Summer House Beach condo

Great space for the whole family with easy beach access. Location is near lots of shops & restaurants. Kids loved the pools. Make sure you bring your own beach towels, chairs, umbrella and toys (none provided).

Perfect Vacation

Absolutely loved our stay at 404 B. Spacious master bed and bath with balcony access was so nice. The balcony was nicely furnished and a great size for a large family.

the location was perfect, the house was clean, the beds were comfortable. the only thing, and this is just a me thing, too many mirrors. overall it was great and i would definitely stay again.

Great Girls Trip

We had a great time on our girls trip. Very clean, no signs of mice as mentioned in earlier posts. Everything was very clean, well stocked, easy access to beaches and everything else. We enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

This property is in a great location and the kids really enjoyed the pool. There was plenty of room for all of us in the condo and we enjoyed the grass area to play catch and let the kids run when we aren't on the beach. The balcony was perfect for relaxing and watching the dolphins. Overall the condo was great for our vacation.

Beach Please!!!

We had a fantastic time staying at this property!! The pictures were an accurate representation and the home fit our group nicely!! Easy access to the beach was perfect and the pool was great. The property felt private but still easy access to beach, restaurants and shopping. The check-in process was super easy and efficient. We loved the easy checkout process and that it didn’t have a giant list of chores to do! We will definitely plan to stay again!

Beach vacation

The location was OK a lot of traffic the home was fairly clean but not as clean as my family would’ve liked it notice several places need to be touched up and painted the floor. He couldn’t walk out without getting your feet black but overall it was a nice day.

Great Stay

We stayed a week in this condo. Overall it was a great stay. The condo building was not extremely clean and maintained but the condo was clean and comfortable. Great view from the balcony and had pretty much everything we needed. My only negative feedback is that none of the lights worked in the livingroom so it was dark in there at night. Tried replacing the bulbs but still would not work. The condo overall was nice and we enjoyed our time. Great easy access to the beach!

Not Clean

Mold located through out the condo, dirty floors, and moldy showers. Needs updating in kitchen area. Would not recommend this unit.

Good beachfront condo

Overall, we enjoyed this condo. It was clean and beds were comfortable. The guest bathroom could use some updating/remodeling and the kitchen is missing some useful items (the basics are there and plenty of dishes/silverware!). Well furnished beachfront balcony. We did have one issue on arrival. The shower liner in the guest bathroom had lots of mildew/mold spots on it and really needed to be replaced. Vacasa took care of that VERY QUICKLY once it was brought to their attention. This is my second trip booking with Vacasa, and I have had good experiences working with them.

Bleh...

The property looks larger and nicer in photos. We arrived to beds that clearly weren’t washed as there was sand on the beds. Floors were dirty with sand etc as well. Refrigerator was in poor shape. We couldn’t figure out how to turn on the vacuum (apparently the cleaners don’t know either 😞) and The rental agency was of no help. Way overpriced. Would never stay here again.

Great concept but failed on delivery

I booked through VRBO as I typically do all our vacations wasn't an issue. However when I was then directed to Vacasa, the problems started. They take 24 hours at least to respond to any requests or questions. I was disappointed with their service before we went and during our stay. Let's talk about the condo. PROS: Great location Awesome views Spacious CONS Dirty floors, kitchen and furniture Limited parking due to construction leaking toilet (which I reported & was attempted repair only to be fully broken by the plumber leaving 8 ppl with 1 toilet for 24 hrs) Cockroaches fridge needs replaced as it has rust & mildew icemaker struggles & is very noisy black on ceilings dirty dishes If none of the CONS bother you, then this condo is made for you !

Beware: serious mice problem

The condo is nice and the view is great! However, there is a terrible mice problem! We bought groceries when we arrived like most people, and when we woke up the next morning, a mouse had eaten our bread. We tried to hide the food put the mice still managed to ge to it. One of our guest slept on the couch one night and heard the mice running and playing all night long! The master toilet was also not flushing properly, but someone did come out quickly to fix it. He just wasn’t able to do anything about the mice. We were told when we called that management was aware of the mice issue but it had gotten worse. The condo is nice and the area is nice if you don’t mind sharing with the rodents!

Rats

While the condo is decorated beautifully the rodent infestation was a no go for us. We booked this condo for 7 days (Friday to Friday) and ended up leaving on Tuesday because of rats. Management was aware of the infestation and rented the condo knowing this. We saw our first rat on Monday and immediately called about the issue. They sent someone over right away and was informed by that person that it was a known problem and they needed 'bigger' traps as the ones already set were not working. I called on Tuesday to inform Vacasa that we were checking out and wanted someone to contact me regarding this issue. I have yet to be contacted.

Poor customer service

We booked from a Thursday until Sunday. From day one we notice the AC was not working. We tried to deal with it but decided on the final day to call so we could get a comfortable nights rest for the drive home. The agent was very inconsiderate with no intention on helping fix the issue. We called repeatedly for 12 hours and wasted the last day of our trip, that we paid for, on the phone and couldn’t enjoy our stay. We were told to do the same thing over and over even though we told them it wasn’t working. They continued to try and get our group to provide labor for them and refused to call a maintenance technician. Finally at 7 pm they called maintenance and come to find out the AC unit was broke and required service. We did not receive an apology and wasted a complete day of our vacation dealing with this. Customer service was awful and I would not recommend dealing with this agent.

Wonderful time at the beach

It was comfortable, nicely decorated, and well stocked with kitchen items, towels, puzzles, etc. The porch had a table and chairs plus nice chairs to relax in. I have a few comments, and these are not complaints, just helpful comments, I hope. A mouse visited us the first night and got into some fruit we left on the counter. Later we saw a set mouse trap in the closet. It would have been helpful to know when we got there not to leave fruit, bread and crackers out. Also, the pillow shams in the master BR need mending. And, the porch door in the living room apparently doesn't lock. There is mildew on the master BR ceiling that probably needs to be addressed. And, the LR floor should be mopped occasionally as well as swept or vacuumed. It looked clean, but our feet got really dirty walking around on it. I loved this unit, and would like to stay here again, so I am just trying to be helpful!

Nice vacation home

We had lots of space to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. It is a busy place with lots of people coming and going. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the board games and sand toys provided. It does say there is a basketball court which they no longer have it was destroyed by a hurricane they told us. Overall it was a nice stay.

Summer House 404b

Summer House has always been a wonderful place to vacation. Our family has never stayed any other place. The units are spacious (love the large balconies), and everyone goes out of their way to be helpful. They make you feel like family. We will be back soon!

Lovely Condo

The condo is very pretty and well stocked. You can't ask for a prettier view from the balcony. We are very grateful to have been able to celebrate Thanksgiving here.
