Bob,It has been a very busy winter and I am finally able to write to you. We had a wonderful time at your condo on Sanibel Island. We rode our bikes everywhere and the Island public works does a great job keeping everything safe and traffic moving. The Condo had everything we needed. We do not eat out much and not at all on this trip, so the kitchen and supplies are very important to us. It was wonderful being able to walk down to the water where we could use a cozy public park with great shoreline fishing. The pool and tennis courts looked wonderful, but we were so busy riding around and exploring the island that we never used the pool. We did use the condo grill and the posted instructions were perfect, and the grill worked wonderfully. We had a blast. If there were anything that I would change it would be do not store the bikes in the bedroom. Bringing the bikes down and back up two flights of stairs is unnecessary. You didn't ask, but I think guests would be happier if the bikes were kept downstairs locked and covered.

Quiet and restful place. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and 2 bikes for our use. Owner was very attentive and answered any questions we had. A great place on the island. Highly recommend.

Very nice stay. It was a nice 1 mile walk to the beach, so we didn't have to pay for parking. Saw a dolphin in the causeway while sitting on the balcony. Very nice condo.

Fantastic condo on Sanibel

Great location right off of causeway. Close to the Sanibel Lighthouse and restaurants on east end of island. Bob the owner was great to work with . He really wanted to make sure my friends & I had everything we needed for a wonderful stay . Will definitely return next year.

Great getaway

Beautiful location with ready access to beaches, bike trails and amazing fishing. The complex is well maintained and the people are very friendly and helpful. If you love sea life just sit near the canal and the dolphins will swim right by you! The owners were readily available if you any questions and the condo has all the supplies that you will need, We had a fantastic vacation!

Excellent location

Very close to the causeway thus minimizing wait in traffic especially during rush hour when getting on or off the island. The host was very helpful and was always available for questions. This made check in a lot easier. Just note though, the unit is on the third floor and as far as I knowtherewere no elevaIt'jknees.enjmstaywould

Great unit in a great location.

We loved our stay! The unit was well kept, and the location was perfect for accessing everything on the island, or for getting off the island easily. We really appreciated the owner's communication - everything was well documented, and the unit came with everything we needed for a fun and comfortable stay on the island. We've been coming to Sanibel for 26 years, and we like to stay in different locations to see more of the island, but this is one of the places we will revisit for sure. Thanks for everything!

BEAUTIFUL

We stayed at this adorable little place and have so many wonderful things to say about it. First off, Bob, the host, was absolutely amazing to deal with and communicated every step of the way. This house had everything we could have ever needed, and my kids enjoyed it so much this is there perfect place for a small family. We were there during Hurricane Helene, and Bob was so good with communicating and making sure we were comfortable and safe all through the storm. This house is stocked to the max with cooking materials and everything you could ever need! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

Ok for spry boaters and fishing

No elevator and no laundry facilities in unit made for lots of stairs with heavy loads for us old folks. Second bedroom useless for guests with Murphy bed and bikes stored in the room.

Joan, I don't think you were very fair of the review of my property. We had a lengthy conversation regarding the amenities of the property, including that there was no elevator at the property, that the laundry facilities were coin operated and downstairs, and as for the second bed room being useless I think that was a bit over the top. I told you that the second bedroom was set up as a office with a very expensive Murphy bed and a high quality Serta perfect sleeper mattress. Also the bikes are stored in the bedroom to keep them nice and it is very easy to move them. You stated you were happy with the communication between us and were happy to see Dolphins in the channel. If I am being honest, through our conversations, I don't think the Lincoln bed room in the White House would be good enough for you. As you know, I installed some really nice recent upgrades including, new luxury vinyl flooring and trim. Also, as far as the location, I explained were Tennis Place was located on the Island, which is a mile to light house beach on the Gulf side. You were there primarily there for shelling and getting away from the cold of where you are from. I am sorry you did not get quite the weather you were looking for, but I cant control that. These are my thought on your review of my property

Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tennisplace. It is immediately off of the causeway, so it is very easy to access once you arrive on the island. The condo was exactly as described. We were very happy with how clean it was and that there were no musty smells! It is decorated nicely and has everything available that you can possibly imagine to need. The unit is older but Bob is updating things bit by bit (most recently the flooring). We loved having our morning coffee and evening tea (or wine!) on the balcony. What a beautiful view of the canal. The noseeums were the only drawback as they were brutal the second half of our week. The condo is not on the beach but Bob has an umbrella and two chairs that are easily loaded into the car and off you go. Be aware that parking is $5/hr on Sanibel beaches (this can add up). It was very quiet within the complex and the few neighbours we saw were very friendly. All in all, we enjoyed the stay and found it be perfect for our needs. We would definitely return! Thank you Bob and Carol!

Incredible Experience/Incredible Host- Only One Toilet

This was one of my top five vacations and the location, amenities and communication were the reason I loved it so much. Bob contacted me several times before the vacation to make sure I had all the information I needed and answered questions quickly and kindly.The checkin process was simple and without issue. We found the unit to be very clean and stocked with items far beyond any previous rental I've stayed at. The unit was decorated nicely and it was easy to find and utilize all of the amenities. The bikes were in great shape, the kitchen had every item we needed and more. There were plenty of bedding and bath supplies.I'm giving 5 stars for the unit because I can't remember if I was told that there was an extra sink but only one toilet or not. I'm guessing I was because Bob is such a great communicator and I probably didn't process it. I think it's important to know that the 1/2 bath is actually a sink and counter in the main bedroom (which is very nice!!)The steps were a lot by mid week but the view is wonderful...the unit small but cozy and the price is right!Then canal is amazing!! Fishing and wildlife viewing is out of this world! I caught 7 different species of fish and saw dolphins, manatees and iguanas. Licenses are easy to purchase and a bait shop nearby has all you need. Wonderful vacation!! Highly recommend!

Great time on a great property

We loved the unit and the property. Bob made sure to let us know what we needed to know before we came down and offered to get us anything we thought the unit was lacking. It wasn’t (my wife even noted they had chip bag clips!). The location was great on the canal for fishing and the pool was very convenient. We used the supplied bikes every day and the tennis rackets and beach chairs as well. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks Bob!

Our stay was great, we would love to come back.

If your looking for a great place to stay while visiting sanibel island this is a very good place to stay! The room was furnished with dishes, they have an awesome grilling area, fish cleaning station, bikes for you to use, they had a locker down stairs with chairs fishing pole, anything you need. We loved our stay! Actually if we could have stayed longer we would have neither of us wanted to leave.. it’s in a good location to shopping areas, bait shops and beaches. The canal behind us was great to fish in as well, the sheepshead were biting like crazy. We will definitely be back there!

Paradise Tranquillity Never Want To Leave

This was our first time to Sanibel. We will be coming back regularly. Bob was the best host. He communicated with us before our trip, at check-in, and after check-out. He has a storage unit with chairs, umbrella, bikes, and noodles. Everything you need to enjoy Bowman’s beach. The sunsets are incredible. We love the location it is quiet and out of the path of the hustle of the island. We walked the paths and beach everyday. Perfect place to reset the brain, body and soul. The unit will hold 4 but space wise it is really perfect for 2. The pictures are true and you get what you see. We even had about a 4 or 5 foot iguana visit us on the pier. The osprey are beautiful and the dolphins early in the morning. Thanks Bob
