We had a great stay? The pool is large and very nice. As advertised the beach is a 7 minute walk. We did have hard rain one day and the roof leaked over master bedroom in two places. This needs to be fixed. Still enjoyed the house and location.

Loved sitting on the raised deck and watching the golfers play as well as the wildlife around the lagoon and golf course. Sunsets are specatacular!It is time for some new bedding though - all guests complained about the beds. Every time you move, they make all sorts of noises....That said, we will be back again!

The home is special with 5 bedrooms, each with a private bath. Two complete living areas with two full kitchens made spreading out an easy option and we never ran short of space for our activities! The pool is huge and the elevated decks have a great view of the 12th hole of the RTJ golf course. A short 5 minute walk to the beach which is very wide and uncrowded was very much appreciated !It’s great house, we hope to stay there again!

My family and I had a great time at this house. Perfect location in being away from the main areas of the resort and a legitimate short walk to the beach. Spacious, plenty of room, kids loved the pool. Great place for a big family trip!

Wonderful stay

Wonderful house tucked away in Palmetto Dunes. We come every year and this is the first time we rented an entire house for our group of 11. Kids lived the pool and the views were awesome. Could even see the fireworks from the back deck at shelter cove!

It definitely has one of the largest pools in Palmetto Dunes. It’s very private and secluded from the neighbors. The home and pool sit above the surrounding homes. It’s a short walk across the 10 th hole to coco’s for great drinks. The home is newly remodeled. I think the mattresses need replaced, too hard

Family Christmas week

Needs some outdoor decking repair. House was clean and very livable. Needs to install missing lightbulbs. Plenty of space for all of us to be together or find a quiet spot.

Beautiful location but house is not up to par

Hilton Head is beautiful and the neighborhood is amazing. This specific house was not worth the rental fee. The house was very messy from remaining sand on the floors to stool being left on one of the toilets. The deck and pool area need a lot of maintenance. The pictures online show a beautiful lighted pool. Pool lights did not work and the furniture was in disarray with the last renters pool toys and floats left all over. EVERY single one of the beds in the house make so much noise every time you move. The house has several light bulbs out. The elevator was hard to figure out and finicky. The driveway had beach rental gear left from over a week ago from the last renters. The garage has trash, sand, and beach gear strung out all over the place. The dishwasher leaked on our arrival but management did send someone to fix it on day 3 of our rental. The dishes in the house were not evenly distributed between the floors. We would have to go upstairs to get dishes for the main floor and back and fourth. The home has beautiful views and windows but the windows have not been wiped down in months. They had finger and hand prints on them when we arrived. The floors are rough on the feet. The home is in a beautiful location and the pictures make it seem as though it is clean and well maintained. It did not ruin our vacation but it was very disappointing when you arrive and see the condition it was in and that you have looked forward to and paid good money for.

Perfect house for our group

The house was perfect for what we needed. We had 5 adults and 4 teenagers. The teens were able to have their own space which was nice. The pool was absolutely perfect! The walk to the beach took us about 5 minutes. Communication with the property manager was great and they were prompt in responding. Would stay at this property again.

Pool gummed up and turned green on our 3rd day (was not resolved for 2 days) so yuk.Cabinets were very sticky. Rear deck is falling apart, had quite a few near falls and nails in our feet. There was a dead rat laying by our pool when we arrived, so not sure if the pool area was even cleaned for our arrival. It just seems for the amount of money, things should've been awesome.

Family vacation May 2023

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lots of memories were made here. Reading previous reviews here is what I would focus on. The home is a little aged but I would not hesitate to stay here again. It met our needs and provided us with the space we needed and the location was perfect. Bedroom #3 has some plumbing issues and we were not able to use the shower and one of the sinks but there were plenty other bathrooms and showers so don’t dwell on that as I am sure the owners will get those issues resolved. The area is perfect to walk or bike around in (rent the bikes, you will not be disappointed). The beach access is within walking distance. Maybe 3 or 4 houses away. It was perfect as we didn’t have to drive & find parking. The house also has a working elevator. It was so helpful for my elderly father and also for bringing in the groceries. The garage has 2 wagons to help take things to the beach. Grocery stores, shopping and restaurants are all close by. The management company was good about responding to our needs but keep in mind that sometimes they need to call in professional help (pool companies and professional plumbers) so those might take a little longer. Again, I would not hesitate staying in this property again. Oh, bring your own beach towels or plan on renting some.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a weeklong stay in August. Great house for big groups.Pros:*Pool was large and well-maintained. We loved that it was not shaded and had a big pool deck.*Upper deck had a great view over the golf course.*Location right along the lagoon was nice. We used the small deck along the lagoon to set crab traps.*Easy to walk onto the golf course to play a hole or two in the evening.*Plenty of living space, with two living rooms and two kitchens.*Kitchens were well-stocked.*The "hotel-style" rooms on the upper level were nice for family members who wanted to be more private/separated.*Big laundry room off the pool, which has an extra bathroom with shower - super convenient during pool time.*Multiple air-conditioning units kept the whole house nice and cold!*Easy beach access just down the road. Close enough to walk to Coco's via the beach for snacks and drinks.Cons:*House interior is dated and beginning to feel run-down in places.*Showers and bathtubs do not drain well.*Beds are terribly uncomfortable and creaky. Also, many of the king size beds are actually two twin beds pushed together -- great for flexibility with rooming arrangements, but not great for comfort if beds are shared.*Outside needs some better maintenance -- we had a family member stung by wasps that seemed to have hives on the upper level walkway; upper deck and deck furniture was sticky with sap all over; big windows in upstairs living room and in kitchen table area near the pool were noticeably dirty with tree pollen/debris.This house has a ton of potential, but really needs interior work. We will probably look elsewhere for our visit next summer.

Location, location, location

Two families of 6 with kids ranging from 14 years old to 23 years old stayed in this sprawling home. We usually stay in Shipyard but decided to try Palmetto Dunes. Loved it. This house is laid out so well that everyone can easily have their own space but can still be together. The house overlooks the golf course which makes it easy to ride bikes on the golf cart path after hours. The beach is a short 5 minute walk away. The swimming pool is huge. Loved this house and look forward to future stays.
