I enjoyed every minute of my stay they made sure it was clean for my whole visit! They had everything I could need for my time and I would 100% stay at this exact place again. However a dustpan for the broom and some oven kits would be useful as I needed both for my stay but otherwise I couldn’t be happier with my stay!!

Great Stay

Great area to take your family and the location was a quick walk to the beach. You’ll get ice cream, coffee, and dinner within a few blocks but it isn’t too commercialized.

Great location, pictures are accurate. Perfect for 2 persons! Only compliant is the mattress needs to be replaced. It sinks in the middle!

Anniversary Getaway.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary. The place/room was everything and more. It was very quiet and enjoyable. We felt very safe and were able to just walk to the beach. I didn't prefer the public beach because it was quite crowded. Would be better if you guys would allow places on beach for your visitors. The bed needs to be upgraded to king or queen. There also needs to be wider parking available. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year.

AMAZING LOCATION!

Perfect stay! My husband, daughter, and I had an amazing time. This place is perfect for a couple or small family. The walk to the beach was less then 5 minutes. I would recommend waking up early and parking your vehicle at the public beach with all your beach items. We did this and it was perfect. After a long day at the beach, we got in the car and was back at the condo in less then 2 minutes.

Very comfortable

Lovely furnishings, comfy bed and linens, and whole place very clean and well supplied. Wifi went in and out, but host responded promptly with a work-around. Beautiful area. Close to local beach access, but excessive Private Property signs and attempts to keep everyone on one small area of beach are really annoying.

Great location

Very personable rental agency (Liv Rentals). Small but clean rental one block from a beautiful beach. Bike rental across the street, best ice cream on 30a across the street, convenience store and bakery also. I consider it the best beach. Right next to Grayton beach, one mile away. The other beaches are great too but far more populated, beautiful architecture but crowded and expensive and you can always visit those areas for dining. Best dining was Bay and Great Southern cafe, all others were overrated. Make reservation at Great Southern before you get to the rental they are crowded. Clean, nicely decorated rental with nice back porch for extra space.

We stayed at this condo for a birthday trip for my daughter. The location to Blue Mountain Beach is absolutely perfect — just a quick walk and you’re there. The condo was very clean upon arrival, which we appreciated.However, there were several issues during our stay that unfortunately impacted our experience — and I don’t normally leave reviews like this. The most concerning was the strong mildew smell throughout the unit. It was persistent and very unpleasant, to the point it kept us from fully enjoying our time there. We were constantly emptying the air purifier (which filled up multiple times a day), and the smell even clung to our clothes after returning home.In addition, the bathroom sink does not drain properly, the bathtub/shower is extremely small, and the mattresses are worn out and in need of replacement.With some maintenance and updates, this place could be wonderful given the location. But as it stands, I can’t recommend it until those issues are addressed.

The first thing we noticed was an almost musty odor when walking in. After just a short while my husband was triggered by some allergen so we started investigating to determine what it was. He has several allergies. We couldn’t figure it out. We noticed that he was better while at the beach. After the first day, I started having issues and had to use a rescue inhaler, which is not normally necessary. I do not have allergies. We were concerned and stayed out of the unit until bedtime. After spending 2 nights, we decided to go ahead and leave and not stay the final night. There is a dehumidifier running in the living area so there’s obviously a moisture issue. The vents have some rust as well so not sure if there’s mold and/or mildew but everything we brought home took on the musty smell. I am not one to bash someone’s place but wanted to make sure no one else has this experience and for the management to investigate to figure out what is going on. My husband’s voice is hoarse and he was feeling rough but I improved after leaving the unit. Hopefully the problem can be found and resolved!

Everything was fine however I slipped in the tub not once but twice …I’m still bruised on my back where I hit the toilet… I would highly recommend you putting some sort of a tub mat to keep someone else more fragile from hurting themselves. I have never ever slipped in a bathtub or shower and I did it twice in that tub so I would recommend to you to address that issue. i’m an ex jock and am in great shape so the problem is not me

Blue Mountain Beach Condo

We stayed here for a week in March 2024. The communication with the property managers was very thorough. We texted them to see if we could check in three hours early because we were having car trouble and wanted to try to to unpack our car and take it to the dealer. They replied promptly and were able to let us in by 2pm which was great. When we got to the condo we were really disappointed by the moldy, musty smell when we walked in. My eyes immediately started to burn and we started coughing. There was a dehumidifier running of which we emptied twice a day. We didn’t sleep well the first night because of the smell. It got better after about two days of running the dehumidifier constantly. When we got home all of our clothes and luggage smelled like the mold. The baseboards under the dishwasher and kitchen sink were rotten so we wondered if that might be the source of the mold. The bedroom was really small and hard to get around even though we are little people. The shower/bathtub was really small as well. Other than that, the condo was decorated nice, had clean bed linens, a well stocked kitchen and the location was wonderful. I didn’t see any other reviews addressing the musty smell so maybe this is a new issue but we won’t rent here again because of it.
