the non existent cutlery to interfere with the enjoyment of our vacation. I was conflicted with even leaving a review but ultimately decided with collected opinion of family that I’d have enjoyed a better warning myself. Positives were definitely that overall it’s a decent property and the host was responsive with the turning on and off of the pool/hot tub heater. However this place has menace amounts of deferred maintenance. Which could probably have been overlooked until you add it to the major neglect of attention to detail. For starters the kitchen doesn’t have a utensil in it that does not appear to have came from the dollar store. There was not really a usable pan in the entire place, every single one is deeply scratched with peeling teflon (highly dangerous & causes cancer when consumed). We ended up buying one green pan and just leaving it. There wasn’t a mixer or even a blender for smoothies or margaritas?? Which seems to be basic staples at most places. Also, bought and left for next person (you’re welcome). One dish towel for the entire week. Most items needed re-washed. Yuck. Not a single sandwich bag, tin foil, plastic wrap, hell lids for any kind of tipper ware, spices ??? Again we left a few things to help the next vacationer, but it was just strange. The pool has nothing for a kid to play with (we left a few dive toys). None of the bedrooms have tvs ? Again we didn’t come to watch TV but strange . Master bedroom deck has zero furniture for sitting. The beds, well, have the worst pillows I’ve literally ever used. Bring your own ( I didn’t know the dollar store sold pillows , but they must) The BBQ looks like a it has lit the fence wall on fire. All kid friendly items such and pack man (red controller falls off when using), basketball (entire electronics is broke), and foosball (be very careful when keeping score they just fall apart) are all hanging on by a thread !! There is no wifi speaker, we were unable to even log into our “own” Netflix . Not to mention toilet paper holder falling off wall, door handles loose and falling apart , loose boards on deck by pool, cracked tiles, broken blinds, ohh and missing blinds completely in master bathroom. Luckily I’m not modest but kinda strange to get out of tub to a construction crew just outside your wide open window. 🥴 Again, we had a wonderful Vacation, but know what you’re booking.

Great home and host.

The home itself was perfect for my friend’s bachelorette party and the property manager was great to work with. However, the security guard at the gate harassed a member of our party and would not let her in the neighborhood even when being escorted by someone designated as a “driver.” They were stranded outside the gate for over an hour. If you stay here, I recommend ensuring that you have a rental vehicle and all members of the party are arriving together to make sure there’s no trouble.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Osa. It was a modern, clean space with plenty of room for a family of 5. The pool and hottub were great and Anthony was a great host who was always very prompt answering any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying here if you visit the desert!

Great Stay!

We had a great time at this property. Very spacious, very clean, pool and hot-tub were excellent. You did have to contact the person to have them turn on the hottub but they responded immediately so no issue at all there. Would definitely stay again!

Great property with a few annoyances.

Overall, this place was great and the owner was overall responsive. I didn't know that we would need to contact the owner each time we wanted to use the hot tub or heat the pool, so that was annoying to have to plan ahead or wait a bit for him to respond, though he was relatively quick. The outlets in the extra bedrooms didn't work at all, which was frustrating, especially for our son who wanted to charge/use his devices. The pool and hot tub lights flickered/were not working, so it made it a bit dark in the evenings when using the hot tub/pool, and the main outdoor lights went off at 10:00pm, so that too was frustrating to have to be in the dark. Lastly, there is no garage remote or gate remote to enter the property, which meant that we spent almost 30 min waiting to get into the property on New Year's Eve and 5--10 min other times. Having said all that, the place is cozy, spacious, has fun games and the property is nice to walk around. It has a nice relaxing outdoor space, with plenty of seating (there is no 'formal' table and chairs indoors except for stools at the bar). I do recommend this property, but folks should be aware of the gate and hot-tub expectations. I'm sure the power/lights issue is a simple fix for the next folks who stay there.

Perfect getaway and the house was large and pool was perfect. Communication was unbelievable

The house was great and we truly enjoyed it. Any question, I received an immediate response. My only comment is that its obvious full time rental so missing some every day items I would use to cook. Also, interior paint job was poorly done but did not impact my stay at all!

Gorgeous home

We had a great time at the house. Easy check in and backyard with pool is very private. Kitchen had everything we needed and loved that a huge market was just a short 5 min drive to the house. Would stay here again!
