16 Singleton Shores Manor

As a large family, we have been coming to this particular house for many years. This year our 16 adults and kids were very comfortable and felt at home. We particularly appreciate that the owners continually upgrade the furnishings, amenities, and exterior. An example is this year we found a brand-new grill and patio furniture. We recommend this place for any wonderful vacation experience.

The main problem we had was the slow response from the pool company to correct the problem. We lost the use of our pool for the last two days of or vacation due to an algae bloom. I the best they could do was tell me there sorry. Kind of hard to explain to the grandchildren why they can’t swim the last two days of their vacation.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry the pool issue impacted the last portion of your vacation, especially with your grandchildren looking forward to enjoying the pool. As soon as the issue was reported, our team contacted the pool company and had them onsite that same day to treat the pool. We were advised that the pool should be safe to use within a few hours; unfortunately, it remained cloudy the following day. When this was reported to us, we immediately contacted the pool company again, and they returned to the home for a second consecutive day. We also offered access to the nearby community pool as an alternative. We understand how disappointing this situation was and wish the treatment had resolved the issue more quickly. This was the first pool-related issue we experienced at this home all year, and our team worked diligently to address it as quickly as possible. We truly apologize that it affected the end of your stay.

Great house!

We had a great time staying at 16 Singleton. The house had so much space for all 3 families that stayed. The kids loved having a pool table and pool to play in. The location to the beach was great it was only an easy short walk to what felt like a private beach. We all loved staying here and would definitely book this house again!

Nice property

We enjoyed our stay. The property was in a great location and was a short drive to outlets, restaurants, etc. It accommodated our family of 10 easily and was well furnished. Pool table and private pool are huge bonuses. This property also has a great few over the marsh and ocean. 10/10 recommend.

Thanksgiving reunion

The house is amazing! The rooms were beautiful and there was tons of space to chat, play games, and just relax while enjoying an amazing view. I wish the walk to the beach was a bit more user friendly.

Wonderful spring break

We had such a wonderful time at this Hilton Head for a relaxing spring break! The house is amazing (even better than the photos!), it felt so clean and had everything we needed. There are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind. It has a lovely view of the marsh and beach. We loved our quick bike rides down the the beach, it's a very easy ride. Everything about it was just perfect!

Family Reunion

This rental house had ample space for four families. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath which made getting ready a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The pool area had plenty of seating for evening visits. There were two tables for dinning and plenty of seating in the living room. If I had to recommend anything I might add a firepit for the pool area. We had a fabulous time and would recommend this rental.

Family vacation

The house was a great size for the 8 adults and 3 kids in our family. Plenty of seating areas on two levels, nice open kitchen that was well stocked, loved bathroom with every bedroom, nice bar area and loved having the pool. We did think that, for the price , there might be access to pool/beach floats/toys. Also, with the house sleeping up to 16 the pool is a bit on the small side. Loved the quiet neighborhood that was close to shopping. We had a great view of the beach/ocean. Our family had a wonderful vacation.

Good location and view with a short walk to the beach. Drawbacks were the ice machine and hot tub both had maintenance issues which were never fixed and we were unable to use during our entire stay.

Beautiful Home - Exactly as described

This is a very nice property and top grade quality for the furniture and appliances. The house was very nice and all furniture and bedding was very comfortable. I love the bottom floor layout and area that leads out to the back patio and pool. There is a beverage fridge and ice maker that makes it conventient to have cold beverages and snacks while hanging out at the pool. The living area was very comfortable with plenty of room and tables for dining with large families / friends. It's a short walk to the beach but a very pleasant one and down a road with very little traffic. All in all, I was very happy with this house.

Only comment I would make is about previous reviews. People said short walk to beach--actually about 10 minute walk. Not a problem but people should be aware. There is a bike rack near the beach path if you have a bike at your disposal.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at 16 Singleton Shores Manor. House was beautiful. Well stocked and very clean. I’m kind of a neat freak and I loved this house. Great location. We rode our bikes several times to the beach but also walked. It was an easy walk. The property management team was very responsive and eager to help. Enjoyed our stay very much. We will for sure visit this beautiful home again!

Wonderful Home with Stunning Viewss

This home was our favorite of all homes we've stayed in! It was so spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have private space, yet also enough room at tables to gather for meals. The views out over the marsh and to the ocean were peaceful and beautiful. We loved watching the birds and the tide come and go. This home has a well stocked kitchen, plus two cribs in large walk in closets and two twin mattresses to use on the floor (which we made use of). Plenty of beach chairs and toys are also in the garage closet. We rented bikes which were handy to ride to the beach. The master suite on the top floor was enormous, with its own living room, balcony overlooking the marsh/ocean, and a huge bathroom and walk in closet. The rental company was very very helpful to us before and during our stay.

Beautiful and relaxing get away

This property was everything we could have imagined! Very clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of space for our multi family gathering! The one draw back was the fact that it didn’t have simple cooking spices like salt and pepper. Be prepared to handle lots of stairs but for us it was a welcome exercise after lounging at the pool and beach. Our family ranged from 77 years old down to 6 years old and everyone loved the property. The beach was a little walk (less than 10 mins) but if you rent bikes you can get their very quickly! To wake up to this view every morning was amazing. The beach was somewhat private as it’s only access was for those in the neighborhood. It was also right next to a park with a playground perfect for our 6 year old. Vacation Homes of Hilton Head were very easy to work with! I would highly recommend this property.
