Mini Getaway

Nice property, great location, very clean and spacious. We had difficulty checking in after hours, but someone responded within 30 minutes and directed us to the lock box with gate passes. Will definitely stay again! My family and I really enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful vacation at 3 Sutherland Court in Palmetto Dunes! We enjoyed going to the beautiful beach, biking to the general store and cooking meals at home.

Fun trip!

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were ample utensils and dishes in the house. Some of the beds weren’t very comfortable and could definitely use a mattress/frame upgrade but overall it is a very well kept property with a great proximity to the beach!

Enjoyed the porch

We had a fabulous vacation and really enjoyed the location. The front porch was perfect and we spent lots of early mornings and late nights enjoying it. The pool was great and perfect size for our family. The house was clean and fit our families needs very well. We hope to be back next year.

The house was very nice, lots of room! Bunk room too small, as was queen bedroom/bath. Beach!!

We had a great time here. All eleven of us enjoyed the pool, playing games in the living room and meal prep in kitchen! Beach was a short walk or bike ride! We rented bikes which everyone enjoyed! Dolphin cruise was disappointing!

Beautiful spacious home

Very nice beautiful home and neighborhood! Enjoyed the large pool but not sure it was cleaned before our arrival. Lots of trees around so I am sure that is a factor. Pool was great for all ages! Close to beach. We definitely would like to rent again in future!

Beautiful home with lots of room for everyone. Quiet neighborhood with quick and easy walk to the beach. Great location in Palmetto Dunes-close to shopping and restaurants. Bunk bedroom too small for 4 people and not enough room to open sleep sofa so plan accordingly; perfect room for young children. Management company was very accommodating and responsive to our questions.

Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay here- large open living spaces were great for large groups and the big front porch was a wonderful spot to hang out. The place was clean and updated. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes, so if you have kids would plan for a cart or wagon to tote your beach gear.The swimming pool was very nice but it was really cold when we went in June- we unfortunately barely used it as a result. Would definitely recommend!

Great location - 10 minuet walk to beach, on road with cul-de-sac that was perfect for young children to ride bikes. Comfortable space for multiple families. It needs a new refrigerator. One drawer and a shelf were not functional which limited useful space. Over all we all enjoyed the house and would rent again.

small improvements

Strainer for kitchen sink would help immensely especially during COVID where eating in was more popular. Secondly, putting a queen size been in place of full in either of the bedrooms that had full only. Would add flexibility in divvying up bedrooms with kids and parents. Spraying for mosquitoes might also be an improvement. Overall property met or exceeded expectations.

Last Minute Trip to Hilton Head

This property was fantastic. One of the best houses we've stayed in out of our many vacations to several destinations. We had three families, 14 people, and never felt like we were on top of one another. The living room, kitchen, and dining area were all very spacious and the 6 bedroom layout was great. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of bath towels were provided, and the front porch made the trip. The pool size was very large compared to others in the area. It gets plenty of sun in the afternoon but also provides plenty of shade on those hot, summer days. The house sits on a very private cul-de-sac so plenty of privacy. The kids loved biking to the General Store every day for their sweet treats. All three families were very pleased with everything and will return again next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic time this week with our adult children and 2 new grand children. Due to Covid, our Island experiences were limited. We cooked every meal in. And mostly used or pool out back. The location was great and area golf courses were wonderful. The house was clean and well appointed. The kitchen and eating areas were perfect. There was plenty of room for adults and children. The power went out and propane was empty but we’re taken care of. Overall a great experience.

Overall great stay

Overall, 14 of us had a very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the pool and it was a short walk to the beach. Home was as advertised. Spacious living/dining area. Kitchen had all of the amenities needed for us to cook. They provided games like scattergories and scrabble that we had a ball playing. Issues we ran into included 1) the pool is surrounded by beautiful trees that offer privacy and a serene setting but also means the pool can get dirty quite quickly. There was a storm our first day there and because a lot of the debris sunk to the bottom of the pool we had to wait for the pool guys to clean it out. A nice pool cover would solve this problem, 2) the refrigerator was too small for the amount of food we needed for all of us, a second fridge even just for drinks would be helpful and 3) we had difficulty finding the lights when grilling after dark. But overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Nice home and location - a couple opportunities ….

Nice Home - the location of the home is great, less than 5 min bike ride and 10 min walk to the beach. The kitchen is well-equipped and the living areas are spacious (we had 14 people in our party). The decor is not out of date and the televisions all look to have been updated recently. Opportunities - first we were surprised to have to pay for our Palmetto Dunes parking passes (each). Maybe that is something new - but we have never had to do that before. Even though there are 6 bedrooms, the driveway is tight with 5 cars and you have to jockey cars around. The beds need replaced - there are a couple of good beds - but most are sagging and/or thin. Most nights the living room couches were used (they are comfortable). I know the property owner and the management company are aware and are working on this. I would just check where they are at with the replacement process before committing to the rental agreement
