Venga a experimentar unos pasos de vacaciones desde la playa con un nivel de privacidad que rara vez se encuentra a lo largo de 30A. Esta casita de playa, informal y elegante, ofrece un estilo de vida cómodo y abierto con pisos de madera y una chimenea de piedra debajo de un televisor de pantalla grande. La hermosa cocina incluye encimeras de granito, despensa y una estufa de gas de 5 quemadores. El comedor está amueblado con una mesa de madera maciza de gran tamaño y 12 sillas. El bar de la cocina ofrece asientos adicionales. Una elegante suite principal se encuentra en el primer piso. Un medio baño y cuarto de lavado completan el primer piso. Fácilmente acomodando a varias familias, arriba hay cuatro dormitorios, 2 literas en el pasillo y 2 baños completos. El segundo piso tiene acceso a una torre de observación sobre los árboles con espectaculares vistas del golfo y el lago del este. Hay televisores en cada habitación e internet inalámbrico en todas partes.

La casa ofrece 2 grandes porches seleccionados. El porche delantero está ubicado a la sombra de los robles vivos. El amplio porche trasero con vistas a la piscina y la valla de privacidad crea un oasis escondido. El camino de entrada y la unidad circular separada brindan un amplio estacionamiento para varios autos.

La casa está aproximadamente a 250 yardas del acceso a la playa y del acceso al Lago Oriental para practicar kayak, pesca y paddle surf, y está muy cerca de restaurantes y tiendas.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The main reason for booking was the views from the observation deck that were pictured in the listing, and how the property looked secluded from the photos. However when we arrived there was a very tall home next door that was under construction and completely blocking any view to the ocean, and new homes build all around that overlooked the pool. The photos on the listing are VERY old and do not depict the home as it currently is. The home was also not as clean as we would have hoped. Dust caked on the ceiling fans, mold in the corners of the bathroom, sand all over the floor, dirty dishes put up in the cabinets, ants inside the porch, couches were dirty with food on them, just overall not to our expectations.

A wonderful stay at Blue Bungalow

The property was clean, well maintained and very comfortable for our family of 11. The neighborhood was walkable and enjoyable. A car is definitely needed to go to shopping areas, including groceries. It would be nice if there were some basic spices available, like salt and pepper, for those who choose to prepare meals at home. But, we were prepared by Management that this would not be so, so we brought or bought our own. Otherwise the kitchen was adequately equipped. The living spaces are big enough for everyone to gather together as needed. We very much enjoyed our visit and would return, but not in summer when the traffic lines would be unbearable. You would need a golf cart or bicycles for transportation, and even these would be difficult for older adults. I would think there could be some danger also for all but the most alert bicyclists during peak rental seasons. One must be prepared for long walks for shopping and sightseeing. But, overall, it was a wonderful stay immediately after Christmas for our family.

Great for a big family.

Stayed here with a our family of 5 plus 2 other families with plenty of room. Pool was great and walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. Only suggestion I would have would be to spray for ants out by the pool/ table and chairs. Other than that no complaints, would definitely stay here again!

Family Friendly

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Bungalow! We loved the location of the house, it was very quiet and feels private. We had 9 adults total in our group and 2 kids (age 2 and 3). The setup of the house was perfect for us and the pool is a huge plus, especially with little kids! The house feels very homey instead of just another rental and it was very clean. The beach access is just around the corner from the house, the only downside is you do have to walk across a small part of the lake to get to the beach so pack light! The only thing I would change about the house is the lack of bathroom space upstairs. There are only 2 bathrooms and they are very small with barley any counter space but we made due!

Beautiful property, terrible neighbors

We absolutely loved the property, however had repeated unwarranted complaints from neighbors about noise and number of cars in our driveway (which never exceeded the max amount). For a house that sleeps 16, we felt that we couldn’t even enjoy the pool or sit on the front porch to sip our coffee in fear of getting a noise complaint (2 visits from police and 3 visits from management) from a neighbor who told us “I am on week 6 of spring break and over it”. It’s unfortunate that such a wonderful home in a great location is not suitable for large groups that want to enjoy the basic amenities of the property.

Great house with huge screened in porch

Our group really enjoyed this house, especially the back porch. Plenty of room for 8 adults to hang out (with several beds to spare). The beach access is convenient - the closer beach access may require wading through water from lake and the other beach access down the road is small and does not allow tents and canopies. Comments for Benchmark: The alarm on the door for pool safety is not functioning properly and we never found the tv remote for the living room.

