View was beautiful! There was road construction going on in front of condo, master bedrooms boxspring had something wrong with them, if you rolled over at night everyone could hear it lol. The dishwasher was never mounted so hard to use. The dryer would not always dry clothes. The elevators at this place were crazy I bet we average 2 hours a day waiting and riding them things. The tv remotes wouldn’t work in 2 room and tv didn’t work in master. I think that’s it lol

Awful! Broken fridge. Broken promises. Bandage fix on the ac. None working television and the shows that did work weren’t in English even with an English setting. Small elevators with long wait times.

1 of the best vacations we had so far....

We loved our view...and how nice the staff was ....room was spacious and had everything we needed to cater to our family and friends... it was my birthday and they let us have guest with no trouble ! I really appreciated that . Pools was nice they have clean restrooms right next to pool ... gave us complimentary beach service for our whole stay. Baby I have no complaints. Me and my family will be returning every summer to this place . We loved every min and made lots of beautiful memories together . Thanks Vacasa.

The pictures are very deceiving. First we received a call before we left that we would have to provide our own comforters for the beds which is very inconvenient to pack 3 big comforters. When we arrived we quickly realized how deceiving the pictures are. The couches are covered with really slouchy couch covers that are obviously old. There was not much silverware so we were constantly washing them. The fridge shelves fall apart is you touch them. The air does not work no matter how many times you reset it or get someone to “fix” it. We ended up spending tons of money buying fans to circulate the air. The twin “beds” are metal cots. The master bed squeaks when you move a toe. The decor is awful and desperately needs updating. The washcloths felt more like exfoliating. The elevators were absolutely the worst part. We never waited less than 15 minutes for an elevator. If we did it was full and had to wait even longer. There desperately needs to be a better system for that if possible. We took the stairs most of the time which is very inconvenient considering how much we pay to vacation and its 14 flights. The wrist bands that open the doors break and fall off constantly. From parking to getting to the room took about 30-40 minutes and vice versa. It was the biggest hassle to go anywhere. We will never stay here again.

Nice place to stay

It was a nice condominium with all the amenities it offered. I would say the 6 digit code for our condo is a little ridiculous, 4 digits would be more ideal so you don't have to keep your phone on you. Will say the place needs a good cleaning. Black mold in the shower around shower caddy, there was hair from past renters in the shower as well and the shower/tub overall just looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. Black rims around the toliet bowls. The fitted sheet on one of the twins was not on the bed just laying on top of it because it did not fit the bed. So since there was no extra twin sheets we had to use the sheet for the king bed to cover it up so my friend wouldn't have to sleep on a nasty mattress. Also the couch in the living room has so many stains on it and looked so gross that I would not even sit on it without laying a towel down first. We were warned about the elevators but did not think it would be that bad! We had to wait 20 to 25 minutes for an elevator (not exaggerating on the time, you really have to wait that long) and you are on the 14th floor. I booked with vrbo but they use vacasa and I will have to say that it was kind of annoying on how much they contacted me. Usually when I book with vrbo you just respond to the email and go to your destination. But with Vacasa I got like 5 calls from them and a ton of emails and had to respond to all of them or they would have canceled my reservation. Also you do hear everything from the people next door and above you, everytime a toilet is flushed in other condos I would hear it. But great location!

Family Vacation.

Wonderful!

We had an amazing time! Location was close to everything! The complimentary beach chairs/umbrella was amazing! The condo has everything we needed in it! The kids loved the room with the 2 twin beds just for them!!! Will definitely be back again!!

Frustrating stay

The charge for the "professional " cleaning should be removed because we couldn't even walk barefoot in the house without our feet turning black, elevator situation was a complete disaster, our dryer broke and nobody ever came to fix it so we couldn't even wash towels and of course they won't give you extra. Will not be back. Will not recommend anyone to stay there. Way too many extra charges for nothing.

Building/Location is nice. Unit is not.

Tidewater is a little dated but location, beach and amenities are great. Vacasa and Tidewater staff are friendly and communication was great. The unit however desperately needs some TLC. The carpets in both bedrooms are heavily stained and well beyond normal wear and tear. The twin “beds” in bedroom #2 are just metal cots. No box frames, with thin mattresses. No comforters provided in February so it was cold at night. Appliances don’t all work as they should. Condo smells like a smoker lived there for years and tried to cover it up. Furniture is beat up. TVs are just sad. We still had a great time because we were always at the beach or out having fun. But we had fun in spite of the accommodations, not because of them. With some money this could all be fixed.

Great Spot for family fun

The property was cleaned thoroughly but there were stains on the furniture and carpets that were very baked on. Obvious signs of high usage as things are chipped, bits missing and cracked. BUT — who cares! View was amazing, location was perfect. Beach was epic. Outside pools are very nice, indoor one not so much but still nice to have if the weathers not playing ball. The place has a good vibe, family friendly and lots of staff about if you need help.

Super friendly staff and residents!!

Great stay!! Was all as advertised. Dryer didn’t dry the best in one cycle, and we had to wait a bit for the elevators. But we expected that from past reviews. Great facilities, friendly staff, and residents. We will look it up again if we are ever in the area!!

Awesome condo

When we arrived at Tidewater we were impressed by the amenities and cleanliness they had to offer. Our condo was just as promised. We walked in to a spotless condo that smelled clean. We loved the beach and city view and had everything we needed. The beach is so close to the condo so we didn’t have to trek for miles to enjoy the beach or beach chairs. Great location for eating, shopping and fun. We would definitely stay here again!

Fall break

Room and amenities were great. Great location. The elevator wait time is real. Most times you’ll be waiting on an elevator and wait times can get long. Overall very pleased.

Girls trip

I have to say Tidewater took extra precautions with cleaning during this Pandemic. It even smelled cleaned in the elevators. The negatives would have to be elevator wait times but what are you gonna do? There was some drainage backup in the master bathroom sink and tub but that can be easily fixed. The room was excellent and we had a great time and appreciated the calls to make sure we had what we needed.

Hotel in General Sucks

The room itself was fine, but the hotel in general was not. The elevators were SLOW. The management never did anything about it. There are 30 floors and only 4 working elevators on each floor. But they had 7 on each floor. The average wait time for an elevator was 30 minutes. When you have two small kids and someone in your group who had knee surgery a couple months ago, taking the stairs is not an option we want to use. We were on the 14th floor so it’s not like it was a piece of cake. We will definitely not be staying here again. Not worth the money whatsoever.

Condo was great. Clean, updated, lots of room. Only downside was the wait for the elevator but I guess that is to be expected for a resort this size. Overall, good stay.

Quiet and peaceful

Really enjoyed our stay there. Room was as pictured and everything was clean and ready for us at 4 when the room was unlocked. Make sure you check in before parking in the garage. The elevators did take a while at times but that is to be expected with the building having 30 floors. Things I’d recommend that the owner replace the master shower head as it’s not spraying right and the dryer is not drying the clothes. Other than that everything was great and yes I would like to go back to this room.

The unit was clean and the kitchen furnished well. Lots of storage for clothes and big closets. Only negative is the second bedroom - which stated twin beds. The beds are really cots (no box springs or solid bed frame). Not for a full grown adult. Would be a perfect unit if the beds replaced. ****