Lovely Home - Terrible Management

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately we were not pleased with the way the property management was run and would not seek to rent from this agency again. Being supplied 4 rows of toilet paper and one trash bag for a house that advertises it sleeps 16 people is not realistic. Asking the renters to go out and buy additional supplies doesn’t work considering most of the time people are traveling and would not be able to bring rolls of toilet paper, trash bags, or paper towels home with them on an airplane. We've rented with other management companies along 30a and have been provided with an adequate amount of paper supplies and will be renting from them from now on. The pool was not cleaned and the management company was not willing to come out and clean it - we found several frogs in the pool and the filters were completely full. The home was lovely - furniture was great, location was great - loved being walking distance to the beach, unfortunately the weekend was tainted by the management company

Perfect Bungalow

The house is amazing. The location is great. Lots of room for the whole family (16) ranging from infant to 70s. The porches are a great addition to the indoor open area. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Recommend renting a golf cart and bikes!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We vacationed in this home for 7 days. The home is beautiful and served our needs for the week. However, we had to contact the property manager almost daily due to several appliance and plumbing issues. They resolved each issue in a timely manner except for the dishwasher improperly draining. The beach rental service agency Vacayzen was also an issue. All beach equipment we rented with our credit was very worn. Broken bikes, backpack chairs and umbrellas. We had to contact them daily as well. Overall, the house suited our needs, but I have never been on a vacation with a rental house that I had so many issues with that needed attention during a 7 day stay. This home needs a maintenance day overhaul.

It was fine for us because we didn’t max out the sleeping space. We did have a brief moment of panic when we first arrived because one of the bathrooms was locked from the inside, and we thought we had only one bathroom upstairs. Management sent someone very quickly to unlock it, so it wasn’t a problem. The dishwasher is not properly installed, so we had to be careful opening it, or it wanted to fall forward. There was the expected wear and tear associated with a rental property at the end of the season. Overall, we had a great time, and I would stay there again.

An amazing stay at the Blue Bungalow

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I truly cannot say enough good things about our stay at the blue bungalow! This house was pretty close to perfect for us. The location was fantastic. It felt very secluded, but was still close enough to the beach access and was just minutes away from all of the action in Seaside. The interior of the house was decorated beautifully and very spacious. The large kitchen was a hit with all of the guests! Our favorite part of the house was definitely the backyard area. The pool was very clean and kid friendly. There was a very shallow part of the pool that was perfect for my two-year-old to play in. We also enjoyed the screened in porch at the back of the house. It was a great spot for evening family dinners or even an afternoon nap. There was really only one negative part of our stay here and that was the mosquitos! Obviously this is out of the property management’s control being that the house is right across the street from the lake, but it is worth noting. Just bring your bug spray and you will be ready for an amazing time at the blue bungalow!

The screened porches are the most relaxing for drinking coffee in the morning and grilling in the evening! It’s a short walk the beach board walk and the pool was enjoyed by all!! The house was clean and ready for check in! The only thing I would change was the back door was very hard to open. Even for adults. We will be back to stay again! Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!!

Awful management company - beware. Electrical issues.

We have been renting properties around the world for the past 20 years. We rented this property for Christmas for a party of 8. An hour before check-in the property management company called us to inform us the refrigerator was not working and that they could not find anyone to come out and fix it, but were working on it. They then flippantly said that it was really no problem because the owners had *graciously* allowed us to use the outdoor fridge in their private garage. To help I started calling around and found someone who could come out. When I called them back, they said “Oh, in actuality they did have it looked at and it cannot be fixed. The owners are buying a new one and it won’t be delivered until after your stay.” I asked why they had not said that before, and they said – “but you have a perfectly working fridge outside the owners have *agreed* to let you use.” “So, you want a party of 8, to go back and forth (it was through the house, the patio and down to the pool) in the cold for 8 days cooking every day?” She did not see an issue with this. I asked to speak to the manager. She called back after 30 min and offered a cooler with ice. Next call I made they offer a minifridge. When the manager called back, she stated their same position, that there was no problem as the owners were *allowing* us to use their garage fridge. Their tone and their flippant nature about this was remarkable. We ended up going back and forth to the garage fridge (got locked out of the garage once – called to get it opened), buying ice for the cooler and making do. The house, lot and area are nice, but they do have electrical problems (reason why brand-new fridge broke?) We had to reset the breaker 4x as the bottom of the house lost power. It’s been renovated but has sub-par fixtures - most door handles have issues (my daughter got stuck in the bathroom 2x), the faucet knobs have leaks and feel they will fall off anytime. It’s a rental, so I get it. The lookout tower is fabulous, and overall the house is comfortable. Just beware that you might have some essential item go out during your stay (because electrical issue we witnessed) and you’ll be stuck with whatever fix they think is acceptable. No pricing adjustments as they’ll be quick to point to contract on how things happen that are beyond their control (fair), but the tone/heartless way of addressing the issue will have you wishing you were elsewhere and had rented directly from an owner.

A beautiful bungalow, perfect for our large family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was more than we could have imagined. We were happily surprised that the unit was even more beautiful than the photos. It has a wonderfully stocked kitchen and the perfect 'hang out' living room space. We enjoyed the private pool that had all day sun, perfect for our age range of kids (7,3,5,1). We had one issue with the fan on the oven, but this was quickly and professionally resolved by the management company. All in all, a wonderful rental and a great experience.
